My seats are not assigned. I rarely share any issues i have, somehow i try to deal with them as i go. I might later on,after years or so share it as a story and someone usually gets irritated i didnt tell them |
Well man i dont think if school or education can make us wealth or rich, but being educated is like u have the tool to use for living, coz education makes man to be creative and think a lot to do new things, but human, we are all equal to opportunities is something that god endowed with us, and knowing people is like you have network and itz possible u can be enabled to climp the lad by others as bridge |
realy i dont know wat Means |
yeah Labelling some one ask me be4 |
Labelling! |
I do understand that our mothers have been through alot and want us to be safe, but in their fear, they take it too far. It's not fair to young naija girls to not be able to do ANYTHING in life while their brothers can do whatever they want. Religion IS used as an excuse because they always talk about the adventures they had in naija. You hear about, "i went to such and such concert, and we did this that and the other" but because we are in a foreign country they think that we have no self control or anything. If you don't give your child any sort of trust, they WILL rebel and do everything you DONT want them to do. It's not fair to young naija girls because they never ASKED to be in this country. They never asked for a war to happen and for their lives to be in the west. I know so many girls who are trying. We are all trying. When you have to mix your languages because your mother tongue is fading and you've spent your entire life in an english speaking country and you are trying to be a good Muslim but everything around you is making it difficult, shouldn't your mother, the person who is supposed to be there for you the most, try to adapt a little and understand what is going on in your world? It's hard, but i think it's also a parent's responsibility to understand all the pressures we face. Immigration comes with assimilation and accommodation. If we were in naija, none of this would be a problem, but since we are in a "hony" world, everything is a problem. I think instead of fear mongering and driving both your daughter and yourself crazy, the best thing to do would just be educate about the issues and trust your child. naija mothers don't talk to their girls about anything. They don't talk to them about puberty changes, about boys, about sex, about anything. All that is soooo tuch, how can you blame a girl if she finds her sources in other places? Or if she finds herself in a situation that she never knew anything about? |
@Wtf nav So, please, don't assume you know everything about something that you've never lived. Some people use Islam as an excuse to really make their daughter's somewhat of a slave to them. There is a difference between living a normal Islamic life and being able to enjoy life's pleasures, and absolutely being caged in and being USED in every aspect of the word because of gender, culture and society. I really don't like it when people think they KNOW something that they will NEVER live and have NEVER lived. Unless you can walk in the sho.es of these girls, you really don't have too much to say about them |
I will give the mony later i dint havit naw It's interesting because young naija men have absolutely no pressures put on them. No one expects anything from them. The girls are raised to have no lives and never ever be able to leave the house just to have some normal okay fun, but the guys can do whatever they want, whenever they want simply because of their gender. You ask any naija mother why her son is out at all hours of the night and she will tell you its because he is a boy. That makes me question many things. If a naija mother doesn't know how to parent her teenage son by giving him limitations and giving him ambitions to live up to, where exactly is the father to do this? Why can't he step in and be a good role model for his son? The mother herself is brainwashed into believing the double standard that if a girl has the slightest bit of fun she will become a wh.ore, but where is the father to say that a boy needs limits?I know a family who has a 20 yr old daughter. Her mother calls her every 20 minutes if she is just out running errands. If she is at school, she is expected to be home within 10 minutes. This girl has lie about doing something so simple like going to the movies just so she can catch a break every once in a while. Her brother is in 10th grade. Since last year, he's been coming home at 2 or 3 in the morning. On the weekends, he doesnt even come home sometimes. I think that kid is going to rape someone soon. He is sooooo vicious when it comes to girls that it really scares me. No one cares about his actions or behaviors. He has a phone and computer he's never worked for and all the money he wants when he demands it. How does that make sense at all |
i already missing her now |
interesting i cant wait her |
wtf is miss b ![]() |
I think parents' are supportive of their daughters furtherin' their education than they are with their sons. However, sisters can easily manipulate the situation to their own advantage I know of a gal who wanted to settle down with brother, however her parents' refused based on the grounds that he didn't pursue a degree. She sided with her mother and father, and her soon-to-be husband was left with no choice but to enroll in a local university. He's obtained his degree in engineering, enjoys his new career and they're happily married People respond to incentives. If educated naija chicks don't settle, brothers will be left with three options: go somewhere overseas and purchase a wife, then wait somewhere between 6 months and 3 years till the package arrives; marry a non-naija or land a degree/doctorate/masters. p.s. Men who endorse this whole 'get that gwap, hustle hard, push weight' mentality that's glorified and celebrated in the hip hop realm need come to terms with the fact that it's a facade. It's not applicable to naija. Pick up a book and read. |
Letting her know what he's doing is one thing, asking for permission is another thing. Marriage is based on communication among other things, letting her know what he's doing is perfectly normal. Besides, I doubt there's a 9ja woman who can 'refuse' her husband to do such a thing and if there's such a man out there, then the focker deserves to be controlled. She might as well castrate him physically |
me and my friend we talking about virginity and he believe da virginity is not a dignity is just luck off opportunity so what u people think |
hey how Y'all doing, I just want 2 ask Y'all if it's normal 2 beat ur little bro or sister some times, I'm very temperaturefull person, and i quickly get angry if someone did omething 2 me, i have a cute 14 years little bro, he's nice, but he doesn't respect me sometimes, if he argues or says words back 2 me, i got mad and start beating him, it really gets on me, and i feel unconfortable about it, i don't wanna hit him, i regrat everytime i did, you know, he's born and grown up in here, and we all know how kids like him think, he might think that i hate him, whcih I'm not, i really love him, and don't wanna hit him, so what am trying 2 do is, what should i do 2 handle my temperature, and show him my love? |
I wonder what you guys think, I would never marry someone who is not 9ja. I believe Marriage is not only between me and my husband. Cause you also marry his family and he marry's mine 2. And Marriage IN MY EYES will only work if you share the same , and cultur. Ive seen before my 2 friends got married and yes they are divorce now, and yh plenty thing happend. n, the basic is they dont understand 9ja cultur. Q: Would you marry non 9ja Guy-Girl? |

Imagine you are with a group of people either in a classroom or even a meeting, suddenly the teacher/chair asked certain questions and every body nodded their head but you didn't get it, you have no clue what was asked, you raise your hand and say, "At the risk of sounding like an idiot, I don’t know what that question means or what CRM mean, can you explain?. The Teacher/chair then elaborates and you see a sign of quiet calm come over all of the people that now know what the question was, because you asked. They wouldn’t risk looking like an idiot or risk showing a sign of weakness, but you actually showed a sign of strength. Have you even been in a classroom and you didn't get the topic that was taught but didn't asked a questions? if your answer is yeas then you are not alone, Have you ever felt awkward when you r asked a question that you don't know? well if you did you need to change you attitude, asking questions and saying i don't know is the key of gaining knowledge. if you ask a foolish question you will be a fool for a moment but if you don't ask you will be a fool for ever. If you don't know or don't understand say i don't know and ask who ever is asking the question to explanation |
Mine is called "A blond goes on who wants to be a Millionaire" " Regis: "Barbara, you've done very well so far - $500,000 and one lifeline left -- phone a friend. The next question will give you the top prize of One Million dollars if you get it right , but if you get it wrong you will drop back to $32,000 -- are you ready?" Barbara: "Sure, I'll have a go!" Regis: "Which of the following birds does not build it's own nest? Is it, A-Robin B-Sparrow C-Cuckoo D-Thrush Remember Barbara its worth 1 Million dollars." "I think I know who it, but I'm not 100%, No, I haven't got a clue. I'd like to phone a friend Regis, just to be sure. Regis: "Yes, who, Barbara, do you want to phone? Barbara: "I'll phone my friend Maggie back home in Birmingham." (ringing) Maggie (also a blonde): "Hello, " Regis: "Hello Maggie, its Regis here from Who Wants to be a Millionaire-I have Barbara here and she is doing really well on $500,000, but needs your help to be a Million. The next voice you hear will be Barbara's and she'll read you the question. There are 4 possible answers and 1 correct answer and you have 30 seconds to answer -- fire away Barbara." Barbara: "Maggie, which of the following birds does not build it's own nest? Is it: A-Robin B-Sparrow C-Cuckoo D-Thrush" Maggie: "Oh Gees, Barbara that's simple, It's a Cuckoo." Barbara: "You think?" Maggie: "I'm sure." Barbara: " Thanks Maggie." (hangs up) Regis: "Well, do you want to stick on $500,000 or play on for the Million, Barbara?" Barbara: "I want to play, I'll go with C-Cuckoo" Regis: "Is that your final answer?" Barbara: "It is." Regis: "Are you confident, Barbara: "Yes fairly, Maggie's a sound bet. Regis: "Barbara, you had $500,000 and you said C-Cuckoo , you're right! - You have just won ONE MILLION DOLLARS. Here is your check. You have been a great contestant and a real gambler. Audience please put your hands together for Barbara." (clapping) That night Barbara calls round to Maggie and brings her down to a local bar for a celebration drink and, as they are sipping their Champagne, Barbara turns to Maggie and asks "Tell me Maggie, How in God's name did you know that it was the Cuckoo that does not build its own nest? Maggie: "Listen Barbara, everybody knows that a Cuckoo lives in a clock." I got this from a website and found it so funny Just imagine it would happen to someone for real ![]() |
WHat do women want? When did women become so specific that they operate the same wave length at all times? Some men convinced themselves that all women want the same thing, crasy. No two women want the same things no matter what aspect u mention,be it in life and in their partners. Every individual is somewhat different, at least i believe that |
i ill save myself first then think about others |
