bisi ibidapo obe and lola alao - birds of the same feather ![]() |
For those of you who have been erroneously quoting Proverbs 18:22, here are two alternatives to that scripture One night as I lay in bed, I yearned for my lover. I yearned for him, but he did not come. 2 So I said to myself, “I will get up and roam the city, searching in all its streets and squares. I will search for the one I love.” So I searched everywhere but did not find him. 3 The watchmen stopped me as they made their rounds, and I asked, “Have you seen the one I love?” 4 Then scarcely had I left them when I found my love! I caught and held him tightly, then I brought him to my mother’s house, into my mother’s bed, where I had been conceived. Songs of Solomon 3:1-4 1 In that day seven women will take hold of one man and say, “We will eat our own food and provide our own clothes; only let us be called by your name. Take away our disgrace!” isaiah 4:1 Bottom line is, contrary to what some people would have you believe, the bible supports a woman wooing a man |
Whoever posted these pictures is silly. The pictures are same pictures taken over and over again from different angles . The camera has been strategically positioned to give a good view When are we going to stop celebrating mediocrity in Nigeria ? ![]() |
this topic has been recycled over and over again but i always enjoy commenting on it whenever it comes up. It's 2012 for goodness sake! There is no rule book that says a man must be the one to approach you. My observation is, a lot of African ladies have confidence issues and they try to cover that with the one liner "he will think i'm cheap". Approaching a man makes things easier for both of you and that gives you an added advantage of chosing what you like for yourself rather than waiting for fate to thrust something on you. I would say though that a lady should study the level of maturity of the man involved before making a move cause some men do not have the mental capacity to handle such. Also if you are not confident enough to say what is on your mind, you can at least give the man hints of your feelings towards him and then allow him to decide if he wants to make a move or not. If he decides not to, you still have your dignity intact |
2sexy: According to the last article I read, he did state his illness as a factor and that it's more spiritual than physical because doctors couldn't find what was wrong with him. I missed him too.let's start by having his number |
Thanks Mukina for putting this on the front page though it seem few undesirable elements have been commenting. People talk about "Mo Sori Ire" but his song "Gbemileke" is one of the most inspirational songs I have ever heard. Personally, I think he is been attacked spiritually by some folks in the music industry who see him as a threat and he has lost the drive for music. I hope the words of his song "Gbemileke" comes true for him ![]() |
What's the relevance of the question ?? ![]() |
i hope the moderators pick this up and put it on the front page. I have been pondering on this question ![]() |
taharqa: Then its such a shame. Why then did they 'people' vote him again? Didnt they learn their lesson the 1st time around?Putting "people" in inverted comma shows you know the answer to the question. Did they "vote" him or he rigged himself in ? |
brentkruge: For a man who was a civil servant ALL his life and now owns a plane (even if na tokunbo and a one engine Cessna), tell me that money grows on trees in his village. Mtsscheeeewwww. His official salary as a Governor is not up to N2m a month. In our haste to criticise let us be objective. I read on a newspaper article posted on this thread that the state government owned two jets and he bought another two when he became governor, which might be what he was flying when the accident occurred ![]() |
She's pretty !!! |
brentkruge: Having the name Dan-Fulani may just be an appendage at a young age that stuck. I know such names are given to light fellows who are thought to resemble fulani.Except you are the state accountant , how did you know he stole government money ?? ![]() |

It may be the deputy governor who was impeached three weeks ago who jazzed him ![]() |
has anyone noticed that the common denominator in all these stories is that they woman left after all the effort. Imagine a guy dying because he was writing an exam for you and yet you denied the guy. The moral is, it's foolishness to try and impress a lady by punishing yourself. She won't see you are being loving but would see you as a mumu. Just be yourself - what will be will be ![]() |
elari: Not using a condom because she claimed she wasn't enjoying it, that action gave me candidaisis, the itching after 2 days na die. Which she leta claim would be from the girls hostels toilet and not her skankerous attitudewas she a call girl? |
like aomeone said, it's high level prostitution. Virginity should be a special, priceless gift which you give to some you cherish not something you sell. The fact that she felt it's something that can be sold for money shows her thinking is twisted ![]() |
you can, but you should not show it or else it will cause problems between the kids as in the case of the biblical jacob and esau ![]() |
i have a good one - pour some super glue in a container and give it to her as a gift, telling her that's the latest brand of lip gloss ![]() |
190-the-clown:There is nowhere is the story where it was stated that he was given the water he requested for ![]() |
yes when i watched 'titanic' |
this is my third posting on this thread, which just shows how irritated i am by this guy's trick. The more i watch the video, the more obvious the trick becomes. Did you guys notice how heavily edited the video was? The scenes were cut quickly to prevent the audience from seeing the "miracle". And why was he walking slowly and in a straight line? NB: There is no big deal in walking on water. Jesus Christ Himself encouraged us to do it because he said greater things than he did shall we also do (John 14:12). Don't forget Peter did it too (Matthew 14:29), so walking on water is no big deal as far as Jesus is concerned but trying to trick people into believing he (the scam artist aka magician) is doing something which he is in actual fact not doing is what is wrong ![]() |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=422M4WixG9I this video will explain clearer how the scam artist "walked" on water. if you observe the video clearly, you will realise he stood still at a spot until the boat got to him. If truly he walked on water, he should have walked to meet the boat rather than waiting for the boat to come to him. Like i said in my earlier post, he stood still at a point because he knew within himself that he was exhibiting a trick and he couldn't move beyond that point ![]() |
anybody who believes this trash needs to be flogged. It's easy to see that it's a trick if you watch the video. He was walking on something, probably glass which explains why he couldn't walk comfortably. He could only manage his trick for one minute and at a point he stood still and couldn't move further because he knew he couldn't go further. What's more, the bottom part of his trousers were wet, which was an indication that we was walking on something ![]() |
Bola Ige (of blessed memory) lost to Omololu Olunloyo ![]() |
whoever wrote this is silly. Gbenga Adeyinka and Basket Mouth are both married ![]() |
God, why did you allow this kind of thread to be created on Nairaland? ![]() |
RIP Sheila! 'to ba dele ko ki baba re eniyan rere, yee yee yee yee eniyan rere' |
How can Wizkid who has been around since 2010 be revelation of the year ? And what happened to Olamide ? It seems the organisers tried to please all the popular guys by giving them at least one award each |
