This is where indigenous test kits would have been more feasible

We have over 15 billion dollars available. There is no way the Federal Government of Nigeria can not secure test kits from countries like South Korea, Japan etc. If they want to, they would have gotten.

If mass testing is carried out, we will know the true situation of things. There is a reason why they are preaching a failed system called Lockdown instead of carrying out mass testing.

But the total testing kit we have in Nigeria cannot cover a local government's population.

We lost our advantage when we freely allowed potential carriers to go home.

Right now, we will need hundreds of thousands of testing kits to cover majority of the exposed people.

4,370 first contacts are said to be missing. Who knows the number of people they may have infected?

We can't sustain lockdown for long but neither are we massively importing test kits.

With billions donated. There is no way we can not broker deals with countries to import quality kits in mass and start testing, isolating and treating infected ones.

See how much billions donated and all they can say is stay at home.

SharpJoe, all you need to do is take all preventive measures to avoid getting infected.

If you do (God forbid) insist on being treated with Chloroquine.

Do not trust the govt doctors. They may even be giving patients placebos and treating others with experimental drugs.

The Pfizer scandal of testing Meningitis drugs on Children in Kano only happened because Nigerian govt officials were part of the testing and cover up.

Another helpful tip, to avoiding the virus spreading to from your mouth to your lower respiratory region (Lungs) where it does more damage, is to simply take as much alkaline fruits like Lemon.

No virus can survive in an alkaline state.

You can gaggle every morning and night with Baking Soda.

When we criticized the use of hand held infra-red thermometers in place of actual testing by NCDC at the airports as useless they called us names.

If they couldn't carry out tests, they should have insisted on test results for all intending passengers that was less than 24hrs prior to arriving Nigeria. But they did nothing.

By next 2-3 weeks there will be an exponential explosion in number of cases in Nigeria.

It is that time that they will say ONLY mass vaccination can save us.

You will then have to comply with the Govt's mass vaccination plan which Bill Gates' is waiting to fully fund.

Africa is the world's guinea pig..

There might be a conspiracy going on in Nigeria because the foolish actions are just too much to go as mistakes.

From refusal to stop incoming flights, to refusals to Quarantine returnees for 24-21 days and regularly test them, to refusals to test returnees and now refusals for mass testing, preaching lockdown and stay at home.

Worst part is that all the so called critics have lost their voices. From Moghalu, Durotoye, Ezekwesili, Fani Kayode, Falana and all the hosts of Men of God.

Mass testing the best weapon against Covid-19

Mass testing allows for early detection of infection in individuals so that these individuals can be isolated before they spread the infection to others. With Covid-19, South Korea again employed aggressive mass testing efforts followed with contact tracing and isolation, and so far has been one of a handful of countries to see a decline in the number of new infections.

I used to suspect Bill Gates but my position has changed when he explained he spent Billions of dollars on Polio Vaccine to prevent and epidemic breakout, then I knew he might not be the bad guy we think.

Bill Gates warned against the Pandemic we are experiencing now. He said Ebola was the sign. He has loads of researchers working on models of breakout and called for the World to take action to stop it.

If the World had listened to Bill Gates, followed the protocol he laid out, we would have saved thousands of lives. Maybe we are blessed to have him but our distrust is making us not value him. He knew coronavirus Covid-19 was a monster. His friends new. That was why they ran to their islands for shelter.

The truth is our big men and government do not value lives. So people like Gates know this. His fingerprints are all over because he is fighting to save lives. Will mistakes happen? Yes. But, we can not leave him to keep fighting alone.

The Macron government refuses to apply mass testing, as practiced with success in South Korea and Germany.

If you follow the article, you will see the same thing happening in Nigeria.

All governments are pushing for lockdown in Nigeria instead of mass testing and treating with chloroquine, Azithromycin and zinc sulphate.

It is a mystery even after the Lagos government got 10 billion naira, they are yet to start mass testing.

Not true again. Without Trump, Dr. Raoult would have still come to light. He walked out of the French Presidential advisory Committee on Covid-19. There was a mass influx of Covid-19 infected people to his hospital in Marseille. That was how his number of patients grew to 80 recovered and Raoult made the report public.

I praise Trump for his battle and stance. He is also a hero in this but his negligence like dismantling the Pandemic Response Team and negligence to the threat of Covid-19 will count against him. Trump's negligence led to the death of hundreds of Americans.

He can not change that but we should feel grateful for his strength to fight for the cure.

Not true. Dr. Didier Raoult said his treatment and study started from studying Chinese reports. Not the other way around. The Chinese touted and researched the chloroquine treatment long before Raoult.

Raoult studied it and added the Azithromycin to the treatment after noticing the gaps in the chloroquine treatment that made it look like it was not solid.

After adding Azithromycin, Dr. Didier Raoult saw vast improvement and made his report public which Trump jumped on.

However, there were still short comings like number of patients on ventilators and ituberated.

Dr. Vladimir Zelenko studied Raoult's report and another from South Korea and came up with his addition of zinc Sulphate.

Ran hundreds of tests, had 0 ituberations and 0 deaths. Made it public with the treatment protocol and regimen.

All heroes.
