Assalam alaikum to my brothers and sisters in Islam, I saw a thread about someone claiming to work in a hotel and also be the one in charge of alcoholic department, this topic relate to my issue,my own issues is that I own an hotel of few rooms,we run a lodging and Shortime service and the truth is dat 90 percent of my customers are not married as husband and wife especially my Shortime customers, thou some people lodge as a single guest. I don't knw what to do,as I don't have any means of surviving, should I shutdown my business or what?pls help me out with fact.

No fewer than 35 persons watching the Europa League football match between Manchester United and Anderlecht perished in Calabar on Thursday evening.
A survivor told one of our correspondents that a transformer near the viewing centre located in the Iyang - Esu area of the Calabar Municipal Local Government Area exploded during the match and this caused a high -tension cable to drop on the viewing centre .
The survivor said amid sobs, “ It happened during the match between Manchester United and Anderlecht . I heard a deafening bang . I rushed out to see what was happening . When I turned back to go inside the viewing centre , I saw a cable coming down on the centre and this electrocuted the viewers in the hall .
“ It was a horrible sight to behold . I wish I didn’ t come out to watch the match . Come to think of it, I have DStv at home but I enjoy watching matches at viewing centres. I could have been dead. I can ’t believe that the people I was chatting and joking with a few minutes ago are all gone in a most anguishing way . This world is vain. ”
A resident , who spoke on condition of anonymity, said more than eighty persons were in the hall when the cable came down .
The resident said , “The whole thing happened within a minute or two. It happened about 9 : 48 pm. Those that died have been taken to the mortuary . A few that survived have been taken to hospitals . ”
The Police Public Relations Officer , Cross River State Command , Irene Ugbo, confirmed the incident .
She said the number of casualties would be confirmed on Friday (today ) .

A few days after seizing a huge cash from a plaza in Lagos, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, on Monday uncovered another N250 million from the popular Balogun Market still in Lagos.
But just like the previous haul last week, the owner of the cash could not be identified.
The discover of the huge cash according to a statement by the EFCC’s Spokesman, Wilson Uwujaren, followed a tipoff by a whistle blower, whose information forced operatives to swoop on the market.
The cash, which belongs to an unnamed top official from one of the northern states, was to be changed into foreign currencies in the market in Lagos.
The breakdown of the money, which is worth N250 million at the current parallel market rate of N306 to the Dollar, was given by the anti-graft agencies as follows: €547,730, £21,090 and N5,648,500 .
Uwujaren said: “The intercept followed information that about N250 million cash was being moved somewhere in the market for conversion into foreign currencies by unnamed persons.
“Operatives responded timely, met the money in Bureau de Change office, but a large chunk of it had been converted into Euro and Pounds sterling.
“The BDC operators found in possession of the monies claimed they were acting on behalf of their boss who sent the money to them from one of the Northern states in Nigeria.
“Two persons apprehended in the course of the raid are helping the commission in its investigation.

Yesterday was the worst day in my life. I got to the park where I was to board a bus to my destination. Suddenly, I saw an elderly woman seriously complaining about her stolen phone. So I went close by to listen to what she was saying. At the same time, I was also downloading a PDF file on my phone.
Immediately she saw my phone, she told the crowd that, that was her phone which was a Samsung galaxy J2. For a moment I couldn't even open my mouth to say a word. I was so confused.
She held me and slapped me. The crowd attempted to beat me up but luckily a policeman was passing by and he came into the scene. He asked what was going on and I explained with tears all over my face. He sent me to the police station together with the woman and I still explained to the policeman that I was innocent.
So the policeman asked the woman to call her phone. She called and a girl picked, apparently it was her daughter. The girl told the woman that she left her phone at home when she was leaving to town.
Come and see me burst into more tears because I had already been disgraced. The policeman told the woman to settle me with some money. The woman wrote a cheque of 5.5million naira and was about to hand it over to me but it was just too much for me, so I just opened my eyes, stood up from my bed and went to urinate.
Please do you think I should go back to sleep?
