PhonesHow To Trace And Recover Your Stolen Mobile Phone. by Seuncoded(op): 6:05pm On Aug 03, 2015
If you lose your mobile you can trace it back.
Most of us always fear that our Mobile may be stolen at any time.

Each mobile carries a unique IMEI no. i.e. International Mobile Equipment Identity No which can be used to track your mobile anywhere in the world.

This is how it works!!
1. Dial *#06# from your mobile.
2. Your mobile shows a unique 15 digit.
3. Note down this number at a secure place except in your mobile phone itself as this is the Number which will help trace your mobile in Case of a theft.
4. Once stolen you just have to E-mail this 15 digit IMEI No. to cop@vsnl.net with details as below.
Your name:____________________
Address:______________________
Phone model:_________________
Make:_________________________
Last used No.:_________________
E-mail for communication:_____
Missed date:___________________
IMEI No :_______________________

PoliticsOoni: Anxiety Heightens As Oro Festival Begins In Ife by Seuncoded(op): 7:09am On Aug 01, 2015
The anxiety surrounding the demise of the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, has continued to heighten as worshippers of Oro began the annual festival in the ancient town on Friday night.

Oro is a deity worshipped across Yoruba land, which forbids the womenfolk from going outdoors in the night during the period of its festival.

Although, sources in Ife told our correspondent that the festival, scheduled to commence on Friday night had nothing to do with the demise of the Ooni, the public believe otherwise.

The sources, however, insisted that the festival, which would last for seven nights, should not be mistaken for the commencement of the rites of passage of the Ooni.

They also insisted that the Ooni was still alive, contrary to the media reports that the monarch died in the United Kingdom.

Although some youths interviewed by our correspondent said they were not aware of the festival, they said the festival would force everybody to remain indoors at night throughout the seven- day period.

A former Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Osun State, Mr. Sikiru Ayedun, confirmed to our correspondent that the festival would start on Friday night.

Ayedun, who is from Ife, said, “Yes, Oro will start tonight (Friday). But it has nothing to do with the rumour of the death of Baba (Ooni).

“It is an annual festival and it holds around this time. So, it has nothing to do with the rumour in town.”

The news of the death of the Ooni was reported by the media on Wednesday, but the 16 chiefs, known as the Royal Traditional Council of the palace, led by the Lowa of Ife, Oba Joseph Ijaodola, debunked the news.

The Lowa also led the chiefs to announce to Governor Rauf Aregbesola on Thursday that the monarch was alive and not dead.

HealthNursing Mothers Should Be Granted 6 Months Maternity Leave - Lagos State Urges by Seuncoded(op): 5:55pm On Jul 31, 2015
n a bid to promote healthy living, the Lagos state government has called for support from employers and co-workers in terms of positive attitude towards motherhood and breastfeeding for successful breastfeeding practice by women in the work setting.

This was revealed by the Permanent Secretary, Lagos State Ministry of Health, Dr. Modele Osunkiyesi at a briefing signaling the commencement of Breastfeeding Week Celebration in Lagos.

Osunkiyesi noted that job security and non-discrimination on the ground of maternity and breastfeeding should be encouraged by employers.

According to her, the promotion and success of exclusive breastfeeding for the first six months of life without any other additives requires the collective support of all including employers of labour, community and religious leaders and associations for the breastfeeding mothers.

She added that the 2015 breastfeeding week seeks to engage with target groups’ like Trade Unions, Workers Rights Organisations and women’s groups to protect the breastfeeding rights of women in the workplace.

She further advocated 6 months paid maternity leave to support exclusive breastfeeding in systems where the maternity leave is less than 3 months and flexible or daily reduction of working hours for working mothers to ensure un-interrupted breastfeeding.

She pointed out that space element seeks to advocate for the provision of a designated environmentally friendly space or place at or near the work place for infant and child feeding.

Osunkiyesi further stated that the rationale behind the political will for baby friendly policies as practiced by the state government was as a result of the realisation that breastfeeding is the most cost beneficial investment in child survival and development strategies.

According to her,

“Lagos State Government has taken the lead in the actualization of baby friendly policies for women in her workforce by institutionalizing a six months Maternity Leave for all nursing female workers for first two births. In like manner, the State Government also approved Paternity Leave of two weeks for all working fathers in its employ in realization of the need for psychological support for nursing mothers”.

Romance5 Reasons Why Sex Is WYGIWYG (what You Give Is What You Get) by Seuncoded(op): 12:06am On Jul 31, 2015
Geeks are familiar with the acronym ‘WYSIWYG (WIZ-ee-wig).’

It stands for “What You See Is What You Get”, meaning, when you a certain kind of editor for text and graphics, the final product will look more or less the same, be it on a printed document or web page.

Now, when it comes to sex, there is a slight difference where it becomes ‘WYGIWYG’ “What You Give Is What You Get”.

What this implies is that who, where or when you have sex is not as important as how you go about it – it then means that you get out as much as you give and the person you are with is not as important as how you handle the sexual experience.

How?

It takes two to tango. Have you ever heard that phrase? Well, it is true for the bedroom too. You cannot just get naked on the bed and expect your partner to do all the work. You must work together as a team. When your partner sees the complementary responses, he or she will go the extra mile.

Everything you do during sex is a feedback. Action speaks louder than words is not just a phrase. Do you know that body language says a lot? So when you are in bed, saying nothing, but acting in a certain way, you already have given a feedback. For example, spitting often can mean you find your partner disgusting. Also, keeping a straight face and moving mechanically may mean you’re just having sex for the sake of it. So ensure you give positive vibes and your partner will be encouraged to give more.

Sex is more of emotions than actions. Many people focus more on the physical aspects of sex than the emotional. This is wrong because even casual lovers want to see the desire, at least for the duration of the sex. Acting like a mechanized robot that moves only by instructions won’t encourage your partner at all.

You can achieve more sexually together than individually. Two heads are better than one will mean two lovers are better than one in the sex circles. This means that you are going to derive more pleasure from doing things to each other simultaneously than waiting to receive alone. How? Positions like 69 allow give-and-take MouthAction. Also complementary positions like the cowgirl/missionary alternated will leave you both satisfied.

Sexual adventures/fantasies are better shared. Two in the dark is better than one. Yes, when lovers experiment on shared sexual fantasies, they seem to enjoy it more. Talk about what you would have loved to do, however unconventional, and activate it – together.

Remember, What You Give Is What You Get!

You cannot expect to have the wonderful bedroom experience and not be willing to give yourself entirely.

It is either you have sex or not.

PoliticsOoni: Aregbesola, Ife Chiefs Meet In Oshogbo by Seuncoded(op): 7:31pm On Jul 30, 2015
The Royal Traditional Council of Ife, on Thursday, met Governor Rauf Aregbesola briefly behind closed-doors at the Government House.

The delegates first told the governor in the presence of some journalists that the Ooni of Ife, Oba Okunade Sijuwade, was alive contrary to the news in the media.

The details of the brief meeting held behind closed-doors were not made available to journalists. The chiefs, led by the Lowa of Ife, Oba Joseph Ijaodola, had earlier said it was regrettable that the Ooni was always a target of negative publicity in the media.

Some prominent indigenes of Ife, who are members of the ruling All Progressives Congress, were present at the meeting.

They are: Senator Babajide Omoworare; immediate past Commissioner for Culture and Tourism, Mr. Sikiru Ayedun; a former member of Osun State House of Assembly, Mr. Adetilewa Sijuade and a former Special Adviser to the Governor on Youth and Sports, Mr. Biyi Odunlade.

The Lowa of Ife said, “We were all shocked when we heard the rumour of baba’s death. If at all such an incident had occurred, the Traditional Council would be the first to know and equally break the news to the entire public.

“Sixteen of us are his chiefs and when he was travelling out, he didn’t look like he was going to die and should that have happened to him, we would have been informed even before anyone would hear about it. We pray that Ooni Sijuade will live long in good health.”

Aregbesola thanked the chiefs for holding forth the monarch’s domain while he was away and he prayed God to give the monarch long life in good health.

Meanwhile, the palace of the Ooni looked deserted on Thursday when our corespondent visited the place.

There was no crowd nor the hordes of okada riders who had gathered at the entrance of the palace on Wednesday when newspapers broke the news of the Ooni’s death.

While visitors to the palace including journalists were not allowed to go beyond the first court which houses the press centre, the Emese’s court and the police station, some chiefs who visited the palace were seen going inside the inner part of the palace.

A palace source, who spoke to our correspondent, said the rebuttal of the news of the Ooni’s death by the RTC was in order.
The source said although the monarch had passed away, the procedure for breaking such big news must be followed.

He said, ” The Traditional Council did a good job. They tried as much as they can to ensure that things are done the way they should be done.

“Although they may not be able to do all those things the same way they were done about 100 years ago, there must be a semblance of it. He was not just an ordinary person, so the announcement of his death must follow the due process.

” The news quickly filtered out because it happened outside the country. Nobody would have known except some very few persons if he had died right inside the palace.

” You know that the same thing happened to one of the foremost Obas in the country ( name withheld) , it is almost two months now and they have not announced it officially. But the Ooni passed away outside the country, so it is difficult to manage the situation, but the chiefs did what is expected of them.”

Asked when the corpse of the departed monarch is expected to be brought back in the country, the source declined comment.

CrimeFake Medical Student Arrested At Korle Bu by Seuncoded(op): 7:04pm On Jul 30, 2015

A 25-year-old unemployed man was yesterday arrested for allegedly posing as a medical student doing his housemanship at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra.

The fake doctor, identified as Ibrahim Nurudeen, was arrested while he was in an apparel with an embroidery of the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital logo on it and was busy attending to patients at the Surgical Block of the hospital.

About 10 a.m. yesterday, a source at the hospital said, private security personnel at the facility who had been monitoring Nurudeen’s movements for the past one month approached and arrested him when they found out that he was not a medical student.

The source said Nurudeen had, for the past one month, been seen at the Surgical Block, sometimes attending to patients or sitting busily behind his laptop.

“He usually chats with personnel at the wards and the security post and is very friendly,” it said.

The source said the security personnel were put on high alert when the workers at the Surgical Block started reporting of missing money, laptops and mobile phones.

“This morning, one of the security personnel approached Nurudeen while he was moving from one ward to another and was using the lift to the fifth floor. The security man asked him if he was a medical student and he answered in the affirmative, but he could not produce his identification card when he was asked to do so,” it said.

When the security personnel asked him to follow them to the Administration Block, Nurudeen pleaded with them to let him go, as he was not a medical student as earlier claimed.

Before he was handed over to the Korle Bu Police, Nurudeen broke down in tears and told the Daily Graphic that he had graduated from the University of Ghana in 2013 with a degree in Agriculture.

“I have been unemployed since, but since I had always had a passion for medicine, I felt like practising it to have a feel of it,” said Nurudeen, who claimed to have obtained his apparel from a friend whom he failed to name.

“I am really disappointed in myself. I am sorry,” he said.

HealthUniversity Of Ilorin Teaching Hospital Performs Record-breaking Open-heart Surge by Seuncoded(op): 6:11pm On Jul 30, 2015
The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital has recorded a first following their performance of the first open heart surgery.

This was made known by the institution's Chief Medical Director, Prof. Abdulwaheed Olatinwo who addressed news men.

According to Olatinwo, the feat achieved 48 hours ago was carried out by a team of surgeons led by Dr Neville Solomon of Apollo Hospitals Chennai, India.

He stated that Solomon was a world renowned cardiac surgeon who performs over 3, 000 heart surgeries free around the world in a year.

Olatinwo added that the Teaching Hospital has now joined the league of three or four other teaching hospitals that can perform Open Heart Surgery in the country.

The strategic partnership, according to Olatinwo, was of two benefits - exposing patients to the highest quality of surgical care comparable to that which is obtainable anywhere in the world and the facilitation of skills transfer to the Teaching Hospital’s cardiac care team so that they could carry out subsequent surgeries.

He further said the goal was to make UITH a one-stop shop for all medical solutions.

Olatinwo said that each of the two heart surgeries cost N1. 8 million, the hospital paid 72% while the patient paid the remaining 25%, adding that a lot of financial investment was required to sustain the new phase of clinical care in the hospital.

He also appealed to the government at all levels, public-spirited individuals and corporate organisations to partner with the UITH to fully equip our cardiac centre to include Cardiac catheterisation lab.

According to him, the hospital which was established in 1980, recorded its first kidney transplant in 2012 becoming one of the eight other hospitals rendering such advanced services in the country.

“We also commenced the Assistant Reproductive Technology (ART) programme which has yielded five babies (through IVF and ICSI) with four ongoing pregnancies including a set of triplets,’’ he added.

Finally, Olatinwo said the hospital had established and strengthened the pain and palliative care unit, which he said, was a composite aspect of quality tertiary care everywhere in the world.
