Be like you go like cooking, you can bring in Semo, Poundo Yam, Dried Ponmo, Provision, Maggi and Egusi, others you mentioned are relatively affordable here, imagine carrying rice that is expensive in Nigeria to were you will get it cheap, save the space for other things like dry fish, crayfish, Ogbono, and pepper My 2 cents though. You are like 9months already in the Uk. You should by now used up your POF. But you might need to show proof by attaching receipts and maybe your Uk bank statement to support your dependant application if you are asked to provide your own POF.

Greetings guys, please I'm in an urgent situation here, my course start date is May 2021 ,I'm already in the UK and I intend bringing my dependant to join me, my estimate for POF is 11.5 million outside London.
But a friend is telling me that despite I'm already in the UK I still have to include my living expenses to my dependant POF , he said its a new development to discourage recycling of POF, please I need your advice on this,money no easy

Hi guys, you’re doing an awesome job here and I have benefitted immensely from this forum, please I need your help if my calculation is right, by my understanding Total amount needed for POF for my dependent wife and two kids outside London, I’m planning to deposit £ 680 x 3 = £2,040 x 9 = £18,360.
the above will be 10,349,440 naira using Oanda.com calculation to convert to naira, but I intend to top it up with 500k naira because of fluctuation.
Please guys advise if I’m on the right track. Thanks

Happy Christmas to you guys ,please I was informed by the agent that helped me with my study visa today that ,dependant are now required to bring in 3 months POF if not the application will be rejected, he also told me the said 3 months POF its not I thier website,but that in practical /reality dependant visa will be rejected if its less than 3 months ,I'm in the UK already.he told me this started like 3 to 4 weeks ago,please guys with experience should advice. If i may ask the pof you submitted covers the 2 years fees + mtce fee or only the balance of the first year + maintenance fee after deducting the deposit?

My tuition fee is 12,600 pounds for the two years program and I paid 5,000 pounds deposit,the balanced tuition and maintenance fee was in my pof for 28 days

I believe you are fine. The main concern is that the balance all through the 32 days should be sufficient for ur maintenance+tuition fee balance. In fact I always advise that people should print 30days and it has worked for them excellently.

No. You can submit a qualifying bank statement of longer than 28 days with no problem whatsoever. They'll count back 28 days from the last transaction on the statement, if any.

I think we've had this before, and its been answered. As an aside, since people here are planning to move to the UK to school, learn to research. A lot of the information we ask here is available for free on www.gov.uk, and trust me that carries more weight than any answer you get from random people on the internet, because you can always screenshot it and keep it for future reference, or cite it in a cover letter ("In line with point 4.2 blablabla of the Student Visa guidance, I've provided bank statements....". That sort of thing shows the ECO you've done some homework
