It's very obvious there are behind-the-scene moves aimed at scuttling the will of the people. Why will it take 72 hours for the electoral commission to announce the winner? Did it take this long in 2011? I weep for my country ![]() |
Elder brother to Governor Ayo Fayose of Ekiti state, Segun Fayose says his younger brother is an embarrassment to their family. Speaking with The Nation in Ibadan yesterday March 22nd, Segun Fayose, a UK-based accountant said that he has cautioned his brother many times over his recent remarks insulting Obasanjo and Buhari but he has refused to listen. "It is a pity Nigerians are celebrating criminals. I am angry with Nigerians for electing somebody like Ayodele as governor. My children cannot come to Nigeria because of the terrible situation of our country. I don’t have a relationship with any of our leaders because of their criminality and anybody who says I collected money from the opposition should step forward to challenge me. Ekiti and Nigeria are bigger than Fayose’s name and both names should be protected. I don’t want anything from anybody, but Ayo should stop insulting and abusing my father’s name. As a result of Fayose’s attitude, many people believe the Fayose family is rude but it is far from the truth. I have spoken to him many times, but he refused to listen. Buhari and Obasanjo are old enough to be his father and I don’t know why he should be insulting them. I am always sad with the situation of this country. Ayo’s arrogance is one of the reasons I said people should not vote for him prior to the Ekiti governorship election. If all I am saying is not true, my six children should die and I should end up in shame. Most of us abroad are not happy with the situation of Nigeria. We are sad. When people call me from Ekiti to complain about Ayo, I tell them to forgive the family. People should not see Ayo as an ambassador of our family.”he said http://lindaikeji..co.uk/2015/03/fayose-is-embarrassing-our-family-im.html#more |

@poster, the truth is your "friend" aka you, brought this on herself. Obviously she would have had suitors in her younger days but chose to be selective thinking she still had time but forgetting that nobody has time, time belongs to no one but God. Now the season has passed...the tide has changed. Well, at 37, she still has hope. First of all, she should become very prayerful. Then if she is the saucy type, that won't help. She should work on her character and be nicer. She can register on dating sites and attend single events. A little bit of desperation is not bad but she should avoid being "over-desperate" lest she fall into the wrong hands. Ire o! ![]() |

bilms:@OP, you are very silly and you will never do well. In yorubaland, that staff they are holding is called "opa ase" which means "staff of office" or "staff of authority". They can bless or curse by using the staff. The horse tail (irukere) is just a mere insignia. It's not a symbol of office since it is held by mere chiefs also. May you never do well for misleading the forum |

The poster is silly. He didn't "walk out". The newscaster ended the interview because he refused to answer the question. The he left his seat angrily. The interview had already ended before he walked out ![]() |
Popular Nollywood actor, Muna Obiekwe has passed away after a battle with Kidney failure. The Trent exclusively reports that the actor passed away in the afternoon of Sunday, January 18, 2015 in a hospital in Festac, Lagos. Obiekwe had been battling with kidney disease for a long time which he reportedly kept secret from his colleagues in the Nigerian entertainment industry. His condition deteriorated in recent times, which eventually led to his death. A reliable source who spoke with The Trent said Obiekwe was rushed to the hospital on Sunday morning after he was found vomiting at home. Unfortunately he lost the battle and passed away in the hospital. This is a very sad loss for Nollywood. May his soul rest in peace http://www.naij.com/365162-controversial-actor-muna-obiekwe-dies.html

This thread has been created due to popular demand ![]() So here we go...best places to meet/find a life partner 1. In a church, mosque or any religious setting 2. In a library (yes. The serene, studious atmosphere can create a spark between two individuals) 3. On a bus, train - public transport (From a chat between two individuals travelling on the same ride, anything can develop) 4. On a plane (reasons same as above) 5. Via social network (facebook, twitter, bebo etc might be good ways of coming in contact with potential life partners. Friendship can develop and through this, anything is possible) 6. Via introduction (From a friend, a family member, your pastor etc.) This forms one of the best ways of meeting a potential suitor; afterall, those who are closest to you should know what is best for you anyway. 7. Through internet dating websites (This hitherto unpopular mode of meeting is now proving quite popular. Even dating websites now advertise openly on telly and radio) 8. In a supermarket 9. In a restaurant (The atmosphere might create a romantic spark between two singletons) Best of all, be prayerful ![]() |

I have an uncle who confided in me over this problem he has with his wife. He happens to be a contractor. He gets building contracts from the government. He says one day his wife told him that whenever he is going to bid for a contract, he must make love with her that very day before going out. She warned him that if he fails to do so, he would lose the contract he is bidding for. My uncle decided to dare her. Whenever he goes to bid for a contract without making love to his wife before going out, he always looses the contract to his rivals. So he now decided to heed his wife's warning. Anytime he has a contract he is going to bid for, he makes love with her before going out and to his surprise, whenever he does this, he gets the contract. Now he is scared of his wife. Please advice. What should he do? ![]() |
