Mujtahida:The same Ferguson that Pep turned to Shaky Shaky daddy and outclassed him in two Champions League finals. |
TheSuperNerd:Definitely an interesting talent and Real Madrid has a fantastic project at hand now. We will see how Xabi Alonso blends them. Mastantuono is definitely one to watch. I actually sent his clips few days ago to my elder brother. Bright one to give Lamal a run for his money. Good answer by Real Madrid. |
Mujtahida:How did it kill football? I have showed the flair is still there. Players are faster because of it. Players are more intelligent because of it. What actually killed football was the Mourinho parked bus. Which has led to all teams now playing with low block and made it more difficult for players to be offensive. Not Guardiola. You guys are getting all wrong. I have busted your claims of lack of creativity. So how did the system kill football. |
Truidstarr:Watch Bernardo Silva in this clip and watch the games for Manchester City, you will clearly see individual brilliance and that is under Pep. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwLPgXkWSkM |
Truidstarr:The way you wrote this, it will seem as if it is not a system that one the Premier League six times in 8 years. If the system doesn't encourage individual brilliance, how come we have skillful players that pull out individually brilliant skills like Foden, Mahrez, Doku, Savinho etc. The truth is that, most of you that say these things hardly ever watch a Pep Guardiola side. I just posted clips of individual brilliance of players playing under Guardiola. Then you say the system doesn't encourage individual brilliance. Let me enlighten you a bit. Guardiola's system respects a theory of the pitch divided by imaginary lines into three. In the offensive third, players have license to be individually brilliant. That is the philosophy. Guardiola says his job is to get players to the final third. Their job is to deliver their individually. Finito. |
Napoleon55:Let me repeat myself. I said we don't get to see flair and skills like we used to see in the past because tactical defending has advanced and defenders are now better than those in the past. What I am pointing out is how ridiculous Evra sounds saying there is no creativity in today's game, especially players playing under Guardiola. It is not true and I have shown with clips that his statement is false. I did not say you will see skills that you have not seen before. I said there is still mad creativity. Finito. |
Mujtahida:Welcome to the Foden Show. When people say football is robotic and lack creativity, I just know they are poor watchers of football. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ow1CwivnSI |
Mujtahida:Watch this clip of Musiala and tell me if there is any atom of truth wlin the statement no creativity. People should keep their bias aside and start watching football because wonderful things are happening. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cE_QpBQ50gI |
Mujtahida:No disrespect to Evra but he is talking off tangent. I think he drank before that speech. Starting off: Evra said no creativity. That is totally not true We have super creative players today. Has Evra watched Pedri play ball? Has watched Lamal skip past players. What of Desire Doue or Barcola. He is talking off point. Today, Ederson is more skillful than any defender or defensive midfielder that kept under Alex Ferguson. So who are the robots. He is talking playing direct football. It could work in the past, not today with how compact people defend. Today, defensive midfielders are as skillful as 10s. Watch Nico Gonzalez on the ball. Today, right backs can play in midfield during games. Is that robotic? The talk is just a rant that makes no point. Look at this Doku clip and tell me it is robotic. Also look at the defences he is playing against. See how tight it is. Is that what direct long ball football will work? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hPIpAbcfexA Today football is far better and even more skillful. It is just that defences are now tighter and it looks like the players are not skillful. Defenders today are also faster. |
Odunayaw:More like Peplle Team. 😀 |
Manchester City is building the most bloody attack since Rijkaard's Barcelona. Haaland Marmoush Cherki Savinho Doku Foden Bobb Reijnders Gonzalez Rodri Kovacic All these have goals in their locker. Welcome to the FESTIVAL OF GOALS. Not adding Bernardo Silva Gundogan who are likely to play their last season with us in 25-26. Brutal.

Mujtahida:When people make statements like this, it actually shows that they do not really watch football. No disrespect meant. Under Pep Guardiola, we have really seen brilliant players express themselves, especially at Manchester City. You just need watch Bernardo Silva dazzle under Guardiola. Watch this short clip. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajQv9xqzNm0 We have seen magic from Sane, Foden, David Silva, Bernardo Silva. Watch Doku and Savinho. Watch Oscar Bobb Watch these guys play under Pep Guardiola. We are seeing players moving faster in tighter defences. Pep Guardiola has actually improved football. |
TheSuperNerd:Yeah. I think we (Man City) really missed not signing him then. Mendes is purely an asset. |
Snippets Dr Dakuku’s Radio Interview On Love 97.7FM Port Harcourt ( Senator’s Assembly) -“In the 6 years that Nyesom Wike has been in charge as governor of Rivers State, he has not taken any deliberate steps to create the environment to generate employment for the youths of Rivers State.” -“Dele Momodu was hoodwinked into believing that the government here cares about people” -Gov. Wike deliberately embarked on propaganda to deceive Rivers people and Nigerians. -The Government must create enabling environment for people to invest in the state. This is absent today . -Under Gov. Wike Projects aren’t advertise for bidding , nor do they pass through due process according to the public procurement act and this is open day robbery “ -Under my watch as DG NIMASA we trained good number of Nigerians and Rivers people as Seafarers” CHARKINS Maritime Academy was accredited to provide middle level training for nautical scientist and naval architects “ – Gov. Wike has to explain to Rivers People who is the owns the company Eazy E, ESJ Construction company and particularly Ciscon construction company that owns asphalt plant at Rukpoku . It is an admission of failure” -Before 2015 elections Wike published on Thisday News Paper that I am a cultist, I took the matter to court and Thisday apologized when they found out that its all lies and even published their apology. -I’m not a member Ogboni and I don’t give Ogboni form as criteria to ascertain any Government positions and contracts. – Rivers people should not loose hope Because hope is coming in 2023. Meanwhile no mass testing for the common man. Clap for yourself NCDC. |
ImadeUReadThis, you have done a lovely work producing irrefutable evidence on this. I just hope our government is vigilant to keep us safe from the main aim of those behind this. Our rulers like money too much that they can sell Nigerians for cheap. I am very sceptical with the landing of 35 Americans in the name of NNPC expatriates during this crisis period. |
We need labs and Covid-19 tests going in in the Niger Delta region. Little or not tests going on here to prevent a catastrophe. Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. |
Thank you for your effort minister but the rate you are proposing will not do. We need at least 10,000 tests a day due to the alarming population we have and the way we interact in our society. So please hasten up the process. You people had since December last year to prepare and said we were ready. Even test kits or protective gear for health workers was not purchased. Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. |
Nice to read. Sad the thread on the treatment protocol and regimen did not make front page but it is not too late for our federal Government to act fast and produce the recommended drugs to get readily available at a subsidised price at the pharmacies, health centres and general hospital. We can beat this if we act fast. Disclaimer: Please, this information is for medical professionals. No one should go self medicating. The process is still on trial in a controlled process under careful clinical study. Only Medical professionals should handle prescription of drugs. Open Letter From Dr. Zelenko Who Successfully Treated 350 Covid-19 Patients TO ALL MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS AROUND THE WORLD: Given the urgency of the situation, I developed the following treatment protocol in the pre-hospital setting and have seen only positive results: 1. Any patient with shortness of breath regardless of age is treated. 2. Any patient in the high-risk category even with just mild symptoms is treated. 3. Young, healthy and low risk patients even with symptoms are not treated (unless their circumstances change and they fall into category 1 or 2). My out-patient treatment regimen is as follows: 1. Hydroxychloroquine 200mg twice a day for 5 days 2. Azithromycin 500mg once a day for 5 days 3. Zinc sulfate 220mg once a day for 5 days https://www.nairaland.com/5761296/open-letter-dr-zelenko-successfully |
Godwin1993:Have your State carried out massive testing to know if there are no cases? Without massive testing, it is impossible to know if there are no cases in Delta State please. Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. |
Without Mass Testing, the Coronavirus Pandemic Will Keep Spreading Countries such as South Korea that test thousands of people per day have slowed the outbreak. Other nations must adopt Seoul’s model before it’s too late. The key to South Korea’s success has been speed and an early push toward mass testing, rigorous contact tracing, and mandatory quarantine for anyone near a carrier of the virus. The country, with a population of 51 million, tests more than 20,000 people a day at more than 600 testing sites nationwide, while integrating apps that not only track individuals if they have tested positive, but also warn them if they might have been exposed to a known case. https://foreignpolicy.com/2020/03/23/coronavirus-pandemic-south-korea-italy-mass-testing-covid19-will-keep-spreading/ Lockdown means nothing without testing, isolating and treating infected ones. |
Thank you. It is pathetic the way the handling of this matter is going on in the country. Donating but no application to it. These people should even set up private testing, isolating and treating centres instead of using government. Partner with NGOs and Private sector establishments. Anything government leads to wastage. Despite all the funds released, no massive testing going on to track and Quarantine infected ones. toxicbrain:It is not approved, does not mean it is not a treatment for it. It has worked for almost 800 people. And, it is not about treating symptoms but curing the person of the virus. Even the Nigerian government approved this treatment as a trial process. We need the trail on a larger scale after massive testing. |
glorex:Thank you. It is so logical. As if Lockdown will chase the virus. No provision of safety kits for the masses. No provision of safety gears for health workers. No provision of mass testing centres for identification of cases and treatment to keep removing infected ones to reduce spread. Just Lockdown. That is the new one politicians have learnt. Wike should release figures let us see. How many people has the State tested. How much has been released to tackle this virus. If it is to open mouth and abuse Amaechi, his mouth will get sharp. Excerpt from an article: Even before the Ebola outbreak in Rivers State, the Amaechi administration had released the sum of N300 million to the State Ministry of Health to use in tackling the virus in case it eventually arrived the State. Apart from this, the Rivers State Government through the Ministry of Health planned ahead by approving a temporary quarantine site in Oduoha, Emohua Local Government Area of the State |
