Waiting for him to step down... he's not talking like someone who intends to step down.

The second stanza of the anthem was amazing. Emmanuel Precious is the guy. |
Wet dreams are normal. It's a pity that religion can cause a person so much pain and suffering over an experience that is totally normal. |
Fellow Nairalanders, We have just fixed a bug that prevented many people from logging on to Nairaland and posting or uploading content. This bug was created and fixed this afternoon after we received many complaints. If you've noticed some irregularities when you tried to login or post, please try again. Best regards, Seun Osewa |
HALCYON44:We have tried a bad man (a former military dictator and tribal bigot) for the last 7 years and we have suffered. Let us try a good man biko. The reason for the sudden emergence of PYO for the office of the president is because the northern folks knows it's the turn of the south and they need a South man which they can control to occupy the position because they are scared of BAT.Tinubu is too old for the job. This is a job that turns young men into old men. The job that killed Yar'adua. Let's pick someone who is vibrant. |
Perfectbeing:Citizens can cope with adversity if they can see that their leaders are doing their best to deal with the situation and they are kept informed. Some of the greatest presidents of history achieved their popularity during times of war. Look at Zelenskyy. His approval rating is so high despite the fact that people are dying everyday because Ukrainians can see that he's doing everything that can be done. The reason GEJ was kicked out in 2015 is that he didn't really seem to care about Boko Haram. He didn't demonstrate that he was determined to defeat them. America refused to sell us weapons over human rights violations and instead of complying with their demands, he was making excuses. Look at Soludo. He is doing everything possible to tackle the unknown gunmen. He went to Abuja to meet Kanu just for the sake of peace. |
On vice president Yemi Osinbajo's way to the Airport, en-route to Owo, Ondo State on a condolence visit, his convoy stopped to assist the lone victim of a car accident, who has been transported to Airforce Base Hospital. The vice president's security and medical teams assisted in removing the victim from the crushed vehicle resulting from a somersault, and transported patient to Airforce base hospital. It was a solo accident. The car had summersaulted on the opposite lane and was impaled on a tree. Here are some pictures from the incident:

If US enters recession, it would be by choice. Biden should probably have replaced Trump's appointee with a real Economist. Recession is worse than inflation. |
yahoosurepass:A plot that could be easily foiled by Peter Obi. |
They didn't chase the military out of Abia State. And sadly, the military is needed in that region. |
SeriouslySense:She will file for bankruptcy and find a rich old man to finance her glamorous lifestyle. She will get low profile acting gigs from time to time. |
emekachief:Is your mother a parasite? Someone that carried you inside her body, fed you, changed your stinking diapers every day is a parasite? Really? |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=69CQQ9m2cg4 I've just watched the verdict from the Johnny Depp vs Amber Heard defamation case. Johnny Depp was awarded 10 million dollars in compensatory damages and 5 million dollars in punitive damages against Amber Heard. Amber Heard was awarded 2 million dollars in compensatory damages and 0 dollars in punitive damages against Johnny Depp. So basically, Amber Heard lost the case and will need to pay chukwukadibia20:

Episode 3 is out. Beware of spoilers below. GloriousGbola:I think the second sister might be the chinese looking Inquisitor. The black one is definitely the third sister:
|
philiancoop:He's a lawyer, not an economist. He should never have been in charge of the economic team. If he is elected as president he will hopefully appoint an experienced Economist of the caliber of Okonjo-Iweala, Soludo, Moghalu, or A. Adesina to head his economic team. Even so, his performance in the economic team would have been better if he was working for a president who actually listened to economic advisors. I'm excited to see what Osinbajo will do for our criminal justice system and armed forces. We've seen a few glimpses of what he would be like. His sacking of the DSS chief for disrespecting the National Assembly. His recommendation that Abba Kyari should be sacked long before he was discovered to be an errand boy of scammers and a cocaine dealer. Blocking Amaechi's suspicious train security contract. |
GloriousGbola:The extended universe is essentially fan fiction, so I find it hard to pretend that it's all part of one coherent story. I like Ahsoka a lot though. Allow me to present the second sisterThe character in Obi Wan Kenobi is actually the third sister, not the second sister. |
When I heard that there was a show about Obi-Wan Kenobi starred by Ewan McGregor, the same actor who played him in the prequels, I knew I had to watch it because Obi-Wan Kenobi is the 'heart' of Star Wars. I've watched the first two episodes of this show; they were pretty good. It was hard for me to understand why the black inquisitor who was obviously powerful had such a fresh face compared to the others. I couldn't see her as anything other than "cute" until she uttered the words "your fear betrays you". Then I was like, "ok, she's Sith. I believe her." I have to say that the show is a solid 7/10. Many Star Wars shows have featured characters who aren't central to the story, like the Mandalorian. This show features characters that we know and love and care about. Obi-Wan, Anakim, Leah, Luke, etc., So it should be more engaging. There are a few points in the story where characters acted unwisely to drive the story forward, but they didn't stop me from enjoying the show. |
There are two IPOBS now. One of them announced extra days as stay at home in addition to the one officially announced by IPOB. We need to distinguish between them. |

Atiku wins with 371 votes ahead of Wike with 237 votes. |
fergie001:I believe that Wike just got 237 votes |
Atiku will win this thing o. PDP delegates are cash and carry. The most generous candidates, Atiku and Wike, have the most delegates. |
Gov Aminu Tambuwal just resigned and endorsed Atiku.
|
Getting ready to vote

This guy...
|
Brave lady.
|
Dele Momodu wants us to vote for Atiku. He said that he has "achieved" his dream to run for presidency. Then he mentioned Atiku tactically, praising him without outrightly asking the delegates to vote for Atiku. |
I am so confused. |
