When I started reading the thread, I was anxious to see the pictures of the 'wreck'. By the time I scrolled down to the pictures, I found a car that still looked better (in its 'unwashed/filthy') state than many vehicles on Lagos roads ![]() Keep up the good work bro Nice! |
What is your budget? |
Hmmm, loving the plate number ![]() |

Carshopper, I just stumbled on this thread again (Nostalgia)Would you believe I just changed the battery of the car last week? The only other stuff I've changed are the front brake pads, tyres, horn and regular service parts etc No major issues or problems to date! ! !

Check that the ATF (Transmission fluid) is up to the required level. If it is, it may be worn out so you may need to drain it and replace with ORIGINAL fluid! |
I have added your BB |

My Dear Friend There are power (sic) bikes for sale everywhere. I can probably point you in the right direction. But first; did you hear about the chap that passed away on the 3rd Mainland Bridge about 10 days ago? He was returning to the mainland from work @ about 20h00 and he met his end in an incident that allegedely involved a stationary vehicle and a BRT bus. His wake-keep was yesterday (14th) and he left behind a wife and an 8month old daughter. So make sure you know EXACTLY what you are doing before you embark on this VERY RISKY adventure. PS: I own and ride a 2008 1000cc bike Shagati |
Holding intimacy as a precondition for anything is wrong in a relationship such as marriage. He didnt marry you because you're the best he has ever had He married you because of the complete package, companionship, wit, intellect etc. The sex is just the icing on the cake Intentionally witholding intimacy is to me demeaning, degrading and childish. Are you trying to tell me that the best way to punish me is blue balls? Men go through life sowing their oats in a myriad of fields, it would now be very unfortunate that this is happening with someone he has decided to spend the rest of his days with. Denying a chap intimacy will only likely backfire in the wife's face. To be forewarned. . . . . . . . . A very pained Shagati |
Guess the Honda bit is a typo. It is a Civic, the Title of the post confirms it 50,000km not miles That's eqiv to 31k miles |
The Honda Goldwing seem like the bike i will like to have. They are reputed to be very comfortable. Especially on long rides.
Hmmm Goldwing! ! ! ? Sincere advice to you is. . . . scrap the thought of the Goldwing and dont fall into the trap of the chap that bought a Yamaha FJR Automatic as his first bike. FJR weighs in at a princely 270kg! ! ! ! My bike (2008 Yamaha R1) weighs 186kg (dry weight) and up to 200kg with oils, fluids and petrol. This is considered a lightweight bike as it is a thoroughbred track bike and sholud be so to be able to attain speeds of nearly 300km/h. Now the Goldwing? That's another story entirely. You need at least some experience to be able to even sit on the Goldwing and keep it upright! I am not kidding ![]() As a first time rider, I recommend the Yamaha FZ1 (1000cc) or the FZ6 (600cc). They are street fighers and are very good as first bikes. Do some more research in terms of the above and let me know what your take is Yes I am a regular rider (At least 150km on weekends - I dont ride to work during the week) |
![]() Yes Yes Yes |
Where is Kunle-A? |
