This is exactly what I think, Churchill is the only one that behaved maturely for now i don't know tomorrow but all others messed up especially Toke makinwa it is obvious she sees it as avenue to paint someone as devil just to make money and discourage other women from giving their men a second chance just because her own was messed up. Some times too holy people like op potrays God has selfish, unreasonable and chaos God. Thanks to thought like this, atheist and other Poeple who challenge God has more power. How can you say somebody who sacrifices his selfish need, his flesh and pain just to do the right thing which the society needs to be peaceful and livable for all Will be thrown into hell fire and the opposite will go to heaven. God gave a rule, obey it. If our pastors use it to satisfy selfish needs, God is the judge. You pay tax whether the government Channels your tax to the right thing or embezzles it. It doesn't stop you from paying tax because it's a law. Same goes with tithe paying.

But the rule of God did not specify that you must pay it to pastor, it says the levite, the fatherless, the widow and the stranger. In a nutshell, all this group has equal and same right to it.
Why give it to pastor only?

You are right but I don't think she is talking about everyman she sees but her male friend.

The common home training and courtesy has been twisted, what is the big deal if you cook in your male friend's home provided him and yourself are both comfortable with it. One thing I v noticed is that due to increase laziness, decline in culture and increase in gender egocentrism, norms has been termed bad.

I remember when I was in school, I lived off campus and I remember that most ladies that lived in same compound with us cooked for the guys while the guys took care of normal boys stuff in the compound but what do we have today, even wife finds it difficult to cook for their husband at home and generation of lazy set of Poeple finds ways to condem anybody that still has that sense of courtesy in herself.

I must say i am a lucky and hard working girl.I finished my Bsc dec 2014,took my cert 2015.I got a job after an interview with an electricity distribution company in 2016 with the help of my aunt who happens to have the power as the HR.Am not upto 6months in the company.Which is the due time for our comfirmation.Now,i have another job offer from a commercial bank in Nigeria to be paid up to 80k.Now am confused cos i have alot of plans i need money to execute.Working in a financial institution will hasten my plans of travelling out of the country with work permit as an accountant.It will also get me more experience. Leaving this current job that pays lesser,my aunt's dissappointment,and the pressure employees of commercial banks faces recently is worrying.Although my aunt promised me a better position with accounting dept after 6months.I need constuctive advice.I dont want to make mistake thinking am wise.

Pls don't quit that reliable job for unreliable bank job.
If you check the bank that want to employ u now, u will noticed they disengaged some staff few months ago for cost cutting reasons, they will soon disengage you as well for cost cutting reason when your pay rises.

It is even better to be self employed than to be employed by bank except if it is this old generation bank that I will not mention their name. Any other bank you are on your own.

Stay where your anuty has power, your interest is protected and what u will even benefit is far more than what any bank can give u.

I wish I could talk to you directly so as not to make the biggest mistake of your life by dumping that job for unreliable banking job. The ball is in your court and half truth is enough for a wise. Goodluck to you.

God!!! Why is it difficult to do business with average Nigerian based on trust without having issues?
From my experience I v noticed you have to be at high alert whenever you are transacting business deal with a Nigerian even if he or she is your friend. God will safe us.

At the bold, I wonder o, we Nigerians just like this operesive mentality, some times I see advert saying servant quarters, maid's room etc, what differenciates it from usual boys quarter baffles me.

Once in a while, it is good to preach the gospel in wealth, atleast you must prove that what u are telling me is good must be good for u also.
The only time I frawn at it is when pastors makes money making their priority and do everything by all means to get money.

I believe if u know God first with your whole heart without hidden agenda, all other things including money, good health, favour, eternal life shall be added unto it.
