Nigeria is 51 years ahead of Biafra militarily speaking and any reasonable person should put these into consideration before mouthing off that ‘this is not 1967’. And yes indeed this in not 1967 because the Nigerian army of 1967 has also been modernized from then. We as Ndigbo should not allow ourselves to be rail-roaded into an unprepared war by a tactless Ipob and a runaway coward nnamdi cownu. A reasonable person will never go to war when he’s weak and lack the means to fight in his enemy’s territory. A sensible person should understand his enemies, especially the types you have in Nigeria and put into consideration the would be plight of his women, children, disabled and elderly into consideration before attracting the military to his domain.
I ask a simple question to any reasonable Igbo out there: before the formation of a non-state security outfit like ESN by a deranged radio ranter called nnamdi cownu, were there this level of carnage in Igboland? The answer is no. Today we’re back to pre-1967, where a tactless individual has interfered with nature, that nature in this case is Fulani herdsmen.
