It depends on the school like UNN money is everything there so far you can buy 1 big AC and 1 Gen for the faculty or if you have your 500k your GP Doesn’t matter

Math A1
Eng B3
Phy B3
Bio B2
Chem B3

After 200L.

The faculty of Medicine feels like 100L GP isn't enough to be qualified. You must finish 200L.

Physiology is a good course to cross through.

Physiology is a department in the medical Campus at Okofia in Nnewi.

Any Biological related or medical related course can cross over.

Its all about GP.

Meanwhile, it's a lot easier to make good G.P in AWKA Campus than Nnewi campus.

Example;

Somebody in Zoology, Awka can easily make good GP than someone in Physiology, Anatomy, Nursing, Radiography, Med. lab. Etc. Okofia Nnewi.

Why?

The courses offered in 200L are core medical courses, thus, strick marking. Like the MCQs that have negative marking.

While in AWKA, the pattern is not strict.


But to be on the safer side, why don't you choose you can still finish with if crossing doesn't work?

When I wrote jamb in ss3,I had 281 and in waec,I had 8 distinctions and 1 credit.

G.P matters a lot!

Just have a good G.P.

They usually pick from the highest applied G.P to the lowest number they want to admit, depending hugely on the number of students that fails out from 100L.

Meanwhile, a good G.P of 4.5 and above gives you a good edge.

However, you must note that folks with 5.0 may also apply.

In UNIZIK, it's a lot easier getting 5.0 in 100L

well i could have been admitted to another school but na me wan go unilag, cos money no dey to run state uni and I'm still enjoying my stay here in engineering but this year I wanna leave that faculty cos it's not making me serious, anytime I step my foot in that faculty I'm always sad that this not what i want hence my pursuit for medicine.

*How can i combine my school of choice POST UTME past question and that of JAMB examination past question respectively
*At what pace will i study to seeing that i covered the recommended science textbooks, my lamlard series and explicit, jamb and post jamb past question.
*for the lads that has written theirs irrespective of the year, did you combine textbooks?....how did you covered the materials. PLS SOMEONE SHOULD HELP ME ON THIS.

Well, most people here have given you some advice. So the ball is in your court whether or not to heed to their advice. But my advice is that you should not reject this course on a platter of gold. A bird at hand worths millions in the bush.

@sf123 you have hope here boss merit for this varsity is 65 you have 249 or so.. All you need do is destroy post utme and you stand a chance. 249/8 around 30 or so then post utme score like 85/2 around 40 or thereabout. 30+40 equal 70. The main thing is post utme. I might be wrong sha

Let me advise you simply bro. Reject the admission and prepare very well for jamb, you'll likely regret if u accept the admission since it's medicine you really want. You'll find so much unfulfillment, there's enough time to prepare for jamb, if you do your home work well, I'm assuring you, you'll get medicine.
