Promoter2:It rarely does, except where the landlord is visually impaired or the landlord lives separately from them. They would always be disagreements , skirmishes, rage , shouting and so on. |
[quote author=Maychel post=93148736]I and my tenants are living peacefully[/quote For how long have you been living peacefully? Is there a fence separating you and them? Do you routinely inspect the exterior condition of the house? |
Keen observations have shown that a Landlord/landlady cannot possibly be at peace with his tenants for a long while. The relationship might begin well but along the line, familiarity sets in , lines are crossed and the once rosy relationship gets sour. Every house owner wants things done his way rightly or wrongly. However, while attempting to force it down the throat of his tenants, they rebel. Hence , all hell breaks loose. Summarily , neither of the parties should get too familiar with the other. Chiedu4Trump:Deliverance requires that you cooperate with God |
helinues:This one weak me |
Chiedu4Trump:However God needs your cooperation to do some things. In this instance, the witch looses the ability to yield and surrender herself/himself for deliverance. The heart is hardened and therefore cannot submit to God. |
OtemAtum:May God damage your ignorance before it's too late |
Brachaa:The reality is that witchcraft is a no return ticket journey of wickedness. It's a bottomless pit of wickedness from which the practitioners cannot come out. Trying to repent of witchcraft is like closing the stable door after the horse bolted. The devil does not release his captives. The few who received special grace to repent will have to kiss goodbye to normal lives. However for the remaining 99.9% who sold their souls to the devil, the witchcraft spirit will eventually destroy them. |
Brachaa:Besides the books you read, have you seen or heard of one witch who repented around you, in your church, community, state or even the nation? If yes, what is the ratio of those who repented to those who continue and die in it. You probably have heard of witches confessing and dieing afterwards. |
Witches are known for their ruthless and destructive proclivities. Unimaginable wickedness gives them unparalleled pleasure. There are two types; a. Conscious witches. These are witches who wittingly practice witchcraft without remorse. Callous, wicked , envious , rampaging and destructive are some adjectives which captures their disposition. b. Unconscious or blind witches. These ones either got into witchcraft by inheritance, unknown covenant or unwittingly initiated into this dark society. Most times, they never know what is happening to them. Their dreams are mysterious and unexplainable. My focus is however on the conscious witches who go all the way out to carry out destructive instructions, distort destinies, ruin lives , drink human blood, eat human flesh, program evil into people's bodies. They become completely wild and unrepentant after entering a covenant with the devil. Can they actually repent? If yes, what percentage of witches repent and forsake witchcraft. They are mostly known for transferring the spirit to their chosen daughter to succeed them. The higher they climb in the witchcraft hierarchy, the more unlikely it is to repent. Personally, I am yet to see a repentant witch. Their activities are always shrouded in secrecy. I have heard of witches confessing to witchcraft and giving up the ghost afterwards, unwilling to repent and receive salvation. While majority die without confessing and repenting despite their strong religious disposition to Christianity or Islam. Which brings me to the question of whether witches can actually repent . Exodus 22: 18 " Thou shall not suffer a witch to live" |

Good one from Dr. Olukoya, a true leader indeed. |
I respect this man, he has always been an icon of truth. |
The burden of leadership is cumbersome in so many respects. The many factions that needs to be pacified, interest groups that needs to be tranquilized while trying to stay afloat in the midst of the pressures pulling you in all directions to do their bidding. You don't want to be perceived as weak or as a dictator. Yet If you are lack the requisite courage, you might dance to the tune of the most vociferous complainer whose request may be at variance with what is right and just. So how do you strike equilibrium ? a Try not to hurry with your decision making. b.Consult with the parties involved. c.Gather your facts and complains to peruse them thoroughly d.Weigh the options available e What are the probable aftermaths of your decision? Therefore , based on the facts available to you, make a decision you can always defend . |
Cele church , hmmmm, I reserve my comment |
yemisolar:The scriptures below should settle this controversy. Ecclesiastes 6:3 A man may have a hundred children and live many years; yet no matter how long he lives, if he cannot enjoy his prosperity and does not receive proper burial, I say that a stillborn child is better off than he. 6:4 It comes without meaning, it departs in darkness, and in darkness its name is shrouded. 6:5 Though it never saw the sun or knew anything, it has more rest than does that man-- Verse 5 suggests that some factors actually determine how well a corpse rests. End of story. As for whether or not Moses really died, its shocking what you typed. Please read Deut. 34:5-8 . Moses died and God buried him. Burial is not just for the living, it affects the dead positively or negatively. As to whether or not Jesus has a hole in his hand, feet or side. The Bible is clear on that. Jesus told Thomas to touch his side where a spear was thrusted. Jesus didn't say anything about his hands because Thomas already saw it while talking to Jesus. No one can say with all certainty the state of the transformed body after rapture but we can make reference to Jesus' glorified body after he rose. |
nams77:I can categorically conclude that there is abysmal biblical illetracy on Nairaland. The resurrected Christ has a hole in his palm , side and feet as the Bible tells us in his appearance to his disciples and it remains so till this moment because He ascended with the same body in the same state. My dear , the soul needs no resurrection because it never dies. It can only be saved or lost. The body is the only part of the tripartite structure of man that dies. Which shall resurrect to reunite with the soul to either eternity with God or with satan. Please read your Bible well and attend Bible study classes before commenting. |
Kobojunkie:Your assertion of "let the dead bury the dead" negates the principle of Bible interpretation. What you did is called" Interpolation" in Hermeneutics. You don't interpret scripture outside of the context in which it was said. Thus, the quotation is not applicable, what you did is an attempt to impose your thoughts on those words. From where did you learn the body of Jesus was expected to rot on the cross? For your other comments, they are grossly illogical. |
Kobojunkie:"Let the dead bury the dead" was a response to an excuse given by a potential disciple and not a yardstick to measure the relevance and significance of burials. Moreover Jesus himself wasn't buried by the dead. An aristocrat by the name Joseph of Arimathea pleaded with Pilate to receive custody of Jesus' body and spent good money to buy a decent and expensive burial location for Jesus. You see, God never treated the burial of His son with levity. He was buried in a secure location. His body could have been thrown anywhere if burials are not spiritually significant. |
samuelpeters:- Be pragmatic and empirical at least, what happened to Jesus' body before and after resurrection is exemplary, more of an adumbration and a pointer to what might happen to a believer's body after he or she rises to eternity. Moreover, If you haven't been in a position to decide or argue with your siblings or extended family as to where to bury someone close to you, and arguments were thrown back and forth, you can't appreciate the essence of this subject. |
IfGodbeforus:It's nonsense talk to you because your mind is not elastic enough to take new truths |
Kobojunkie:The question I asked is simply. "where do you prefer to bury your dead aged parents"? |
IfGodbeforus:It's obvious you're lacking in depth on the subject and deficit in understanding. Who told you " your soul has it's body" ? What doctrine is that? For emphasis, man has only one body , there is no such thing as another body for the soul Yes, the body is a container that perishes here, but that same body will be resurrected again at the rapture. Joseph could see through his prophetic eyes , reason why he instructed his kinsmen to carry his bones out of Egypt after the slavery. Otherwise, he would have missed the resurrection of old testament saints in Jerusalem And what could have triggered the fight over Moses' body if the body is nothing. Haven't you heard that until a corpse is buried, and dust returns to dust, the spirit of the dead is yet to rest? Wake up young man , feed your soul and treat your body well. |
samuelpeters:@samuelpeters, it may appear nonsensical to you, because you haven't seen corpses abandoned at the morgue for years due to arguments by family members as to where to bury the body. |
samuelpeters:How do explain the hole in his palm , feet and side after resurrection? If not as a result of what was done to his body by the soldiers. Furthermore, would it have been any different if they broke his bones? |
IfGodbeforus:If the Roman military took custody of Jesus' body, he would have resurrected with a deformed body. Thus, it matters where the dead is buried. |
IfGodbeforus:Burial is not just an earthly thing, it has spiritual significance and effect on the dead. A mutilated body will tell on the owner of the body After Jesus rose from the dead, the hole in his 2 palms , by his side and feet were still there In fact, he gave up the ghost before the Roman military attempted to break his bones to expedite his death Knowing he would have to resurrect with a broken bone. The condition of a corpse certainly tells on the corpse , it's spiritual. |
IfGodbeforus:You certainly haven't heard about the night market at graveyards where bodies are exhumed, butchered and sold for ritualistic purposes.. If bodies don't matter, why did Angel Michael and Satan fight over the body of Moses? Why did Joseph tell his kinsmen to move his bones out of Egypt to the promised Land? |
Byke60:Where else are corpses buried? |
ANTONINEUTRON:Man up, it's inevitable, every man must prepare for the bitter pill of death. People die daily. |
