rapjunkie:

@ shaz

I understand where u are coming from BUT why would 10 year olds be listening to it anyway?

There are worse songs than this . . ,  surely?

Also, the easy availability of explicit porn on the internet has done more damage than this song can or ever will do

Cuz it's on the music television stations in the day time when children are watching it.

As a matter of factly, it was on air just a few minutes ago on FLAVA TV alongside songs from Miley Cyrus, Shontelle and the rest of em. .

Thats how u'll see children asking their parents for 'the birthday present' . . lol. Jokes aside though, there are songs worse than this. . True. But why should there be explicit songs in the first place?

And to your other point about porn on the internet, parents put controls on the pc as to which sites can be viewed. With TV, you can't ban the songs from ur screen. . d'u see?

Music/Radio / Re: Kennis Music-is This The End? by Shaz(f): 3:09pm On Jul 16, 2009
eldee:

Wanna know their first major flaw?? Not signing Ruggedman.

Yeah, they lost out on Ruggedman, doesn't look like a big deal . . .
It was, why?? They failed to cash in on the transition of the Nigerian music industry towards Hiphop
Ruggedman was the first major hiphop act in Nigeria, losing out on him meant losing their monopoly.

Back then there was this accepted consensus that you had to be with Kennis to be big
When Ruggedman and other hiphop acts like Trybesmen made it, their monopoly was called into question.
They became just another record label . . . people began to appreciate hiphop more and more and other errors kept dropping.

When Kennis was asked why he didn't sign Ruggedman he said 'You shouldn't throw stones at a fruitless tree'
They thought hiphop was a fruitless tree . . . that sounds so stupid right now grin grin grin

Lol. .true that.
