Going home in a public bus exhausted after a night shift or stressful day could make one rest his sleepy head on a stranger's shoulder. Most times, the shoulder is deliberately adjusted to make you remove your head. An aggressive person on whose shoulder your head rests may even shout on you. Of note is when a beautiful and tired lady innocently rests her sleepy head on a man's shoulder. Surprisingly, the man who would have probably reacted harshly if the head was a male's would act like the shoulder is carrying no load, might even wish his shoulder would turn to a pillow. Men some times see it as a green light. |
Phcn bill for March is out, despite the darkness and heat they supplied, the bill is still as escalated as usual. One wonders if this nation will ever get it right with power supply. The heat is on a different level, the noise pollution is horrible, how can we reduce greenhouse emission when we all depend on our Generating sets? |
Stevyne:The important thing is to recover my property |
Stevyne:There is a little history behind the 3 years accumulated rent which isn't necessary here. Forceful eviction is not that easy , there are dire consequences so I cannot just enter his flat and throw his things out. The tenancy law in Lagos favors tenants. |
donbachi:I'm seriously thinking along this line |
chuksville:I live in Lagos |
harmargedon:No, but in the same locality |
I need practical suggestions on how to drive out a stubborn tenant oweing 3 years rent. Mind you, I want to avoid the court or mediation centres. I'm racking my brain on how to make him voluntarily move out. A. 6 month quit notice was served him, after which a 7 day ultimatum followed. He is still obstinate, telling me to go to court. |
chronian:You haven't said anything |

Men have varying pursuit capacity, some have a short fuse while some have developed thick skin for insults upon insults from women. It has been said many times that women mean yes when they say no at times. How long shall a man continue to read in between the lines of a woman. What are the red lights a man should watch out for? |

As a guest speaker you need to do a little investigation about your host denomination. Familiarize yourself with their doctrines, idiosyncrasies, methods and proclivities. Go a bit further to know the current mood in the particular congregation. This will guide you to manage your emotions and predict the reception you are likely to get. For instance , a church who just had a burial activity can't be expected to respond promptly to your calls. A guest speaker who decides to swerve from the topic given him into other areas is being rebellious to the host minister. Hence the need to have a note to guide you in your delivery. A guest speaker who is expected to speak on leadership should not speak on divine healing . Raising funds as a guest speaker without obtaining the permission of your host before the meeting is regarded as an Ecclesiastical illegality. Your host must be in the know of whatever you intend to do with his microphone. Try as much as possible to stay within the purview of the authority given to you. Attempt to impress your host by raising funds may boomerang. It is not within your space to correct what you consider a doctrinal error in your host church . That's why you should have done your homework on the host denomination . If you're not comfortable with their doctrinal stand, kindly turn down the speaking offer rather than making a mess of their doctrines on their platform. It is simply bizzare. |
Forget number 4, to break the backbone of poverty, you cannot regiment your sleep. Sleep when you can and wake whenever you need to. |
Olunmercy56:Lol, I will not be disgraced whether public or private o. But you have a point though |
Olunmercy56:Ok, thanks. What do you think about a public proposal, say for instance in the church or mall? |
Olunmercy56:Kindly share some of the many ways you will appreciate as a lady |
I personally find it awkward especially when the man is way older than the woman. As an African man, I do not subscribe to that, it's a western invation of our culture. If you yab me, na you Sabi. |
samunaka:I tire o |
Tochi3:Glad you are brain dead now |
favor914:Thank you jare |
hedonido:You could have named Presidents treated with such disgrace abroad |
ddippset:What majority are acting is bandwagon political reaction or monetised noise |
Rareoil:Lagos Ibadan expressway and many other A list Federal roads are better and motorable today. Agriculture has been boosted across board The railway sector once again has been revived Just to mention a few By this , I do not in the slightest way solidarise with the APC regime, truth be told, it underperformed. However, we must recognize that the President cannot give what he doesn't have. Rather than blame him for his below average performance especially in security and economic management, blame yourself and 15million Nigerians for voting him to office in 2015. But can you really blame yourself? |
XXXXTENTACION:Travelling abroad I believe was a personal choice and perhaps a security advice which may not have been premised on the condition of the healthcare sector. Because i'm sure there are competent doctors in well equipped hospitals in Nigeria. |
NaMe4:You can label my article" utter rubbish" ,but does it change the fact that Southerners like you prefer to stay on Nairaland on election day rather than going out to vote? |
AGNESikpuNNU:Besides excusing your gutter language, let me remind you that the Nigerian electorate are the idiots and fools for voting a Buhari |
Rareoil:Please remember to show me your gains after the demonstration |
The ongoing media noise by Reno Omokri and his comrades as they stage a vexation show on President Buhari at the Abuja house in London labelled #harassbuharioutoflondon is nothing short of the irritant of a fart. This cacophony of opprobrium gives a sense of deja vu which is not only wrongly timed but also laced with an overdose of pettiness. His rhetorical grandstanding this time around doesn't seem to sit well with reason. Is Buhari the only President in the world over with failed promises? How many presidents gets this kind of embarrassment from their citizens when in the diaspora? An Octogenarian on a medical trip doesn't deserve this noise and distraction not to mention the nuisance Remo Omokri has constituted himself into. President Buhari is still our Commander in chief and he deserves to be respected. His style of governance may not be the best, but please respect the person of the President. Must we politicise everything? In less than 2 years from now, a new President- elect will be waiting to be sworn in . Why not channel your energy towards getting a better replacement for the President. Demonstrations certainly doesn't seem like the panacea at this moment. What we need is a revived political consciousness and a well mobilized army of voters ready to cast their votes come 2023. Southerners are passionate about demonstrations but too lazy to queue on election day. While the North lines up both qualified and underage voters at the polling booths, the sophisticated and educated South would flood the streets with their boots and jerseys playing soccer. Reno Omokri should rather channel his energy towards 2023 general elections and stop this fruitless embarrassment of our President. The beauty of democracy is the time limit on each occupant of Aso Villa. This isn't about holding brief for the President but simple logic. |
Congratulations to Burna boy and Wizkid for winning The Grammy awards. However, there is a better award we all must strive not to miss. The Bema awards at the Judgement seat of Christ. 2 Cor. 5:10 Believers who labour in the Lord's vineyard with the right motives are the only potential nominees and winners of the Bema awards. Don't miss it for anything. |
Congrats to Burna boy and Wizkid on the Grammy award However, an award we all must not miss is the Bema awards at the Judgement seat of Christ This award is reserved for those who labor faithfully in the Lord's vineyard. Strive not to miss it, whether or not you are recognized or appreciated. |
In fact, it should be an easy thing to do now. They only need to apply the benefit of hindsight and remember how God took them from the slum to the palace and they will gladly do it over and over again. The truth is , when God places a demand on your money, He is about to raise your level and these men know this. |
