sinizia:When Jonathan deployed soldiers to lay siege on Tinubu's bourdillon's residence prior to the election and used the police to prevent elected house of reps members including the speaker Tambuwal from entering the National Assembly complex to the extent of tear-gassing them, you fools were cheering him on, on this forum. Now let PDP receive a dose of their own medicine. Why wasn't this rubbish Radio Biafra vocal during Jonathan's time. You people just realized suddenly that you need to leave Nigeria? Una never see anything.. una go wail tired. |
gassdon:What is the reason for such a question? We Yorubas are not tribal bigots as we have a handful of Igbos and other tribes making their living in the state civil service and state universities all over SW. How much so a private university for that matter. |
Daliano:When your people stop belonging to Nigerian political parties, contesting, winning and accepting electoral and appointive positions in the zoo; you can call us to take you people seriously. Even one of your own did every manipulation possible to retain a deputy Senate president position in the same zoo you want to break out from; and some of your likes are promising to make all hell let loose if he's forced to quit the position in the zoo. Imagine speaking from both sides of the mouth. You people truly need the zoo more than the zoo needs you. How many westerners, middle-belters and northerners are making a living out of your region unlike the large percentage of your people in those regions? Think and learn from history. The wise ones among you are enjoying Nigeria to d fullest, doing their businesses and making a fine living for themselves while a few retards are screaming Biafra. |
Lexxy84:It's a different ball game man. Fayose stepped on big toes then especially OBJ who was President then and federal might was used in influencing the lawmakers then to impeach him, unlike Aregbe who has no issue with the top echelon of APC. Have u heard any of them like Tinubu, Akande, Amaechi and Buhari come out to condemn him about his inability to pay workers' salaries. It'll will just be another kangaroo, merry-go-round probe which translates to an exercise in futility. |
literatichick:We all know the natural chestbeating and ultimatum issuing tribe in Nigeria. |
kaycid77:F00l, have u finished solving the problems of your brothers cooling off in Indonesian and Malaysian prisons, and are to be executed anytime soon? |
fr3do:But is he not a non-indigenous politician for crying out loud? Does Lagos being a commercial city now mean that it won't have natives/indigenes again? He's representing a Lagos federal constituency but that doesn't erase the fact that he's not indigenous to Lagos. Of all the things written there,it's the part that has to do with being an indigene or not that gives u nightmares. Good deed Mr.Nwulu. |
Neduzze5:Lol, go and wake him up from the grave and give him a Nobel Laureate and we can start talking. |
CFCfan:Thank God you said "the Senate" and not just a private session with the Senate President or the SP and his gangs. The invitation has to be for the PS to appear on the floor of the Senate or before a Senate standing committee on finance or economy or whatever, and such is yet to be constituted by the SP for whatever reasons. We know also that the house didn't plan to reconvene on the said date of invitation. You think the PS doesn't know what's up? Saraki should do things the proper way if he doesn't want his moves to be interpreted wrongly. There's so much distrust already between the executive and the Senate headed by Saraki. |
Emekamex:A man left public office since 2007(which was 8 years ago), where for some years OBJ denied him allocation from d federal purse and he was able to pursue a laudable economic programme to generate and properly utilize the state IGR and was able to successfully ensure that an achiever in the mould of Fashola who became a point of reference for effective governance succeed him. That is the man you want PMB to go after and leave thieves who just left office barely few days ago. I fail to see any sense in that. |
DOKUBOHARAM:Someone who tried to divide a country is now termed a hero of that country in your small mind. Check your dictionary for the meaning of hero oga. |
Hitter:You're sad cos he's an Igbo man. If he was Yoruba, I know you and your likes would have feasted on him calling Yorubas all sort of unprintable names and adjectives. That's why tribal bigotry shouldn't be encouraged as has sadly become the norm here on Nairaland. So u see there are the good, bad and ugly in every tribe. None of us asked to be born into any tribe. Providence brought us here. Shalom. |
4Horsewomen:If you're so pained at the existence of people from SW, why don't you travel down to the SW region and eliminate everyone there so you can find peace and Nigeria would suddenly become Paradise cos I don't know SW now equates Boko haram in your dictionary. Some of you are just too pathetic. |
chukwudi44:Tinubu's contributions to Buhari being president goes beyond just votes to Buhari but the demonization of GEJ through well oiled media propaganda. That alone made GEJ became a devil when compared with corrupt people like IBB, Danjuma and OBJ. Many neutrals that would have voted GEJ became swayed with such media campaigns. You know it but will always live in self-denials. The northerners themselves that gave PMB the bulk of the votes knew the impact of Tinubu on PMB's emergence as President; though I agree his overbearing attitude is getting the better of him. |
pazienza:You people are just pathetic. White people in Oxford University will cook up figures to support Osun ahead of SE states. What's the rationale behind such lame line of reasoning by you? Cos Aregbesola promised to bribe them for that or what. I know if they had put the whole 5 SE states as numbers 1 to 5, you'd have been praising them saying they're correct even though u know a state like Ebonyi can never have a better poverty index over places like Ondo and Ogun. |
Atlantian:You can shout all you like about APC but try to at least respect a region of millions of people. Imagine South West becoming South West. That's just plain silly. |
lawanson44:Fool..ethnic bigot..receive sense in Jesus name! |
anonimi:You ought to hide your head in shame on a thread like this; but u Tanoids are shameless anyway, so I'm not the least surprised. I thought ur scam master GEJ transformed the rail sector lol. Somebody's four fingers have paid for the celebrated scam. |
lukecent:In that case it just becomes a title.. I can start calling myself former governor even though I've not smelt the office before, but Wike is going too far by putting his portrait amongst those of legitimate former governors and now wanting to give him all past, present and future financial benefits and entitlements of a former governor, thereby spending the resources of the state illegally. Here is a man that the Supreme Court of the land nullified his rule. It's quite pathetic to have so much open impunity and disregard for the law and supposedly "educated" people coming on here to cheer him on. |
nationwide1:Even though I supported the emergence of Buhari, I cannot attribute this economic growth ish to Buhari, but largely to GEJ. We had the highest oil revenue imaginable under this man, with oil selling over $100 per barrel at a time. The question we should now ask is if we could record such unprecedented economic growth under GEJ, why didn't that translate to a higher standard of living in the life of an average Nigerian . There you have the answer: wanton embezzlement, impunity and corruption like never before. Which is why GEJ still has lots of questions to answer. |
carzola:Wike is already probing Amaechi cos Amaechi was his immediate predecessor and PMB isn't interfering with that cos he is all for fighting corruption no matter the persons involved, hence his famous statement: "I belong to everybody and to nobody". As for Tinubu, here is a man that left public office close to a decade ago and you want PMB to leave his immediate predecessor GEJ who virtually bankrupted the nation and kept us in an unprecedented colossal deficit of N7trn and start chasing Tinubu about. I guess perhaps about a trillion of that sum was given to u. Otherwise I don't see how you can be this foolish in defending someone who together with his cronies stole from our common wealth like never before and left the country in total economic ruin. |
oismail:Don't know why these people are trying so hard to drag Tinubu's reputation on the mud in front of PMB. I see the hands of Atiku, Tambuwal, Saraki and their PDP coconspirators in all this. |
UnknownT:Even if he Buhari had gotten 50 million votes from the north and couldn't get the required 25% across the six SW states,he wouldn't have been President today. PMB knew this hence the romance with the SW this time around as against 2011 when he couldn't care less. Don't try to downplay the importance of the SW votes in ensuring Buhari emerged as President. |
Samchelsea:Don't mind d fool..he should come out boldly and beat his chest that he too hasn't received a dime in the last seven months. Only then can we take him seriously.. Aregbesola has really done a lot of damage to the already dwindling fortunes of the APC. |
Ezenwammadu:Seriously Aregbesola and other such governors should not go scot free with impoverishing people like this. They should be punished somehow. The CBN governor has exposed their lies that it's only from April this year that their allocations have reduced to as large as 30%, when heartless buffoons like Aregbesola and co have been lying on the FG since last year. |
99100:I thought it was the Yorubas that hate the Igbos most. Now it's Hausa/Fulani. Tell me something. It seems all other tribes and even Indonesians and Chinese hate Igbos most cos they are the most blessed people on earth. |
BackDatAssUp:It's all over the web that Aisha was born in 1971 and got married to Buhari in 1989, meaning she was 18 then and she's 44 now..why do you have to tell an obvious lie just to make a point? How can someone who married at the age of 12 in 1989 be 40 years old in 2015. FYI, Buhari divorced his first wife in 1988 and married Aisha a year after. |
wealth123:Me think President Buhari goofed with his ill-timed meeting. The world knows today has been slated for NASS elections and he himself affirmed that by sending a letter to the clerk to commence inauguration by 10am. They had all the time in the world to meet as a party and not telling the house to wait for your party to finish with their meeting before the Senate can seat. Quite unfortunate they played perfectly into the hands of PDP. |
I just can't seem to imagine what would have become of this thread if that girl's name had been Funmi or Bola. Tribal bashings and insults would have made it spill to like 20 pages now lol. |
aguiyi:You just feel like showing yourself off when you find it hard to properly comprehend an article of less than 15 paragraphs. I don't need to remind you that the words in inverted commas were the actual words of Garba Shehu. The "took" you were making reference to was used by the PM news reporter. You GEJ apologists are in for a very long four or possibly eight years. I really don't envy you at all, carry such huge magnitude of bitterness for such lengthy period of time. |
dearpreye:Of course you shouldn't condemn a brilliant idea from him. U know we need total restructuring which GEJ was never willing to do, but u are amongst those campaigning for him to return. Well I understand where you're coming from since he's your kinsman but we should look beyond that for the overall interest of the nation. |
dearpreye:So u guys know we need restructuring and are vehemently campaigning for someone who has refused to restructure the country after 5 years to continue for 4 more woeful years. It's a pity. |
