Fireboy DML’s single “Party Scatter” has made the soundtrack for a football simulation game, FIFA 21.
“‘Scatter’ on @EASPORTSFIFA FIFA 21, get the soundtrack playlist on all DSPs game officially out on the 9th of October,” the singer tweeted on his handle, Monday.


The Nigerian is one of the few artists featured in the main soundtrack of FIFA 21 and is the first person from the West African country to achieve such feat for the game which is set to be launched on the 9th of October 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

A 29-year-old Nigerian man, identified as Usman Muhammed, has been arraigned in a Kwara state high court for allegedly posing as a lady and using nude pictures to dupe men.

Muhammed was sentenced to six months imprisonment by the presiding judge, Justice Sikiru Oyinloye.



According to report, the convict who is an internet fraudster pretending to be female was arrested in his house in Abeokuta.



It was learnt that MUhammed uses female nude photos sourced online to fraudulently obtain money from unsuspecting internet users

The 29-year old internet fraudster, was arraigned over an offence punishable under Section 95 of the Penal Code Laws of Northern Nigeria.

The charge reads,

“That you, Usman Muhammed (a.k.a Adepeju Omolara and Guns Omolara Valle), sometime in February, 2020 or thereabout at Ilorin, Kwara State, within the jurisdiction of his honourable court, attempted to commit an offence of cheating by impersonation by pretending and representing yourself to be a woman called Omolara Adepeju and Guns Omolara Valle, to unsuspected men on social media as it contained in both your Facebook and WhatsApp conversations on your phone and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 95 of the Penal Code Laws of Northern Nigeria.”

He however pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to six month imprisonment or he pays a fine of N50,000 (Fifty Thousand Naira only ) within 24 hours.

The kidnappers of a retired United States of America Army officer, Major Jide Ijadare, have demanded a sum of N20 million for his release.

Recall that gunmen abducted Ijadare and one of his staff on Tuesday, September 15, around 2:05 pm at his palm-oil producing factory located along Ijan-Ise road in Ijan Ekiti, Gbonyin Local Government area of Ekiti State. A man identified as a contractor with the factory was shot.

Pope Francis was seen Wednesday for the first time wearing a protective face mask as he attended his second traditional general audience before a limited public presence after a six-month suspension.

The pontiff — known for a fondness for close personal contact — however quickly removed the mask as he emerged from the car carrying him to the audience, which was suspended in February over the coronavirus pandemic.



But he shunned his usual practice of shaking hands and kissing babies as some 500 faithful filled a courtyard at the Apostolic Palace inside the Vatican.

At his second meeting since suspending general audiences on February 26, the crowd thronged behind a barrier and some even lowered their masks to greet the leader of the Roman Catholic Church.

The pope shook hands with prelates attending the audience and, smiling, then turned to the crowd, urging them not to shake hands and to return to their seats in order to “avoid contagion”.



Francis focused on the socio-economic impact of the pandemic which he said was “without barriers”.

He advocated a society in which people should have more solidarity with their neighbours.

Jennifer Gobrecht, a woman told by doctors at age 17 that she was unlikely to have a child because she was born without a womb, has welcomed a child after having a womb transplant from a deceased donor.

Jennifer, 34, has Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome, a congenital condition which occurs in 1 in every 14,500 women.



She had no idea there was anything different about her, until she hadn’t started her periods at 17. She went to the doctors and was sent for a scan which revealed the devastating diagnosis.

She was broken by the news because she always wanted kids of her own. A couple of years later, she met student Drew and they began dating. She was upfront with him about her condition so he knew what he was signing up for.

They got married in 2014 and people began talking, asking when they would have kids. Some told Drew he could have chosen better but he insisted it's Jennifer he wants.

They both knew from the start they wanted children so started IVF in 2016, creating 10 frozen embryos. They even started talking to surrogate agencies.

The was mild drama in Lafia, Nasarawa State, after a mechanic, John Simon drove a customer’s car to a brothel in the New Nyanya and it got stolen.

It was gathered that Simon was in the middle of an overnight (Till daybreak) romp with a sex worker known as Stella Emeerga, when the Toyota Camry 2014 model, was stolen by three men in connivance with Emeerga.



Simon, a father of two, stopped by at the brothel while transporting the car to Abuja to be delivered to his customer who is a car dealer.



Amid his drunken state in the brothel, one of the accomplices reportedly sneaked in to the room and picked the car key on the floor.

When he woke up at dawn and did not find the car where it was parked, Simon reported the incident at the New Nyanya Police Station and he and Emeerga were arrested.

After months of investigation at the station without headway, the owner of the car was said to have petitioned the Inspector-General of Police, Mohammed Adamu, and the case was transferred to IG’s Intelligence Response Team.

Corneal neovascularisation is a condition where, if the oxygen supply to the cornea is cut off (say, by a little plastic disc), then the body compensates for the lack of oxygen by growing new blood vessels over the cornea to provide more oxygen to the eye. This can result in a clouded cornea and can even lead to total blindness in some cases.

So, with that in mind, if you are a contact lens wearer then you should already know that your optician’s advice is to wear them for no more than 8 hours a day, and to take longer, regular, breaks to wear your glasses instead. If you are not doing this then you are destroying your eye health and you should begin doing so immediately. Respect the lens.

2. Going zombie in front of your computer screen

Staring at your computer screen for protracted periods of time can hurt your eye health in two major ways. Firstly, it can weaken your eye muscles. If you spend ten or twelve hours a day staring at a fixed point, from a fixed distance, on a digital screen, then your eye muscles will not receive the work-out they crave. A newborn baby was found in a black plastic bin bag with a rusty knife sticking out of her back.

The baby, believed to be two days old, was rescued after a passer-by heard her cries in the city of Posadas in the north-eastern Argentine province of Misiones.


The passer-by named Diego Sebastian Penayo opened the bag and found that the infant had been stabbed multiple times, and the rusty blade was still sicking out of the baby’s back.

Diego, a 31-year-old personal trainer, took the baby girl to a nearby police station and from there she was rushed to hospital.

Doctors were shocked to find multiple knife wounds on the little girl’s tiny body, and she needed urgent medical treatment.

Fortunately most of the stab wounds were superficial and no major organs were affected.

Two of the baby’s ribs had also been broken.


Despite that, the little girl is said to be making a good recovery such that nurses at the Hospital Maternal Neonatal have started calling her Milagros – ‘Miracle.’

David Halac, an administrator at the hospital, told reporters that the baby is now breathing unaided but she is being treated with strong antibiotics to reduce the risk of infection.

He added that the hospital is in no rush to discharge her until the legal situation of the child’s guardianship is resolved.


Police say that they have traced the baby’s mother and she is currently in custody.

A professor of African and Latin American studies, who has always pretended to be a Black woman, has now revealed she has been living a lie.

Jessica A. Krug, an associate professor at George Washington University has been claiming to be of Black and Latina heritage. She has written extensively about Africa, Latin America, the diaspora and identity

However, in an article published on Medium.com on Thursday, September 3, Krug revealed the truth that she is a White Jewish woman.

She began in the article: "For the better part of my adult life, every move I’ve made, every relationship I’ve formed, has been rooted in the napalm toxic soil of lies."

"To an escalating degree over my adult life, I have eschewed my lived experience as a white Jewish child in suburban Kansas City under various assumed identities within a Blackness that I had no right to claim: first North African Blackness, then US rooted Blackness, then Caribbean rooted Bronx Blackness," she wrote.

Krug acknowledged in her post that she had no right to claim these identities, saying that "doing so is the very epitome of violence, of thievery and appropriation, of the myriad ways in which non-Black people continue to use and abuse Black identities and cultures."

She apologized for her "continued appropriation of a Black Caribbean identity," saying she was wrong, unethical, immoral, anti-Black and colonial.

"I am not a culture vulture," she wrote. "I am a culture leech."

Her revelation came as a shock to her students who believed she was indeed an Afro-Latina woman. Twitter users were also shocked and have been discussing Krug on the platform.

China has opened a 5G-covered road in the Baohe district of Hefei City in the eastern part of the country for testing self-driving cars.

The 4.4 km road was opened on Thursday, September 3, 2020, and will be open to both self-driving vehicles and cars with drivers.

Construction on the road started in August 2019 and has since achieved 5G coverage, with the installation of road conditions monitoring devices and a cloud platform control center built.

It was revealed by the construction unit that self-driving cars could realize intelligence on the road and that 5G technology has significantly improved the safety of vehicle operation.

More than a dozen Chinese cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen have been approved to conduct road tests for self-driving cars.
