Finally, I got my passport.
VISA GRANTED: 6 months.

Exactly 40 working days of waiting paid off

Thank God.

What is happening to GT bank. The share keeps falling. It is currently at 24.95k just 0.6k higher than Zenith Bank. Well me I think it is a bargain price as I keep buying more of GTbank.

But is there any news or event we are not aware of that is making the share fall?

Government Ministry representatives and Business Network company representative, prior approved by the British High Commission and the company’s authorized signatories with a letter of introduction and a company ID card.
Please note that all third party collections above will require a means of national identification e.g. International Passport, National ID Card, Driver’s License.

IMPORTANT: If any of the above documents are missing, your representative will not be allowed to retrieve your travel document.

Mine has been since 30 September. It is 35 working days today. Planning to travel Dec 5; now I have got to defer my trip.

A Neighbor got an offer recently from another company for 400k. He is into IT, his current company pays him 250k. But after he indicated he was going. They decided to increase his pay to 370k.
The Neighbor of course rejected but few days after he discovered the new coy he wants to go to has a very bad culture and he will be frustrated.

I started investing in NSE may this year. I invested in few banks including Zenith.
Now it is time for interim dividend and the registrar (based on info from my broker) is saying I am not entitle to it. That it is only people that invested before May that are entitled.

I think it is not correct to say Nigeria have tested just 5,000 people only. The record is just not updated. If you have been following the record closely you will notice that we have been complaining that it is just 5,000 people tested since 3 to 4 days now.
What about people tested on Friday, Saturday and today? How come the 5000 has not increased.....
Or are we saying they have suspended testing and they are just giving us report of those tested previously.......

Thank u all. I just got my passport too. It was successful.

I applied for a UK tourist visa recently. My time line are:
Application submitted.... Feb 12
Biometric Appointment.... Feb 24
Application transferred to UKVI.... Feb 24
Mail acknowledging receipt by UKVI--Mar 2

Today is 18days after Biometric. No mail for conclusion or that decision have been reached by UKVI or TLS.
Or
The process has been suspended due to Coronovirus pandemic.
I just need to know what exactly is going on? No communication whatsoever and my passport is in their custody.
How do I clarify what is the status of the application.
Please advice my fellow forum mate, what should I do?

Are you comparing Enugu as a state with Lagos state or comparing the best part of Enugu with the best part of Lagos?
I haven't stayed in Enugu b4 but on one of my trip to the East, the airline I flew landed at Enugu international Airport and what I saw was a major eye sore. Nothing international about the airport.
However I have seen pix of the finest place in Enugu, they are incomparable with victoria island in Lagos not to talk about places like Ikoyi, Banana island....

No city in Nigeria is fine abeg. However people should stop comparing Lagos with PH or Enugu. Apart from Abuja, Lagos is the closest to a modern city in Nigeria. All the others including Enugu, Owerri, Asaba are glorified towns. Please take a trip outside Nigeria before you start arguing with me.

So this my neighbour got a job with an oil servicing firm in PH and relocated. He visited recently and narrated some funny but very pathetic story to me.
Story 1
There is this lady that my neigbour has been toasting for a while but the babe claims she can't date him because he is yoruba. Recently the babe told my neighbour if she could visit her in PH. She intends to spend 2 days with him with all expenses paid, flight ticket, if she is not ok with the guys apartment, he will foot the hotel bill then he will take her for a grand shopping because she wants to change her wardrobe. All expenses estimated to be about 200k. Ofcourse my neighbour declined. He said they aint even dating, what is the essence of spending such a ridiculous amt of money for 2days visit and asides that he has no obligation to change her wardrobe. The babe got angry and called him a Stingy man.

Story 2
This is quite similar, the babe said she is coming to PH for adventure and not a visit. the guy said no problem, he will foot accomodation and feeding but the girl was like she would only sleep in the guy's house if only they do not sleep in the same room. The guy requested the lady to foot her accomodation bill then if she does not feel safe enough to share apartment with him. The babe got angry and said the guy is STINGY.

in this 2 scenerio, my neighbour wasn't dating both girls but they feel the guy should spend so much on them because they are coming around. They call him STINGY because he does not see basis of spending so much just to host a girl who he has no romantic attachment to atleast.

The question, is it that most girls of our generation are so shameless now, that they go about tasking guys up and down? or is there a problem my neighbour.
