Even though I'm a born again Christian, I pray Peter Obi never becomes president. The reasons why igbos are promoting Obi presidency is for him to win and release Nnamdi Kanu. It will never happen in Jesus name. Instead of releasing that monster trying to divide our United Nigeria, it's better we choose between PDP or APC.

There are many reasons why. Topmost is the fact that he contested to be a president. This currency swap is directly under his department and he has a responsibility to make it work.

Emefiele Met Dollar at 165 when he was appointed on the 14th of June 2014, by the same date in 2015, the rate had gone up to 199 naira, after having touched 202 naira within the year.

All these happened under GEJ, which goes to show that Emefiele's incompentence did not start today, he just was able to do it under the radal and had low crude rate as an excuse for his failure all these while.

Compare that to Sanusi, who met dollar at 148 and only 3 naira was added after 12 months.

Graph 1 is Emefiele's exchange rate in under one year even when PDP was still in power, graph 2 is Sanusi's own 12 months period.

Within 3 months of Emefiele assuming office, dollars started to rise and has not stopped ever since then.

Sanusi met it at 148 naira, by the time he was booted out, USD was at 162, that was an increment of just 14 naira in give years, under Emefiele that value was surpassed in less than one year. From 162 to 200, that was 38 naira increase in just one year of taking up the job as CBN governor.

Only jail is befitting for this man.

The truth is that Rivers State have never been in the same page with the Igbos starting from the era of old eastern region. The Support Igbos gave to Jonathan is because they don’t have any option as they have made enemies with the North and Yoruba simple.

Back then Rivers people where agitating for the creation of Rivers State but the Eastern Region Govt under the control of the Igbo rejected the plea until General Gowon made it possible and created Rivers State. This is why Wike renamed Elekahia stadium to Yakubu Gowon Stadium.

Shortly after the creation of old Rivers State which included Bayela, Akwa IBom and Cross Rivers, Ojukwu former Governor of Eastern Region declared Biafra and again included Old Rivers State back to the Eastern Region which he called Biafra. It was a big shock to Rivers People

. A lot of our people were killed by Biafra Soldiers, that is why up till date, the Ijaw people of Rivers State have annual celebrations of their liberation from Biafran Soldiers. But how did it end? Igbos properties where declared abandoned in Port Harcourt. And you think we will support Igbo man to be President? The Igbos should be asking for forgiveness and not votes.

There is no top politician supporting Peter Obi. In Rivers State. I challenge you to name just one? Only online noise makers from Igbo states, disturbing the social media.

Election is few weeks to come, we will all be here and see the result of Rivers State. Quote me after election

President Muhammadu Buhari calls Bola Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC), the next president of Nigeria.

Speaking at the party’s campaign in Nasarawa on Saturday, Buhari described the former governor of Lagos as a “competent Nigerian”, who will give all he has for the country.
“I’m very pleased today to be part of this campaign for Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the next president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,” he said.

“I have known him for more than twenty-six years ago. I will continue to campaign for Bola Tinubu. He is a committed Nigerian and I believe he will give all he has to this country and to you Nigerians.”
Buhari’s statement comes amid reports of rancour in the APC, after Tinubu’s outburst during the party’s presidential rally in Ogun, where he expressed dissatisfaction over the fuel and currency scarcity in the country.

“Even if you change the ink on naira notes, what you want will not happen. We will win. That umbrella party will lose. We will take this government from them — saboteurs that are dragging power with us,” said Tinubu in Abeokuta, the capital of Ogun.

Meanwhile, the president had declared his support for the naira redesign policy, stating that it would deter politicians from “mobilising resources to intimidate voters in the 2023 general election”.
