Mum is the greatest being I ever known, even though she died when she was about to reap the benefis her labour.
I wish the woman I will marry will be like my mother, selfless, progressive, independent in humble manner and loyal.

She single handedly trained 4 children, 5 of her siblings, 50 relatives to university level with just her nursing work.

Thank God for my mother.

Becarefull of the lawyer u will hand it over to, when it comes to money, trust no one. The lawyer can even be worse than your tenant.

My advice, walk up to few land lands in your area, find out the best lawyer in ur environment b4 you commit your self.

I hope u have mother who is a bit older, I suggest u let her handle that matter while she reports back to you.

Op I warn you, be very careful of d lawyer you hand over to, an average Nigerian is still A Nigerian when it comes to money.

Pls don't get me wrong, there are many Nigerians that are very good and trust worthy but be very careful.

I try as much as I can to be good and this man is trying as much as he can to take advantage of me, what do i do? Change or continue being good and get trampled upon?
I happen to be a very young landlord by circumstance ie i inherited a property from my late dad let me hold it here.
Now there is this man i rented a one bedroom apartment to, and being that i'm young maybe he thinks i don't know the value of money he chooses to pay it in instalment, imagine him paying 1yr rent of 80k in a period of 5mounts, now the problem is i was adviced to hand over the property to a lawyer, the man has been intimidating me as to why i had to do such a thing.
Pls ur candid opinion.

Not everyone can afford to eat with that much on a daily basis. A lower amount between N150-N300 is more likely for most. And that's the reality of many.

That was why I said average, I know some consume N10k per day while some is N200 per day.

Wow i guess he has to go see things for himself. Someone recommended Jahi. But light and water is priority. I think they have a staff bus, so the route the bus takes will also be a factor. If he can get a good place for 300k. I think i can help with the extra 50. After a year. He should have settled down enough to move or stay wherever he likes.

The popular staff bus routes are Satalite towns that is where most civil servants stays, in that case I recommend kubwa. However I think he may get self-contained at 300k around zones but he may not like it.

The trick is some house inside town are not fancy and comfortable but expensive while Satalite towns have beautiful houses but cheap.
It all depends on choice.

So let him come, linked him with couples of agents and he will make his choice.

Your brother's best bet with that budget is Satalite towns, I prefer kubwa and Dawaki for him. He will spend just 200naira from kubwa to office per trip making it 400naira per day. Dawaki is a little bit closer.

If he want to stay inside town with that budget, he will probably get in lokogama, Apo ressetlement probably life camp which is a bit far.

If he doesn't mind some villages inside town, he can get in Jahi, kado and durumi village.

It depends on ur brother's taste and preference.

Are u sure he can get self-contained at 250 in zone 3 or zone 2? I doubt it.
