When the officials involved begin to do their checkmate on our files, and they notice I've been collecting my clearance form from another school that was not assigned to me, is it going to cause any problems for me or make them not to issue me my certificate? Or they'll just wave it?

checkmate my ass. Once they call your name you collect your cert and drop your ID card you can get lost for all they care

There won't be an issue for you as far as your l.g.i is not aware.. Afterall some people didn't go to their ppa at all and they still got their certificates

Yes, I've considered this.
My dad even suggested it.

But you know it's Lagos State, they're extra or something, I don't know.
Besides I have my Certificate of Origin from Ondo State already.
It just feels very risky.

And I read on Lasu's websites that indigenes of Lagos State have to provide their IIVC number.
That's another thing I'll have to do after that.

I think my birth certificate says something else.

It's just too much for too little.

What is life without a little risk .. But I've seen things from your point of view and I think things might get complicated later considering the iivc and birth certificate issue. But not to worry.. I'll check for a nice school within your catchment area and give u feedback soon

I don't think you should work yourself up about this issue(my opinion tho) because it won't in anyway affect you during or after your course of studying in the university.
Infact some people deliberately change their state to ELDS when seeking for admission in order to boost their chances of being admitted and it works most of the time.
I personally know like two guys in my department back then in school they were from south-east but they changed their state to one state in south-south due to their low aggregate scores and like magic they were given admission

I've tried federal universities twice, Unilag and Uniben with nearly the same jamb scores but I'm always a few points short of the aggregate due to post utme.

That's why I decided to pick Lasu

well I won't concur with this your last paragraph because I personally graduated from a federal university. Unizik to be precise and I had no connection whatsoever. All I had to do was pass my jamb and post Utme and the cut-off.

My advice for you is to apply for a federal Uni that falls within your geo-political zone that way you will have more chances(if that's even necessary).

Otherwise I see no reason why you won't be accepted to any university in Nigeria this year considering your jamb score in correlation with the general low scores this year.

Btw what state are you from

Are you sure you wrote your jamb in Nigeria. Because all I've been seeing on nairaland is jambites complaining and wailing of how jamb jammed them. Well your chances of medicine are over good with your score and o level combination but I honestly think you should change to a federal university. Their admission process is more transparent than that of state owned universities

Sunday igboho is not our problem.. The Nigerian government should put this same effort used in arresting igboho and Nnamdi kanu in apprehending the killer herdsmen who have made Nigeria uninhabitable for its citizens. Prices of goods in the market have skyrocketed all because the killer herdsmen have chased the farmers from their farmlands
