Soloblincus: My friend, those people u mentioned achieved dose tins in nig while se conquered africa.Your post is diffuse |
Acidosis: Can you pls bring out the truth in his statement..you cant argue with this. The guy said that the school is meant for most people that have low jamb scores --- which i said was blanket but has vestiges of truth. It is akin to saying that poly is meant for people who couldnt make it to the uni. |
Acidosis: shattap there!!! oga-na-me-carry-jamb- for-head-with-400/400-score...the guy's statement was somewhat blanket but has vestiges of truth in it and as such shoudnt be discountet as speccious like you just did. |
metti: I don't know what is special about this so called Covenant University?Yea. But whether or not indecency is justified should be a religious issue that should be divorced from what colleges should regulate especially when adults are involved. Gosh! It's akin to making legislations criminalizing atheism. |
phapi: thumbs up........r u a lawyer or u r one in d making, cos ya obsveration is duely what it suppose to be........LAW WAT A WAY OF LIFEhides my face, All these auto correct nawao, it makes ones sentences senseless at times. Imagine I wrote 'a terminological boob --- bo.ob which is synonymous with mistake. The auto correct changed it to 'bosom', thus making the sentence useless. |
This is a very interesting case that will likely reach the supreme court. The judge's remark already shows the likely outcome of the case. Lets wait as it unfolds... |
the_ripper: Fallacy of irrelevant grounds, was he d only one expelled? It is a law and he defaulted. Ever heard the maxim, "when u are in rome, u behave like a roman"?tripe and gibberish. Besides, what constitutes indecent films remains uncertain and relative. |
Yomieluv: Am not in support of the expulsion of the student, but I know the student is aware of the consequence of such act,if you can't live by simple rule,I see no reason for going to such school, when there's law, then there's a sin. There are other schools to go,if you can't cope with simple basic instruction.what rule, the rule is prima facie preposterous and asinine |
binger: This guy is fighting a losing battle...there is no way he'll be 'compensated' nor taken back after the expulsion.your conclusion is ill conceived and grossly unfounded. |
The prosecuting counsel? in a civil matter? That's a terminological boob. It should have been something like -- counsel to the plaintiff... |
deb: Life they say is not fair. Football touches the emotion of many unlike those other professions.i can't figure out how it does that |
''Italian ladies'' and what? gosh! i thought it wanted to talk about white ladies etc... People should learn to couch headlines in such a way that they aptly reflect the content of the topic. This will inter alia help in saving the time of the netizen or surfer and also allow him the option of efficiently deciding which topic to click or otherwise. Leaving a thread like this makes no roon for specifity. At any rate, gratifying that you are sui generis, it is. One must follow the crowd and has got to dissociate oneself from the majority which can sometimes be foolish. Bodacious success in your endeavours. |
fairyprincess: @xtr0v3rtAudi alteram what? Save us that legal platitude as it inapplicable and inapt here... |
jbloggs: This indicates that the Police are becoming helpful in terms of car recovery.this is the apogee of fallacy as that inference about the police cannot be logically made. There are usually too many imponderables in this kind of situation. |
That female lawyers or lawyers generally argue a lot is moot and relative. I know many of them that can make stellar and enviable wives. But it appears that the majority of them that i said can make good wives seem to have a tthing in common---- they fear God, an attribute that seems indispesable and has helped to tame them in such a away that they can strike a balance between being a persons's wife and at being a lawyer equally. |
This is the most asinine and daft rambling post i have ever read here. In fact the converse is the opposite in alost all the cases. Call a girl 2 to 3 times? I mean she should have space. Or do you want to smother her? This must have issued from a juvenile. Gosh! |
kinggenesis: Just send BSM to 141 and that's all. Note that you will be charged #1200ok thanks |
@ALL, how can i use airtel BIS on NOkia E6? |
deb: Life they say is not fair. Football touches the emotion of many unlike those other professions.not about fairness. |
enlady: @ poster, sorry o. Just make plans to play football from kindergaten in your next life! |
enlady: @ poster, sorry o. Just make plans to play football from kindergaten in your next life!Stop being evasive. Who is talking about playing football or not? |
I am no football aficionado but was particularly stoked by Eagles' victory. I was equally excited that the government and philanthropists like Dangote appreciated them for making us proud. However, at a time in the continnum, the appreciation and attention became excessive when compared with that we give to achievers in other fields of human endeavour like education. We have indubitably relegated these other areas to the background. For instane, lately, the best student in WAEC exams was given 40,000 naira. Such paltry pittance, though laudable, cannot constitute enough incentive for other students to aim at such feat. The best Nigerian Law School student in October 2010 was Mr. Chinedu Victor Okpala. While conferring with him, I learnt that he was given only a plaque with no farthing attached to it. Were this kind of feat to be achieved by someone in entertainment or other field, he would have been handsomely rewarded. MTN. GLO and ETISALAT would have made him an ambassador. My stance shouln't be miscontrued. It was apt and felicitous that the Eagles were rewarded. But I think the thing is becoming excessively overmuch with millions, houses, renaming of stadium etc. I think this kind of incentive should be put in other sectors for 'virtu media stat'. |
akom0908: To the girls,do you like tall slim guys (6ft - 6ft 2inch)or they look like shlt to you.Your view about this.Only girls are allowedyou must be a neophte and a stripling. It is deductible from your puerile questions. |

stagger: Not surprised that it is a Kano man spearheading this attempt to take us back to the stone age. How many trees have to keep getting cut down to produce paper for more than 300,000 JAMB candidates a year?Tripe and rubbish. We are talking about feasibility here. Nobody said they shouldnt do that but let them have the facility first or do you want a situation where many will not see their results. |
