I decided to share my thoughts on the presidential election that will take place on Saturday. I have seen and read so many analysis from the ridiculous to the out rightly biased. I guess we all have. the ones that struck me most are the ones done by THE PUNCH, THE GUARDIAN AND VANGUARD and are mostly on their front pages.

The punch predicts a very close tie between the two of buhari and jonathan. but tips buhari
Vanguard clearly predicts a BUHARI victory
Guardian gives GEJ a resounding victory even winning the most states in the west weirdly.
Personally, I believe Nigeria deserves better than those two as It is obvious they are both not competent enough to rescue this country. I wanna see lagos go to PDP and FG go to APC. we need change both ways. Might be good for our democracy. I also think APC will have a better Team.

Definitely, the creeks will go haywire again, Buhari will send the troops to the creeks and together they will set the oil facilities ablaze.

While these persists, the oil producing companies will simply withdraw their personnel from the volatile region and all foreign investment will seize in all sectors.And even if the troops kill 90% of the militants, it will take just one militant, a dynamite and just one location along the multi- kilometre trunklines to continue to wreck havoc. 

Fast forward to 2019, if we remain one country and without a civil war,, we will be an economic wreck with no allocations and salaries, no capital projects, no hope with dollar exchanging for 400 naira and we are worse off than we were in 2015.

Cos the truth is that without crude proceeds for now, Nigeria is finished.

Recently a debate ensued between a sunday school teacher and some guys in my church in respect to the subject matter. The former opined that the bible is adamantly against the consumption of alcohol(Irrespective of the quantity consumed) while the latter were of the opinion that there's nothing wrong with a Christian drinking alcohol as long as it is consumed moderately.I could barely arrive at any reasonable conclusion after the debate as both parties didn't back up their assertions with bible verses that dealt extensively with the subject matter.
I thought I should move the discussion to nairaland perhaps some bible scholars in the forum can help do justice to the subject matter.
