mr swagger: Hello house, I greet u all. I just got accepted to my school in US for the fall 2013 resumption.

I will be receiving my I-20 soon.

My sponsor wants to contact someone he knows in the US to help me pay my Sevis fee.

Please I will like to know what are the steps for him to pay the Sevis fee for me in US and who and where does he pay to?

What are the necessary requirements?

Are we paying the Sevis fee to the school or to the Embassy?

Please help me on this because I have never done this before and I don't want to make any silly mistakes.

I have researched the previous threads on nairaland but everyone is talking about paying sevis in Ecobank in Cotonou, no one is talking about the procedures to paying it in the US.

If possible post the link of the website so I could get the full details on paying the Sevis fee in US

Thanks guys. Waiting for your anticipated response.
This is their website: www.fmjfee.com you will find all d details of what you need to send to the person paying for you like ur sevis no, school code etc

Dunno if i have answered your question Sir 'coz i am a learner myself!
grin grin i can't stop laughing, i think he just need to get another admission in a more standard school and i also think he got denied on the basis of him saying he applied to just 1 school in America shocked and 2 in uk and 1 in 9ja. The Vo might tink he has other options, thinking is not really serious about studying in US

Yvete: Proud of ya! grin
Anyways, NCTC is a good start. Though its a 100% commuter campus, small town, nothing going on, but its cheaper for starters compared to HCCS. After a semester there, you should be able to decide to come out to Houston or anywhere else in the US.
Hey, if you need help with finding accomodation or mobility around town, I can introduce you to a couple of Nigerians to help out. Holla when you get here!
Thanks godmother cheesy grin. I know i can always count on you, i will surely do that, thanks once again.

Yvete: @Smith: Have a seat!

@Seunbunmi: Ready yet? grin
Yes I'm fully ready cheesy. I've decided to transfer to NCTC. My fall i-20 is ready from Murray, normally they are suppose to send it to me through UPS but they said they have new policy that i have to pay for fedex for the shipping which fedex is charging me 120dollars huh. I will pay that today and start NCTC application.

slimmy05: you can send it Via Nipost, they are reliable now, or better still if you have enough cash, you can do that via UPS or fedex. But you can try the post office inside the international airport, lagos.

=Anthonymighty]Well I believe something can be done concerning the 8 yrs gap. I had similar issues during my visa seeking time too. I finished 2003 and I got my visa last year december. All you need do is to think of something tangeable and not just some computer school crap because they have heard it severally. In my own case I told the VO after I finished in 2003, I went a computer diploma course and worked with it before I went for my OND + IT which lasted for 3 years instead of 2 due to our bad educational system affected by strike and the likes. (U must show proves at this stage) and other certificates + voluntary work you can think off. Tell her to Just be smart and wise. And eliminate fear. Once you and the interviewer establish a good start and chat, he might end up not asking you for proves, once you tell him things to cover the gap. That's how I scaled thru. Cheers.

I had similar situation too lst year n I was given my visa too against all odd. Her work experience might also help, tellin d vo tat gettin a degree now will help her take up managerial position in d organisation where she works and d God factor can help her scale thRough....Anthonymighty summer is around d corner, wen u dey enter ilu nla?[/quote]

Yvete: Uncle SeunBunmi cheesy As a student, you qualify to attend the try-outs for any sports. Age is not a factor. Be mindful that we cannot eat our cake and have it. Most CC no get sports team grin HCCS & DCCS have decent soccer and basketball teams. While you're trying to be the next Micheal Jordan for tuition purposes, look into other sports like swimming lolz. By the way, how tall are you??

Some opportunities that we may have missed are better left to posterity (and perhaps beyond) to grasp. Seems like you're coming for summer school. I'll send you an email later today. **Sleepy-eyed* need some Zzzzz'z
grin grin grin am like 6:4 tall cheesy cheesy..okay ma, will be expectin ur mail
