For ur info, the only place most Edo people go to in South West is lagos and as at now, it is majorly populated by all tribes which contributed to its development and not Yorubas alone..
Lemme use ur logic... If ur South West is that bad... Why will ur people rush to Edo to be selling agbo... Is our place Dubai? Kerekere laho otewen

samuk: As of now we have an Oba of Lagos that said his ancestors were Benin. Nothing else matters. Anybody not happy with that can go to his palace and take up the issue with him. Him and his chiefs will continue to salute the Oba of Benin at their enuwa and not the Ooni or anyone else.
Even if the Oba of Lagos is not of Benin descent, the fact that him and his chiefs still regard and salute the Oba of Benin and see him as their royal father is good enough for Benin. |

davidmarker: 1) Benin city was burnt to ashes by the british, that included the palace of the Oba of Benin which was looted and set ablaze and totally destroyed by the british military upon their victory against the Benin army.
That is why a new palace was built by Oba Eweka II
2) ife was not destroyed nor burnt nor looted because the ife people and their ooni didn't put up any fight against the british, rather ife people served the british as soon as they met the british. Yet the current palace of the ooni of ife was built in 1932. A palace which was not destroyed, not burnt down, not looted, yet it was deemed by its main occupant as too backward ...leading to him building what they have in ife today.
3) Now how does a normal human being compare both cases and concludes it is the same ? I don't know, yoruba trolls don't follow logics. The fact is the ooni of ife's palace was a shit hole shrine before he built a new palace in 1932.

seunmsg: Are you aware Gowon struggled to fund his university education while in the UK? A reporter snapped him queuing for food at the university cafeteria and the picture trended all over the world. Murtala Mohammed was so embarrassed that he quickly dispatched TY Danjuma to London to beg him to return to Nigeria. Gowon refused to return and the decided to be paying t him pension and stipend so that he can fund his education properly.
When Obasanjo the payment of his pension and stipend as a result of the Dimka coup, Nigerians in the UK contributed money for him to finish his program.
So, how is it possible for Gowon to move half of CBN money to UK and still be struggling to fund his university education? Please zoom the second pix and see who you say they suffer, three plate of food for that matter and see smile for him face.... |

Bear in mind that from March to September, the Embassy was closed. So you can't count that period as part of the waiting time. 080bjaked: Just apply for a recall if you've sent multiple reminders and no feedback was provided.
Unless you don't have any use for it yet then you can let it chill with the embassy until you do.
Recall should take between 48-72hrs for your passport to be ready for pickup.
The embassy just wicked ni sha. The least they could have done is process the pending applications during lockdown and release the passport to their owners now but ofcourse, everyone takes Nigerians for granted. Thanks for your response, how do I recall my passport. |

sahedorf: Nigeria is never doing that because we have corrupt, selfish, satanic leaders occupying vital office in leading this country. We have bigger population with larger problems, for instance - forever war with boko haram which is supposed to be an history class now but they kept it pending for their selfish gains. Nigeria is never going to catch up with SA, it's the bitter truth we all know, so no need to compare and contrast with pictures. We have bigger problems than covid19 called Hugvid 20 meaning hunger virus disease 2020 lol We are been terrorised every day by young hungry boys via robbery for the past 5days in a row, no single police patrol nor assistance, we are ourselves security despite paying taxes. Lot of unending atrocities. So let us quit the hate games but love and support ourselves during this period. America didn't know they were ever gonna need Mexico nor China nor Cuba. I wish he visit SA,he will see the reason Nigerian will never come back home despite the xenophobic attack |

KingAzubuike: Same idiots that beat up taskforce officials yesterday must have felt they could take their game to a whole new level by confronting and challenging a soldier. Well ,you can kill him but just know that when you're back to your senses, it's an action you'll regret forever.
You kill one, they come back with a thousands and everything in that community will pay for it. Not even the houseflies will be spared.
By the way something about these warri people is that the slogan "warri no dey carry last" has gotten into their heads for so many years. Reason why they always try to form baddoo /gangster in anything. They never jam yet.
