I have a e machines laptop with windows vista home basic and I forgot my password but I bought a windows 10 installation disc to format but it's not formatting or bringing any program.

it is the hard disk that contains the windows vista that is passworded, not the bios, take it to the pc technician for installation of a new windows Os. that will clear any password
