Is this how dumb Nairaland/Nairalanders have become?

I am not surprised. Afterall Ṣeun Oṣewa spends most of his time on "twitter", washing the feet of his feminist dominatrix.

May God have mercy on Seun and other tech entrepreneurs who have turned their social media technologies to a psychological operation which makes promising young minds become lazy, dumb and unintelligent.
So, why the Lamentation? That your life lacks fun doesn't mean other people can't catch fun to cushion the effects of the bad economy dear. Everyone can't be you oh.

It's like Nigerians like calling things (and even people) twice. I saw a post on Facebook asking for such names. See a long list oh! I'm surprised.

Please, add your own to the list. Don't spoil the show oh!

Good day everyone.
So, I want to get a mini bus for my business.
I am a newbie and don’t have any car currently. Although, I have learnt how to drive from a driving school.
I’m here to ask for the price of a mini bus so I don’t get ripped by dealers. I also want experts on this field to drop advice or tips that may be of help.
Go with a trusted mechanic for test-running. Get enough fuel for adequate test-running.

OldSkoolHeadBoy:
You guys are always quick to comment to rubbish your fatherland, without doing a critical thinking about the issues. Oil & Gas business is a semi-private initiative and if you are that concerned, all you have to do is to source for your own funds to be a player in the industry. If you read carefully and slowly this time around, you will notice the name of the company mentioned is called RIVERSIDE LNG and not NNPC. That is a private company and not the Nigerian state itself.

COMPREHENDE ?
Don't tell me you are so ignorant as not to know that no private company can do such a business in Nigeria without government backing. As the Federal Government is signing memorandum of understanding to supply gas to Europe, it doesn't mean that government will do it by itself. It will be done through private companies.

It dries the body. The highs are addictive. If you don't have more than average access to food and comfort, it will make you look very untidy and scare away many potential connections that would have helped you. Igbo no good for poor man.

You must have a valid identification, provide your freelancer profile link or LinkedIn and wait for few days for your USD account to be approved. Also, they're strict with the source of money you receive in the account. You shouldn't have any issues if you're just transferring funds from your Payoneer. But if you're giving the USD account to clients directly, be prepared that they will put the money on hold at times to ask the sender to provide proof of the services you provided. This is to limit Yahoo guys from using their platform. Geegpay is also crazy like that. Even Wise too. Your source of funds will determine if you'll be having issues with your account.
Again, I'm grateful to you on behalf of everyone your info would help.

It is a payment platform designed for Nigerians to work for various organizations and individuals abroad and get paid
You can display your products on the platform and get access to clients both locally and in the Diaspora
You sound like you're a part of the ownership of this service. Or, are you just a user?

You don't still get my message, not everyone might earn dollars from Nigeria but everyone might be affected by the government's mismanagement of dollars, your solution without government's effort to help might not work for the general population.

It might only work for only those who earn in dollars and how many are they in Nigeria?
Let's try to focus less on what will NOT work and explore more on the things that can WORK. My focus now is not on those who already earn $$$ but on having more people earn $$$. The less we depend on government, the happier we shall be😎

We shouldn't be waiting for the government that cares so little. For me, it's even irresponsible to do so.

Is it the same Wise thousands of freelancers in Nigeria are using or another one? I don't know what you're talking about, but I use Wise and I have never used a VPN.

@op try Grey, Geegpay. Their verification is strict but they have good exchange rates. I get paid via Wise and send to Grey to exchange to naira. Grey also works with Payoneer, and you can use it directly (Just give the virtual USD account details from Grey to your employer.
Thanks thanks thanks a bunch. Your information makes a lot of sense. For being so magnanimous, may you become even more successful in 2024 and thereafter even as your moniker proclaims.

Please, kindly still share: What are the difficulties with Grey verification that you mentioned?

Used to work before, blocked by CBN now, your solution for FX stability might not still work, it might only help you personally to be financially buoyant but not the economy.

The FX problem is not really in the amount of FX the country is making or the amount goods locally produced or exported....

The government is the major problem....
If we can export more products and services to the world market, we can earn more forex to shore up the local currency. Freelancing and working remotely equals labor export.

Ok. Thanks for sharing. I know about Wise but I am yet to use it. How does it work for Nigerian residents? For instance, does it work seamlessly with Nigerian commercial banks? What are the difficulties? What are you enjoying the most about it? What are its advantages over Payoneer?

And Stripe too. Again, thanks in advance.

Okay from today onwards I will never celebrate Salah with Muslims or wish them happy Salah again.
No please. Don't come down from your level. You shouldn't let what some Muslims do determine what you do. Rather, they should look up to you. The standard set by Our Lord is so high that it would be a shame if we descend to lower levels.

And I said this with due respect to all Muslims especially fair-minded Muslims like Ahmed Musa. There are many great Muslims whom I think may even be more acceptable to Jesus Christ than many 'Christians'. So, if you stop wishing Salah, then, Ahmed Musa would have become more Christian than you.

sad Even though I'm a born again Christian, It is not biblical for we Christians to celebrate the evil tradition called Christmas. Origin of Christmas celebration dates back to the worship of moon God. We Christians are not permitted to celebrate it. I condemn Musa for wishing we Christians a happy Christmas and I hope the Muslim community can forgive him for this terrible gaffe sad
There is 'CHRIST' in CHRISTmas and yet you dare call it "an evil tradition". 2 Corinthians 10:5 says that "We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

Whatever pagan festival that was ever held on 25th December has been supplanted. So we have removed what the Kings instituted and replaced it with what God instituted. Because as Revelation 11:15 also said,"the Kingdoms of this world are become the Kingdoms of our Lord and of his Christ".

So, please, stop fixating on what the ancient kingdoms did because the King of kings has come to take over the dates instituted by those ancient Kings. Grab a holy kiss💜💙💖
