Life Benefits of Time Management Time

management means staying on top of your time, life, and activities.

It shouldn’t take extreme effort, but it does require discipline.

However, the benefits of time management far outweigh the work required.

Here are 10 Life Benefits of Time Management:

1. ''Less Stress'' – Managing your time can directly reduce your stress level. Fewer surprises. Fewer tight deadlines. Less rushing from task-to-task and place-to-place.

2. ''Get More Done'' – Of course, being productive is one of the main goals of time management. When you are aware of what you need to do, you are able to better manage your workload. You will be able to get more (of the right tasks) done in less time.

3. ''Less Rework'' – Being organized results in less rework and mistakes. Forgotten items, details, and instructions lead to extra work. How often do you have to do a task more than once? Or make an extra trip because you forget something?

4. ''Less Life Friction and Problems'' – How often do you create your own problems ? Whether it is a forgotten appointment or missed deadline, not managing your time results in increased life friction. Avoid creating your own problems by planning and preparing for your day.

5. ''More Free Time'' – We can’t create more time, but you can make better use of it by managing your time. Even simple actions like shifting your commute or getting your work done early can produce more leisure time in your life.

6. ''Less Wasted Time'' – When you know what you need to do, you waste less time in idle activities. Instead of wondering what you should be doing next, you can already be a step ahead of your work.

7.'' More Opportunities'' – Being on top of your time and work produces more opportunities. The early bird always has more options. As well, luck favors the prepared .

8. ''Improves Your Reputation'' – Your time management reputation will proceed you. At work and in life you will be known as reliable. No one is going to question whether you are going to show up, do what you say you are going to do, or meet that deadline.

9. ''Less Effort'' – A common misconception is that time management takes extra effort. To the contrary, proper time management makes your life easier. Things take less effort, whether it is packing for that trip or finishing up that project.

10. ''More Time Where it Matters'' – Managing your time is allotting your time where it has the most impact. Time management allows you to spend your time on the things that matter most to you. Manage Your Time, Improve Your Life Time management is all about spending your time in the right places, and on the right things. It’s about knowing your priorities, obligations, and schedule. When you manage your time, you
benefit in all areas of life.

REMARK: Manage Your Time, Improve Your Life Time management is all about spending your time in the right places, and on the right things. It’s about knowing your priorities, obligations, and schedule. When you manage your time, you benefit in all areas of life.

MATCH PREWIEW

>> Louis van Gaal has urged his
Manchester United side to take
their positive reaction to FA Cup
defeat into the "rat race" for the
Barclays Premier League's top
four, starting Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

United's last hope of silverware
this season ended on Monday as
Danny Welbeck returned to haunt
his former employers with the
winning goal in a 2-1 triumph that
sent holders Arsenal into the FA Cup semi-finals.

That was only
United's second defeat in their
past 11 matches in all competitions
and followed back-to-back league
victories over Sunderland and
Newcastle United.

Rather than be downbeat about
United's chances of clinching a
top-four berth, manager Van Gaal
has seen a good reaction in
training.

But the Dutchman is
aware of the need to maintain momentum in the league with just
five points separating third-placed
Arsenal and Southampton in
seventh, with Sunday’s opponents
lying in sixth.

"I have the same confidence [of
reaching the top four] as before,"
he said. "I'm very pleased with the
reaction and I hope we can show
that against Spurs - the first of 10
matches in the rat race.

" United must again make do without
striker Robin van Persie (ankle),
although Marcos Rojo (knock)
should be fit to play. If Rojo is
unavailable it will leave Van Gaal
short at the back as fellow defender Jonny Evans starts the
first game of his six-match ban
for spitting at Newcastle's Papiss
Cisse.

Angel di Maria is also
suspended after being sent off
against Arsenal.

Spurs travel to Manchester
seeking a third-consecutive victory
over United at Old Trafford,
which would move them level on
points with Van Gaal's men.

Before
those successes Spurs had not triumphed at Old Trafford since
1989 and head coach Mauricio
Pochettino insists his team have
the right mentality to return to
London with the points.

"We believe we can win," he said.
"You never think before a game
that it is possible to lose.

"You are always focusing on
getting the three points and are
never thinking about losing. Our
pressure is inside us, in the group.
We want to win every game.

"Maybe Manchester United has
history, but our mentality is to
compete and try to win the game.
Man United is not my problem.

" Pochettino, whose team have won
back-to-back matches since losing
the Capital One Cup final to
Chelsea, has no new injuries to
contend with.

Match Preview

Liverpool go into Sunday's
Barclays Premier League encounter
with Manchester United a wholly
different proposition to the side
who were convincingly beaten 3-0
at Old Trafford in December.

Brendan Rodgers' team lost out in
the reverse fixture late last year
in a result that typified their
inconsistent first half of the
season.

However, last year's runners-up
have embarked on a superb run
since then, going 13 top-flight
matches without defeat to put
themselves firmly in the running
for UEFA Champions League qualification.

Liverpool now sit just two points
behind fourth-placed United,
meaning this weekend's meeting
could prove key in the race for the
top four - and Rodgers is upbeat
about his team's chances of avenging their defeat at Old
Trafford.

"We've found solutions to issues
we had at the beginning of the
season but there is still a lot of
work to do," Rodgers said.

"[The players are] very comfortable in
the way of working. We showed a different side [in a 1-0 win] against
Swansea on Monday and came
through.

"[United have] got a lot of talent
and had a big investment in the
summer in world-class players.

"They've been up there all season,
and they will want to stay up
there. I don't worry about them
clicking.

"They had a good result versus
Spurs [United won 3-0 last
Sunday], but Anfield is a different
game.

" United, meanwhile, have lost just
twice in the league since their
derby defeat to Manchester City in
November.

An impressive 3-0 win over
Tottenham Hotspur sets them up
well for Sunday's meeting, while
Louis van Gaal has also been
buoyed by the agreement of a new
contract for Michael Carrick on Friday.

"I think every player knows the
importance of this game. We are in
a very crucial stage and cannot
lose," said the Dutchman.

"We played very well in the first half
[against Spurs] but it says nothing when you lose the next match. "I want to win against them again.

It's very important.

" While Luke Shaw and Marcos Rojo
are not fit enough to start for
United, Rodgers can welcome back
Lucas Leiva [groin] and Mario
Balotelli [illness].

Politics / How To Write A Campaign Speech by seydam21(m): 7:47pm On Feb 22, 2015
1. Remember that the audience is hearing the speech, not reading the speech. When you write a campaign speech, it's very important to keep in mind that how you write for listeners is going to be much different from how you would write for readers. You need to keep your words, phrases and sentences simpler, and read it aloud to see how it sounds, as people will only hear it once and not be able to go back and read it again.

2. Outline your campaign speech before writing it. A campaign speech is like all other writing in that it requires a beginning, middle
and end. Outlining your thoughts first will help you stay on track as you write the speech and stick to an essay- like format.

3. Consider your audience. Before you step up to the podium and start speaking, think about the audience you are addressing when you write your speech. Will the audience be predominantly male, female or a mix? What is the age group? Also, think about the area in which you are speaking, predominant religion and racial background.

4. Make your point strong and fast. Open your campaign speech with your theme, whether you are talking about social change, community growth or the economy, it's best to let your audience know right away what you are addressing. They can get on board with you quicker and follow the speech much more
easily if they know why you are there.

5. Support your thesis. Following your introduction, write the body of the campaign speech in such a manner that you offer facts that support what you are trying to say. Voters want to know why they should listen to you and if you know what you are telling them is valid.

6. Leave them thinking. Just as important to the campaign speech as the introduction is the conclusion. It's the last chance you will have to leave an impression, so make sure you write a strong ending to the speech that summarizes what you have said.

7. Go straight to the point. Adding a short biography about yourself won't help; it would only bore the people more. The audience wants a speech that is brief but concise; talk about your platform, what you will do, and how you will do it. Don't do too much formalities.

Manchester United playmaker Juan Mata is hoping he can create more good memories at St James' Park when they visit Newcastle United on Wednesday.

Louis van Gaal's men travel to Tyneside sitting fourth in the Barclays Premier League following a 2-0 win over 10-man Sunderland at the weekend.

However, the Old Trafford club's performances have remained largely unconvincing and will need to improve during what Mata - who netted twice in a 4-0 win at Newcastle last season - labels a crucial month in their quest for UEFA Champions League football.

"We will need to give everything in the next games to get our goals; for a start, against Newcastle in the Premier League, and next Monday against Arsenal in the FA Cup," Mata wrote on his official blog. "We will also play Tottenham and Liverpool in March, so it's not an exaggeration to describe this month as one of the most demanding ones this season.

"We remain in the Champions League spots, but you just need to have a look at the table to realise how close this race is going to be until the end of the season.

"We are ready for that, although all we think about is trying to win all the games left. Starting this coming Wednesday in St. James' Park, a stadium that brings back some good memories because I scored several goals there."

Mata has started just two of United's seven away fixtures since the turn of the year, but he could be back in Louis van Gaal's thoughts after missing out at the weekend, with the Dutchman continuing to alter selections and formations frequently.

Van Gaal has no fresh injury concerns, with Robin van Persie (ankle) the only man definitely ruled out.

Newcastle laboured to Saturday's 1-0 victory over Aston Villa on home soil and manager John Carver has demanded a more incisive display up front against the 20-time champions.

"I was brave going with two wingers and two strikers," he said after the Villa win.  "There are not many head coaches or managers in the Premier League go that way, but I did it because I felt it was important to get the three points.

"We talked about getting the ball in the wide areas and putting the ball in the box because it's no good Papiss [Cisse] being the lone striker and trying to play into his feet.

"But what was disappointing was that in the first half, we didn't put the ball in the box enough, and it just shows you, the ratio: you put it in the box and he will score a goal for you, and thankfully he did."

Jack Colback serves out the remainder of his two-match ban in this match, while winger Jonas Gutierrez is back in contention after featuring on the bench against Villa for the first time since recovering from cancer.

Match Preview

Gus Poyet is wary of a positive reaction
from Manchester United after their
defeat at Swansea City when
Sunderland visit Old Trafford in the
Barclays Premier League on Saturday.

United suffered a 2-1 loss at the
Liberty Stadium last weekend, allowing
Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur to
move within striking distance of a top
four spot.

The Red Devils will be looking to atone
for their home defeat to Poyet’s
Sunderland last season, when Sebastian
Larsson's strike secured a 1-0 triumph
that contributed to the Wearsiders'
remarkable end-of-season surge that secured their safety.

While Louis van Gaal's side have won one
of their last six away matches, the Dutchman continues to get positive results at home.

United have won 10 of their 13 Barclays Premier League matches at Old Trafford this season.

But Poyet pinpointed United’s recent
win over Burnley, which was criticised
by Van Gaal, as cause for optimism.

"Van Gaal was not happy about Burnley game but they scored three goals, but Burnley had plenty of chances," Poyet told www.safc.com . "We need to look at that game as a good
opportunity to play a certain way, be calm, and manage the game in certain way that it will suit our result.

"It is going to be tough, they have to come back [after the Swansea loss], they know us because of what happened last year. "We need to be spot on, especially in defence. We need to concentrate in what we do.

" Form is not on Sunderland's side, though, after just one win in their last nine, but Anthony Reveilliere hopes they can take confidence from Swansea's win. "We know that it's a challenge that is never easy there," he told The Shields Gazette.

"But at the same time, they've had a few difficulties this year and lost at Swansea last weekend.

"It's still Manchester United, and they've brought in a lot of players this season. "But we'll be ready for it and we've done well away from home this season.

" Emanuele Giaccherini looks likely to miss the rest of the season after undergoing further ankle surgery this week, while there are doubts over Billy Jones (ankle), Jack Rodwell (calf) and Will Buckley (knee).

United's injury list has one major addition to it after Saturday's defeat in Wales, Robin van Persie left the Liberty Stadium on crutches and could spend the next month out of action.

Michael Carrick has also been on the sidelines with a calf injury, while youngster James Wilson suffered a hip problem during a Barclays Under-21 Premier League match earlier this week.

Match Facts

Robin van Persie has scored six goals in
five BPL starts at home to Sunderland
for Manchester United and Arsenal.

Sunderland are the only team in the BPL
not to score a goal in the 15 minutes
directly after half–time.

United have won 10 and lost one of 13 Barclays Premier League home matches against Sunderland (D2).

The Black Cats have drawn more matches (13) than any team in BPL history after 26 match days.

[b]Swansea City manager Garry Monk has called on his players to reproduce the performance that earned them a season-opening win at Old Trafford when they host Manchester United in the Barclays Premier League on Saturday.

Ki Sung-yueng and Gylfi Sigurdsson found the net as Swansea registered a 2-1 victory to spoil Louis van Gaal's first competitive match as Man Utd manager.

It was only the second time Swansea had triumphed at Old Trafford, coming only seven months after the first - by the same scoreline in the FA Cup third round last January.

Swansea's form has been inconsistent since Christmas and the departure of star striker Wilfried Bony to Manchester City has coincided with the Welsh club earning only one win from their last seven Barclays Premier League fixtures.

But Monk is confident his players will turn it around, with inspiration to be drawn from August's triumph over the Red Devils. "It was a fantastic day," he said.

"The best thing about it is we won it on merit,
we weren't lucky or grabbed it at the end. It was deserved on our performance.

"Any win at Old Trafford is a great achievement, but they've changed a lot since then, they've climbed the table steadily and are in a fantastic position, where they should be with the fantastic squad they have.

"In the last four or five weeks we've not performed to the exact levels we've become accustomed to. Every team goes through those patches but now we're looking to come through it and make sure we finish the last 13 games strongly and put that consistency back
in our game.

" Monk will welcome the return of Iceland midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson following a three-match suspension.

"It was the first and hopefully the last red card of my career," Sigurdsson told swanseacity.net .

"It's the worst feeling as a footballer when you're fit and ready to play but you're sat in the stand or watching on TV because you're
suspended.

"It has been frustrating for the boys too because we haven't got the results we wanted, but you go through these types of patches in the season when things don't go your way.

"We need to turn it around and a win against United would certainly do that. "We beat them on the opening day of the season and it was a great start for us -we went on a good run after that and we'll look to do the same this time around.

" Phil Jones and Robin van Persie have been declared fit for Manchester United's trip to the Liberty Stadium.

Louis van Gaal revealed the duo, who missed Monday's FA Cup fifth-round triumph over Preston North End, are available for selection. Jones was forced off with a knee injury in the 3-1 win against Burnley on 11 February, while Van Persie was nursing a knock. The news leaves Michael Carrick (calf) as United's only absentee.

"They [Jones and van Persie] are fit to play," Van Gaal told MUTV. "Only Carrick is still injured. "I think he shall train with the group next week. I expect that, but you never know. You'll have to wait and see.

" Van Gaal will be wary of a Swansea side who spoiled his first competitive match as manager at Old Trafford, but the Dutchman pointed to United's "unbelievable" team spirit, which has helped them climb to third in the table on the back of a run of one defeat from their last 19 matches in all competitions. He added: "When you see the score of the last 19 or 20 matches, we are the best team in the league. I am never 100 per cent happy. We can play better than we are now, but the main thing is to win games.

"We've shown our team spirit many times this season. It's good for the fans and for me, as you see a player wants to follow you."[/b]
