In Lagos State, we refer to them as "touts".
In Port Harcourt, they are "militants".
In Abia State, they are called "youths".
In developed countries, they are called "criminals". Pity.

Career › Re: Sleep With My Boss Or My Resignation? by Seun(mod): 8:44pm On Sep 22, 2007
Its easy to say drop your resignation, (integrity stuff). But do you know if your boss wants it badly, he can really frustrate the lady to the point of surrender?
This makes no sense. How can the boss intimidate the lady "to the point of surrender" after she has resigned?
Gaming › Re: Halo 3 Is Here! by Seun(mod): 6:52pm On Sep 22, 2007
Halo 1 and Halo 2 were simply the best first person shooter games I'd ever played.
Too bad you don't like the genre, but it's the best of them. It's so much fun to play.
I don't expect Halo 3 to be much greater than the earlier ones, but I hope the story is wrapped up!

(It's like someone who doesn't like romantic movies asking "what's so great about Titanic?"wink
Romance › Re: Bad Wife, Poverty Or Hell: Which Do You Fear Most? by Seun(mod): 6:40pm On Sep 22, 2007
I fear poverty more than the rest. If you are poor, your 'good wife' will turn 'bad'. Hell is just someone's fantasy.

Culture › Re: Where Are You From? by Seun(mod): 6:34pm On Sep 22, 2007
I'm from Osun State. Actually, I've been in Ogun State all my life, but my parents are from Osun State. Hmmm, actually, my parents claim to be from Osun State because their parents are from there. It's really silly for anyone to claim to be from a particular region because your great ancestors were from somewhere else!
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: The Pains That Nigerians Unemployed Graduates Are Passing Through by Seun(mod): 6:31pm On Sep 22, 2007

However, I sympathize with your current predicament and I hope you start your own business soon. wink

Religion isn't really the cause of the trouble in the world. Most of the discord in the world is caused by prejudice, ignorance, and stupidity. Religion is merely a tool that is used to justify all these bad things.

Why are you living in a place you hate so much? Personally, I hate living next door to parents that regularly serve their children with brutality in the name of discipline. "Mummy please, please, kpa kpa kp!" every day.

Career › Re: My German Boss Wants Me In Bed by Seun(mod): 8:00pm On Sep 21, 2007
So sorry about your situation. You know what to do: start looking for another job.
Since you are not a prostitute, that is your only option. Embrace it and start acting now.
But you really don't need to resign. Just increase your productivity if given the chance.
And when you get a job offer somewhere else, embrace it immediately. Sorry about this!
Christianity Etc › Re: Senator Sues God Over Natural Disasters by Seun(mod): 5:46pm On Sep 21, 2007
Our God-given free will leads us to sin, which makes God angry,
which leads to natural disasters, which is all our fault, of course.

Why hasn't she resigned, anyway? The funniest thing is that she hasn't even been there for long.
