A media house used a picture from their archive to
authenticate a news story,the said picture wasn't uploaded by Buhari or his cronies but by Guardian newspaper. But after a few ranting by a canterkerous misfit on Ado road,the Guardian newspaper posted an apology that they(not Buhari) used the picture in error. But because the enemies within wanted a slip from Buhari at all cost,they have been jumping on top of
d roof since,thinking they have scored a cheap political point.
From this saga, the following observations become imperative:
1.A media house can authenticate a story sometimes with available pix if they cant readily get an'on d scene pix.'
2.The first set of London pix uploaded by Buhari group
was d Twitter upload by Bukola Saraki. that was d group pix with Tony Blair.(perhaps dat was taken in Abuja too!)
3.Mr Tony Blair London office has since confirmed there
was indeed a meeting with GMB.Though the South West town crier said it was a poorly cropped photoshop pix.
4. All media houses dat used d pix of d said interview
actually got it from Guardian newspaper and not from Buhari or the APC.
5. One may not write off d possibility of complicity between Guardian newspaper and Fayose to use d pic to embarrass Buhari. This is Nigeria. Fayose was d first Nigerian to identify d very hotel room where d pix was taken. He is my state governor who is an ardent mischief maker. He can do it.
6. Even if Buhari actually went for treatment. Could it b out of place to seek medical check up after d gruelling campaigns across the country? Has a much younger GEJ or 'There ris God ooo' not gone for medical check up abroad a number of times before?
7.When has politics becomes trailing your opponents to
ascertain the name of the sachet water he drinks?
8. Left for Buhari,replying this campaigns of calumny is
like dignifying paper weight opportunists like Fani
Kayode,Obanikoro,Omisore et al. Once a General, always a General. He doesn't just talk.
9. I am not a politician or a member of any political party
but i began to have empathy and sympathy for the guy
Buhari because of d way his detractors are firing him with
