Originalsly: Saying "extreme end" is like saying "return back". Extreme is correct....as in "you can go to whatever extreme to prove me wrong".
Extreme end is correct and not redundant just like 'the reason why'

Yea. But i think that both are correct depending on the context. He is good at English but good in teaching English ( i stand to be refuted though)

Abbey2sam: They are both correct

She was delivered of a baby boy

She has put to bed

Alright = all right
Both are also correct though some people considered alright as informal and should not be used in a formal write up
Put to bed should be wrong.

gboss4sure: How to deal with jealousness is simple, pfucking around helps a lot and also dating more than 1 girl helps you overcome jealous, yea call it cheating but it helps and if you. I tried it when a gurl broke my hrt for de first time tho I stopped it but now I don't feel any iota of jealousness for any gurl no matter what she do and my current gf is really doubting if I love her as I don't get jealous even when she trys to make me get jealous but I knows the fact that I do love her. Let's say am used to gurls magic behaviour that I don't feel again, sometimes there are advantages in been a bad boy but don't let it get into your head.
Sorry, ''jealousy'' not 'jealousness'.

So just start showing love to her, buy her gifts occasionally.
Among all human desires, the desire to be loved is supreme and indispensable as no human being can live without love.
The knowledge that someones appreciates and cares about you makes you want to live or else you would be contemplating suide.

Gud luck!
FamilyRe: I Read My Sister"s Diary And She Is Planning To Commit Suicide by Serendipity: 12:07pm On Jan 03, 2013
I had a similar experience with my immediate younger sister. Hers was that her self esteem plummetted to the extent that she went batty and slightly mad. I never knew that self esteem issues could cause pains, headache and what have you.
She was taken to psychiatric hospitals and put on psychoanalysis.
Also, some people in the church then found out about her condition, they came closer and started showing her love.
It was then that I found out that she lacked love from the family as my mother and other older siblings would always chide, bark and yell at her even unreasonably. To my mother and others, she was a never-do-well and a black sheep.
I then took it upon myself, to love and dote on her unconditionally. I bridged the gap in our age. I let go of the fact that I was her elder brother.
She returned to normalcy and started adjusting and is doing fine now.
SERIOUSLY, parents should avoid comparisons and show love to their kids.
Elderly ones should join suit as it is not good at all times to be bossy with the air of seniority.
So just start showing love to her, buy her gifts occasionally.
Among all human desires, the desire to be loved is supreme and indispensable as no human being can live without love.
The knowledge that someones appreciates and cares about you makes you want to live or else you would be contemplating suide.

charlex armani: Whether d gal is worth loving because she even went as far as suggesting that we both have sex and to b precise we only meet each other a couple of hours ago.
From the face value, the girl is coquetish lascivious.
As per being worth loving, it depends on what you want from every friendship/relatinship. Personally, I wouldn't fancy someone that will be luring me into sex every now and then, having vowed to abstain from it.
So it depends on you.
It is very important that you take time and check her character too, because if she has got bad character, then she is no good for any man.
Now, if she treats everybody the way she treated you at the party, then the prognosis is that of doom. But if she just treated you alone that way, then it's a different thing altogether.
And use your senses and not your erect dicckk and lust in making your value judgements.
Gudluck!

2sexy: Bro, thank God that you understood me. But you know the funniest thing about things like this, he will still spend that money on the girl. My elder brother used to warn me then that YOU DONT START a relationship by spending money on a girl. did i listen. But you know, they experience is the best teacher. It just that I have made a promise to myself that I will stop sharing that info on nairaland. Na wetin she no use my eyes see? even go fvck another guy sef.

if the OP like, make him listen, if him like make e no listen. na him no. I was had my own share, my friend too has had his and I dont think is a bad idea if you have your own share too.
Maybe the guy should be pardoned for harbouring that thought. He may be a neophyte or novice in such matters.
BUT then again, He that has ear let him hear...
RomanceRe: Girls Are Unpredictable by Serendipity: 12:58am On Jan 02, 2013
Sorry for that nightmarish experience.
It is lucid that you are a dolt or a wuss in the girl's estimation.
If I were u, I would delete her number immediately, because it's either I don't deserve her or vice-versa. And God forbid that I will foist myself on any girl.
I would also brood over the experience and with equal momentum thank God for it.
Why? Because it will serve as a catalyst for you to strive for excellence and meteoric success in whatever you do. In other words, it will kill complacency and smugness, so that you will feel uncomfortable with the situation and do something about it.
(ASIDE: I remember those days in school, my brother used to be belligerent and troublesome and took his studies very 'unseriously' hence he made horrible grades. One day a girl insulted him about it, he came back, wept and vowed to change his fate. He eventually did and took the first position the next term. He led that class until graduation.)
SO LET THIS EXPERIENCE SERVE AS AN INCENTIVE.

Things like this will continue to happen to guys that have not carved a niche for themselves, they will, unfortunately, continue being at the mercy of girls especially the ill mannered ones that are deficient character wise.

JUST MY TWO CENT'S WORTH.
Gudluck!

Serendipity: God forbid that I spend money from the outset of anything with a girl.
May God also forbid that I become an impostor. In fact, it is even better to downgrade yourself a little bit.
LET it not be seen that I'm parsimonious or niggardly. No. I can give a girl something that I think she needs and not a 'want' motivated by the desire to keep up with the joneses; say she use a BB curve that is in a very good condition and just all of a sudden she just wants to upgrade maybe to meet up with her friends, She go meet her papa be that. But if she needs, I repeat needs something that I can easily afford, then what prevents me from providing same, be that person a female/ male friend or even an acquaintance

The guy just wants to squander his dough, it is deductible that he is either a student or low income salary earner.
It's time we accepted that some people cannot be into you, no matter who you are, your affluence, handsomeness, wealth, posh cars etc. It's just natural. That's why I see it as foolhardiness when some people, especially guys force themselves on girls because they think they have got what it takes. And when the girl, feigns undying love and uses them as meal ticket, after which they dump them, then the guys start complaining.

2sexy: Exactly! That was how I started the most disastrous relationship I have ever had. And I will NEVER in my life repeat such again. if the dem make them call me stingy. Who cares? If dem like call me broke ass, who cares? OP, you will be dead before you know you got yourself into.

I dont know your plan with this girls. if you wish to date her for real, here is what will happen. she will sponge on you and when she finds someone she likes, if hasnt got one already and wont tell you, she will smash your face/heart to the ground. MONEY CANT BUY LOVE.

DONT DO IT! NEVER START A RELATIONSHIP by spending on a girl because when she start misbehaving, you would want to spend more to please her. because the thought of what you had spent is really scary. And so, you end up wanting to spend more and more and more while you drown yet she wont love you.

A friend shared a story of how he spent thousands on a girl but when she started misbehaving, he spent more. look, dont even think she will love you because you have spent money on her. if she meets someone who has a better offer, she will dump your sorry a55. Look at it from this angle: just as you are trying to please her, so are other guys.

Back to my friend. He , just like me, started by spending money on this girl, he secured admission for her etc.My own na small sef... we are talking of over 500k but despite that, in a midst of someone who was to reconcile both of them, an elderly man who this friend of mine had reported to, and the man ask her if she loved him.

What do you think was her answer? SHE LOOKED INTO HIS EYES AND THAT OF THE MAN AND SAID SHE DOES NOT LOVE HIM.

My heart sank when I heard those word.

If I were you, I will use that 7k to buy clothes for myself of look for an item to add to my room to look good. IMO, that is much better way to impress a girl.
I can't restrain myself from saying that this is a piece of advice that is matter of fact and pithily expressed.

striktlymi: Good afternoon young sir,

When I did my SSCE back in '98 I made use of Goodnews bible and made a B3. So if you ask me I will say there are a lot of good versions out there but if it is to recommend, I will say Goodnews and New Jerusalem Bible.

But since you are preparing for SSCE, I believe they must have recommended texts. Why not check the syllabus and make use of the bible recommended?

Thank you!
Preparing for SSCE? No sir, I didn't say that.
At any rate, thanks for contributing.

Lately I observed that there are some portions of the bible that I can't really say that I'm conversant with, especially those parts that weren't in the SSCE curricula those days in high school.

Now, I want to start swotting up on some of those parts but there is a snag -- The version of the bible to use given that some authors have in the course of translating same made it lose the original and intended meaning.
So I would want you to recommend a good version to your mind.
Thanks...
