The owner has asked for a token-ish amount to let "a part of him go" (in his own words) and I am very willing to undertake the financial aspect of this project. I am a bit "techy" (mostly in my mind though ) so it is more than unlikely that I would be handling any of the physical mechanical work personally. So with the proper support all round, I am sure we can make this a reality yes? Pictures to follow shortly |
A brief history of the Car according to the owner. It was bought brand new from the Audi Centre (Stallion Motors) in 2003 Mileage is about 90,000km (couldn't verify this) Air suspension's gone (will post pictures in a few moments) One of the Turbos is gone Leatherwork could use some care Bodywork requires minimal attention Alloys slightly scuffed but not irredeemable Interior is fair considering that the car has been parked and exposed to the elements for more than a few months So where do we go from here? |
I visited a friend's friend a couple of weeks ago and I saw this vehicle lying in his compound doing absolutely nothing! Siena's Audi A4 Project (that I thoroughly enjoyed following) immediately sprang to mind. https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-471750.0.html Now the questions are: Can we replicate a Siena Project here in Lagos with the limited access to parts and expertise and come up with something crisp and sparkling just like the Master (I do not use this term lightly) did in the UK? Can I suitably interest Mr Audi himself, SIENA to participate and support this project? (To be honest, I have contacted him privately and this post is to show that we are serious ) |
Serious seller, details and pictures please! ![]() |
OP, Sorry for your loss. Note though that propensity for excellence and deviousness exists in every human being Not appropriate to generalise on sensitive issues like this Cheers nate ![]() |
Very funny ![]() Also lending credence to the fact that women are usually unclear in exactly what they want Nice one! |
Could it be because the car is sourced from Europe? Do you please have access to the European database? Has the VIN likely been tampered with? I did try to enter the vin myself on various sites but it kept returning an error message Thanks |

Do you part spray vehicles or your equipment is suited to the whole car only? Car (Dark Grey 2008 Accord) is spanking clean but the Mrs had an argument with the gate while driving into the compound so there is a small dent in the front left fender that needs to be beaten and sprayed it's located at Plot 33 Ojota mechanic Village near Motorways Plaza LagosIs it the Mech village @ the end of Ikosi road before you exit onto 7up? If yes, I know the place and I am located just a few blocks away Shagati |

Check this out: https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-761728.0.html I have no affiliation whatsoever to the seller Shagati |
How much bro? |
Hmmm 2.5m is a VERY GOOD budget to get a VERY GOOD sample here in Nigeria Trust me! Removes the hassles of waiting and getting disappointed. I'd rather buy an already landed car regardless of potential savings on self import/pre-order My opinion though. |
Glad to be of service ![]() I wish Sienna would comment here too. His middle name is Volkswagen/Audi ![]() |
I currently drive a 2009 Jetta bought brand new from Stallion Motors Anytime I go in for scheduled service, I ususally sound out the owners of Passats and the general consensus is the same. Most will never touch a non-German car again! ![]() 1)is it a good car??El fantastico! Gives you a driving experience different from the good ol' Japs 2)what are the pros and cons associated with the car?All pros, little cons. Try driving it in Sport mode and truly you will become a believer. Once waded through widscreen high water for over 100m in Lekki and came out on top. I actually led the way for some chicken SUV drivers who only ventured in after they saw a VW do it and succeed. Only issue was that the horn failed for all of 3minutes after which it started working PERFECTLY to date 3)is it expensive to maintain?, with respect to fuel consumption?Great fuel consumption in economy mode. Thirsty in sport mode but you wont care cos of the adrenaline rush! 4)are the parts readily available and do they come cheap?Parts available everywhere from the main dealerships to Ladipo, Ikeja, Lawanson, Oyingbo etc etc 5)any other advise will be appreciatedTake advantage of superior German technology Shagati |
You need to program the key (and get a programmed spare as well) Call Key Remotes on 07057222508 or 08029990359 Tell him you got his details from Shagati I just replaced the keys for my 2008 Accord on Saturday 3rd Sept. The process of cutting and programming takes less than 10minutes I started getting my keys from him in 2008 and he hasnt dissapointed till date Goodluck Shagati |
Usury ( /ˈjuːʒəri/[1] is the practice of charging excessive, unreasonably high, and often illegal interest rates on loans.[2][3] Originally, when the charging of interest was still banned by Christian churches, usury simply meant the charging of interest at any rate (as well as charging a fee for the use of money, such as at a bureau de change). In countries where the charging of interest became acceptable, the term came to be used for interest above the rate allowed by law. The term is largely derived from Christian religious principles; Riba is the corresponding Arabic term and ribbit is the Hebrew word http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usury Please click on the wikipedia link and learn more Most people arguing for and against Islamic Banking (I prefer to call it interest free banking) are arguing from positions of ignorance. Simply research upon the topic and you will be amazed at the insight you will receive Ps: I am NOT a muslim but I am all in support of an interest free banking platform in Nigeria. It is aimed at developing small to medium scale enterprises and big business will (should) not benefit from it. And guess what? ? ? It will profit the part of the country that has ALWAYS benefitted from commercial buoyancy more than the other parts of Nigeria. Research, research and more research! Shagati |
