GloriousGbola: Niger is the worlds largest source of uranium. All this green energy talk - the only truly cost effective non fossil fuel is nuclear energy. So a lot of nations would have been looking to Niger for uranium. And that includes China who are supporting a very broke Russia.
We cannot guarantee no further splinters in Niger. This is what happened in Sudan. The former janajwid are located around valuable resources. Next thing anyone who is in the vicinity of uranium mines will also start raising shoulder and then there is a civil war.
The reasons given by the military sound ridiculous to me. Claiming France was slowing down actions against terrorists. People usually give stupid excuses to back up their nonsense action, I'm not surprise. Though I am surprise about the rich deposit of Uranium in Niger. Was thinking the country didn't even have any natural resource. |

GloriousGbola: River Niger is dammed via kainjindam. River Niger passes through Niger. If Niger were to build a dam, kainji dam would be useless.
So there is an agreement that we supply them with energy.
If this junta is not shut down I expect Russia or china will dash them a dam Choi. Just when you think you hold the four aces, Niger might just show they have an ace up their sleeve. Lol. To me, I believe Asiwaju should have just mind his business, there is enough worry here for him to start disturbing himself about Niger and their coup. |

liveLongNprospa: Are you normal? So you are insulted for your choice of a president and your equivalent reply is to totally stop someone from voting by physically harming said individualz.
So for you, it's okay that people are heated and told "you look igbo and therefore you cannot vote here" because another man in igbo land was told "you nor dey shame as you vote for apc" after voting. Imagine your mindset. Being insulted and bullied for voting isn't so much as a big deal but being beaten and prevented from voting is a big deal? And you're here asking if I'm normal? I guess the judge that sentenced that blogger for cyber stalking Eniola Badmus should have her brain checked, because according to the likes of you, she didn't beat, neither did she main or kill Eniola Badmus. Imagine the narrow mindedness. Emaprince: Very weak rebuttal.
That man stood his ground and nobody touched him because yes, they aren't supposed to hurt voters.
Can you post videos from lagos polling units..so we can see blood on people's faces? Nobody touched him. Okay I believe you didn't watch the video. |

liveLongNprospa: Your twitter link is still the old man that voted and he was shamed for his choice.
He was allowed to vote without anybody stopping him. So what are you saying and you see nothing wrong with shaming the old man for his choice? His choice? His god given choice? And of course you didn't see how he was being harassed and the likes? Choi! 😁 |

They won Lagos state in the presidential election, they went haywire and started chanting and typing" "Lagos is no man's land" "Sanwo-Olu should be afraid, very afraid".
They came out en masse and showed them who owns the Lagos, now they started screaming and chanting tribalism and what have you. What do I have to say to such people, simple: "shut tha fvck up and take your L in pieces!". Life isn't that hard.
Lmfao. 😅😂🤣😁 |

liveLongNprospa: Lmao.
Anytime I see this I always laugh. Someone was allowed to vote and was shamed for that choice but nobody stopped him from voting.
You are comparing that to people being told "you look igbo, you can't vote"
The Sahara link you attached talked about people killed by UGM coz Simon ekpa declared no elections in the SE. How is that remotely the same thing with what is being said.
To tell you how watery your submission is, you posted one issue like 3 times.. Ahn ahn🤣 My submission isn't watery, it's just you stating your one sided opinion because it didn't suit your narrative. You've seen all this antics and semantic before. I'm sure you deliberately ignored the twitter link I posted for whatever reason is best known to you. You can can chose to believe whatever you want to believe. It's your choice, but, the fact still remain, bullying and beating up of voters was done mostly by the three major political party. Period. |
Travel › Re: Very Strange Nigerian Guy I Saw In Germany Who Japa Back To Naija by ShaqFu: 9:27pm On Aug 02, 2023 |
sukkot: So this is a very strange story which I think about till this day.
It was October 1st 2019 and I am coming to Nigeria with Lufthansa from Manchester and the stopover is Frankfurt. And so we get to Frankfurt and we had to ride this trolley tram bus thingy to our terminal.
That’s where I saw this character. He was sat in front of me clutching a small handbag. That’s all he had On him. His eyes looked cold and dead like someone who has seen everything there is to see in life and he had checked out of humanity. He had like a long Islam goatee. Young guy, maybe early thirties. He sat there and clutched his bag and stared with that dead empty look. He wasn’t being deported. He was on a voluntary journey of his own. I watched him for a little while but then we got to the terminal and alighted and I never saw him again.
I took the flight to naija. Got the cab at the airport and started the journey to the Airbnb I had booked in magodo. It was an evening and up in the sky were stork birds and eagles and the atmosphere was dusty looking as the sun was setting. So as I was in the car on the express about 3 miles away from the airport I saw someone climbing the dividers of the express way and trying to cross over to the other side to the bus stop to catch a bus , I adjusted my eyes very well and guess who it was? It was the strange guy who sat in front of me on the tram-bus in Frankfurt. He had absolutely no luggage with him. He had just the same small bag I saw him with and he was in the same clothes
Till today I always wonder what that guys story is . Did he actually walk out voluntarily on his own out of Frankfurt with a tiny bag and walk into the streets of ojota with nothing but the same bag and dangerously crossing the expressway ? Was he remote controlled into Nigeria ? It’s a very strange episode. I think of that guy to this day You should have spoken to him and just chat him up to clear the air and kill your curiosity. |

Adichie who didn't even vote and used the guise of having difficulty in securing her PVC, is the one showing her face in the tribunal to give support to Obi?
Her support would have been better apreciated, I'm sure if she had voted.
Let's wait, see and hear the judgment the tribunal will give. |

Ishilove: He was three years old. He was poisoned. The one that died a natural death was almost 17 years I remember a scene from All Dogs Go To Heaven, when a dog said a girl was only 12 years old, and another dog said that's 56 years in dog years. So this dog of yours that died at the age of 17 will be in it's late sixties or early seventies. Hmmm |

The first thing that stood out for me is the cinematography of this movie. The director was really intentional with his composition and framing.
Another thing I loved about this movie is how little dialogue was used. The director relied on silence, facial expressions and body language from the actors to tell the story. Ryan Gosling and Carey Mulligan really shined bright at this. The way they both used smile and other facial expression to express admiration for each other is remarkable. Also, Ryan did really great acting as the emotionless ruthless killer.
Other characters played by Ron Perlman and Albert Brooks were also men of action than men of words. I think only Bryan Cranston had more dialogue in the movie.
Another thing is that the movie starts a little bit slow then catches you off guard with series of bloody violent events.
I feel pacing is the major problem of this movie. I feel some scenes are a bit too slow and some are unnecessary. Many people may find the movie to be boring because of the little dialogue and bland main character. where did you download it from? |
