It happens na. It boils down to the individuals' character
It rarely does, except where the landlord is visually impaired or the landlord lives separately from them. They would always be disagreements , skirmishes, rage , shouting and so on.

[quote author=Maychel post=93148736]I and my tenants are living peacefully[/quote

For how long have you been living peacefully?
Is there a fence separating you and them?
Do you routinely inspect the exterior condition of the house?
PropertiesCan A Landlord Live At Peace With His Tenants? by seyi360(op): 8:15pm On Aug 23, 2020
Keen observations have shown that a Landlord/landlady cannot possibly be at peace with his tenants for a long while.
The relationship might begin well but along the line, familiarity sets in , lines are crossed and the once rosy relationship gets sour.
Every house owner wants things done his way rightly or wrongly. However, while attempting to force it down the throat of his tenants, they rebel.
Hence , all hell breaks loose.
Summarily , neither of the parties should get too familiar with the other. Pay your rent and mind your business.

Those who call themselves witches and wizards are just using psychology on the ignorant ones. Witches have no spiritual power, rather they are psychics who use psychophysical sense on the ignorant ones, especially on the religious ones, most especially on the gullible Christians. That's why you see that freethinkers, humanists and atheists don't have problem with anything you call witches and wizards. This is because they know that there is no such thing. It's only the wise that will understand. Peace.

The books are true life stories.

Well... Ive not seen any one on one repented but I believe there are some who repent but may not come out to say it.
The reality is that witchcraft is a no return ticket journey of wickedness.
It's a bottomless pit of wickedness from which the practitioners cannot come out.
Trying to repent of witchcraft is like closing the stable door after the horse bolted.

The devil does not release his captives.
The few who received special grace to repent will have to kiss goodbye to normal lives.
However for the remaining 99.9% who sold their souls to the devil, the witchcraft spirit will eventually destroy them.

Besides the books you read, have you seen or heard of one witch who repented around you, in your church, community, state or even the nation? If yes, what is the ratio of those who repented to those who continue and die in it.

You probably have heard of witches confessing and dieing afterwards.
Christianity EtcCan A Witch Repent? by seyi360(op): 9:50pm On Aug 15, 2020
Witches are known for their ruthless and destructive proclivities. Unimaginable wickedness gives them unparalleled pleasure. There are two types; a.
Conscious witches. These are witches who wittingly practice witchcraft without remorse. Callous, wicked , envious , rampaging and destructive are some adjectives which captures their disposition.
b. Unconscious or blind witches. These ones either got into witchcraft by inheritance, unknown covenant or unwittingly initiated into this dark society. Most times, they never know what is happening to them. Their dreams are mysterious and unexplainable.

My focus is however on the conscious witches who go all the way out to carry out destructive instructions, distort destinies, ruin lives , drink human blood, eat human flesh, program evil into people's bodies.
They become completely wild and unrepentant after entering a covenant with the devil.
Can they actually repent? If yes, what percentage of witches repent and forsake witchcraft.
They are mostly known for transferring the spirit to their chosen daughter to succeed them. The higher they climb in the witchcraft hierarchy, the more unlikely it is to repent. Personally, I am yet to see a repentant witch. Their activities are always shrouded in secrecy.
I have heard of witches confessing to witchcraft and giving up the ghost afterwards, unwilling to repent and receive salvation.
While majority die without confessing and repenting despite their strong religious disposition to Christianity or Islam. Which brings me to the question of whether witches can actually repent .

The burden of leadership is cumbersome in so many respects. The many factions that needs to be pacified, interest groups that needs to be tranquilized while trying to stay afloat in the midst of the pressures pulling you in all directions to do their bidding.

You don't want to be perceived as weak or as a dictator.

Yet If you are lack the requisite courage, you might dance to the tune of the most vociferous complainer whose request may be at variance with what is right and just.

So how do you strike equilibrium ?

a Try not to hurry with your decision making. b.Consult with the parties involved.
c.Gather your facts and complains to peruse them thoroughly
d.Weigh the options available
e What are the probable aftermaths of your decision?

Therefore , based on the facts available to you, make a decision you can always defend .

From my little knowledge, I will try to answer some of the points/questions raised by @ seyi360

1) that dead bodies are exhumed and used for rituals is purely a demonic purpose - the body being remains/remnants of someone who has crossed over from one sphere to another - and nothing to do with the person who has crossed (died).

2) on the fight between the devil and the archangel Micheal, it was because Moses didn't really die in that sense. As a matter of fact they were only three in the old testament who didn't die - the others being Enoch and Elijah. The didn't go into sheol like everyone who lived and died.

That was why it was Moses alongside Elijah that appeared to Jesus on the mountain of transfiguration.

The fight was that the devil wanted to take custody of his body like every other dead but the archangel had to rebuke Satan and take his body to heaven.

This is a public forum so let me hang that there.

3) Joseph told the Israelite to take his bones away from Egypt was part of the tradition among the jews in which they always wanted to be buried close to their kinsmen in their land and nothing to do with resurrection.

There was little or not knowledge of resurrection in the old testament.

4) the Bible didn't say there was holes in Jesus's hands. Jesus told Thomas to put his hands in his (Jesus) hands and on his side. Obviously, the scar was there and it had healed. Otherwise it would still have been painful as it was only a week after the crucifixion.

His bone was not broken because the prophecy had to be fulfilled. But if it had been broken, it would have been healed and restored in the resurrected body.

5) the saying 'until the dead is buried their soul is yet to rest' is an African saying. It is not in the Bible.

What the Bible says is that once a person dies he /she moves to his/her destination waiting for the resurrection which will be in two phases by the way.

Again this is a public forum and let's hand that in there.

6) Joseph of arimathea was a rich man, a politician if you would call him today who had had personal friendship with pilate. Being a secret follower, he used his connection to get Jesus' body to be buried in the tomb he had carved for his own burial - it was customary for rich men to have their Graves carved in their lifetime - and not a necessarily a 'secure' location.

All these had little or nothing to do with His resurrected body.

What the Bible says about resurrection is that the corruptible will put on incorruptible and mortality will put on immortality. The body we will have at resurrection will look the same in appearance but not the same in content.
For instance the body we will have will have no blood. Will be able to eat but will not get hungry.

For the final time, this is a public forum and let me hand it there.

Back to the question, everything about burial is for the living; to achieve closure and have good memories. But as far as the dead are concerned, you could chop their bodies into pieces or even cremate them, their souls are gone and will put on a new incorruptible body in resurrection the day.

The question is : will it be in heaven or hell.
The scriptures below should settle this controversy.
Ecclesiastes
6:3 A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he.
6:4 It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded.
6:5 Though it never saw the sun or knew anything, it has more rest than does that man--

Verse 5 suggests that some factors actually determine how well a corpse rests. End of story.

As for whether or not Moses really died, its shocking what you typed. Please read Deut. 34:5-8 . Moses died and God buried him.

Burial is not just for the living, it affects the dead positively or negatively.

As to whether or not Jesus has a hole in his hand, feet or side. The Bible is clear on that. Jesus told Thomas to touch his side where a spear was thrusted. Jesus didn't say anything about his hands because Thomas already saw it while talking to Jesus.

No one can say with all certainty the state of the transformed body after rapture but we can make reference to Jesus' glorified body after he rose.

Let me weight in on this. Are in insunuating that right now in heaven, Jesus still has the wound.?
What samuelpeter said is correct. He resurrected his earthly body so that the disciples can believe.

When the saint will be resurrected, it is their soul that will be resurrected not their earthly body.
It is the souls of sinners that will also be condemned
I can categorically conclude that there is abysmal biblical illetracy on Nairaland.

The resurrected Christ has a hole in his palm , side and feet as the Bible tells us in his appearance to his disciples and it remains so till this moment because He ascended with the same body in the same state.

My dear , the soul needs no resurrection because it never dies. It can only be saved or lost.
The body is the only part of the tripartite structure of man that dies. Which shall resurrect to reunite with the soul to either eternity with God or with satan.

Please read your Bible well and attend Bible study classes before commenting.

Really? So how did you come about the conclusion that it is indeed not a yardstick to measure the relevance and significance of burials? undecided
Jesus Christ, prophesised His own death, never made any arrangements as to His burial. Does that not tell you something about what Jesus Christ said, and meant when He said, "... let the dead bury their dead"?
Jesus Christ's body was expected to rot there on the cross, eventually to be cast into Gehenna along with the bodies of many others who died in similar ways as He did. undecided
Joseph Arimathea, who was not even known to Jesus Christ before His death, made the arrangements instead according to his traditions--since Jesus Christ was 'dead' He could surely not have been able to stop Him. undecided
But God is not the one who buried Jesus Christ though... Joseph of Arimethea did. God used it to the glory of His name though. undecided
Your assertion of "let the dead bury the dead" negates the principle of Bible interpretation.

What you did is called" Interpolation" in Hermeneutics.
You don't interpret scripture outside of the context in which it was said.
Thus, the quotation is not applicable, what you did is an attempt to impose your thoughts on those words.

From where did you learn the body of Jesus was expected to rot on the cross?

For your other comments, they are grossly illogical.

LOL... again, Jesus Christ considered such arguing meaninglessness, as He said to let the dead bury their dead. If you are truly a follower of Jesus Christ, why are you arguing about such things? undecided
"Let the dead bury the dead" was a response to an excuse given by a potential disciple and not a yardstick to measure the relevance and significance of burials.

Moreover Jesus himself wasn't buried by the dead. An aristocrat by the name Joseph of Arimathea pleaded with Pilate to receive custody of Jesus' body and spent good money to buy a decent and expensive burial location for Jesus.

You see, God never treated the burial of His son with levity. He was buried in a secure location. His body could have been thrown anywhere if burials are not spiritually significant.

samuelpeters:
Those things were there so that the disciples would believe he is the same jesus that had died and has risen.
It has nothing to do with the way his body was treated.

Lets go with your Logic of what you said about jesus. example, Those that had Accident and their bodies were scattered like butchered Meat, so if they rise they wouldn't have bodies right?
Because their Physical bodies were destroyed in the Accident.
- Be pragmatic and empirical at least, what happened to Jesus' body before and after resurrection is exemplary, more of an adumbration and a pointer to what might happen to a believer's body after he or she rises to eternity.

Moreover, If you haven't been in a position to decide or argue with your siblings or extended family as to where to bury someone close to you, and arguments were thrown back and forth, you can't appreciate the essence of this subject.

You need Understanding!
That thing you call Body is has nothing to do with your Soul. Your Soul has it Body!

That thing you call Body is dust. It's just a container. It perishes here..

Wake up young man..

Feed your Soul! That is what Matters
It's obvious you're lacking in depth on the subject and deficit in understanding.

Who told you " your soul has it's body" ?
What doctrine is that?

For emphasis, man has only one body , there is no such thing as another body for the soul

Yes, the body is a container that perishes here, but that same body will be resurrected again at the rapture.

Joseph could see through his prophetic eyes , reason why he instructed his kinsmen to carry his bones out of Egypt after the slavery.

Otherwise, he would have missed the resurrection of old testament saints in Jerusalem

And what could have triggered the fight over Moses' body if the body is nothing.

Haven't you heard that until a corpse is buried, and dust returns to dust, the spirit of the dead is yet to rest?

Wake up young man , feed your soul and treat your body well.

Burial is not just an earthly thing, it has spiritual significance and effect on the dead.

A mutilated body will tell on the owner of the body

After Jesus rose from the dead, the hole in his 2 palms , by his side and feet were still there

In fact, he gave up the ghost before the Roman military attempted to break his bones to expedite his death

Knowing he would have to resurrect with a broken bone.

The condition of a corpse certainly tells on the corpse , it's spiritual.
