Firstly, Investing in housing is never a waste, housing is one of the few commodity that appreciates with time ,you'll get your investment from it,reap the steady and constant interest, your children and grandchildren will do same. Secondly, I'll advice you to build a building for renting purposes rather than for your residential purpose. One bedroom flats and self contained houses are most rented out apartments anywhere in Nigeria,be it in a poor or rich environment, there are classes of people that fit these apartments. In five years time you'll be smiling to the bank when your alert keep dropping. By the way,if you're convinced that staying in a rich environment will boost your social life, you can rent an apartment there and build your rental apartments where your cost will reach . It's killing two birds with one stone. |
Op,don't build a residential house for, just you,you can build a two or one bedroom flat for yourself, with self contains and probably a flat in the same compound for renting purposes. Even if you travel out tomorrow, you'll still be receiving dividend from your apartments. Housing is one of the best investment ever. |
IMASTEX:I swear, when our leaders are the forefathers of corrupt, what do they expect the followers to do? |

I have this pressing desire to invest in a gym in my school environment, with a barbing saloon, but how profitable the enterprise would be is my major concern. Note: the gym is going to be a standard gym with ac,sound systems, TV,and a punching bag. Please professionals in the house over to you. |
Contrary to what Op said,I live in Akwa ibom, school in Akwa ibom and am an. indigene. The price he listed above are prices of self contained rooms with probably no water,or no light or no security. If you plan on getting a good self contained room, carry like 150k,for flat carry like 200k,2 bedroom 250-300.Good places to stay if you plan on relocating- Eket, uyo, ikot ekpene, abak. Eket and ibeno and Esit-eket are under ibibio but the speak different languages each.Good jobss opportunities dey Eket, uyo, ikot abasi, onna, ibeno. Life is Sweet in uyo,u get good road network, transportation is faster because of bolt and opay, also cheap.there's uber. Good public transport, almost steady light if you're staying at four lane, ewet housing, shelter afrik, oron road, all in uyo...Eket is fun too, enough flexing place but bad roads. |
Op people advising you here to dump her obviously are not putting into consideration the fact that you still have feelings for her and she same. A woman's mind is always at a steady doubt when it come to love matters, all she needs is steady reassurance that she's loved, which I guess you've not been doing. She's still loves you,if she didn't, she would have asked for a total breakup and not a two weeks break. She obviously fancies the other guy, hence the two weeks break she's asking for. But Op you fail to realise that you're the one present now not the other guy,you have the key to change her mind and mentality in your hands. Not all girls are worth letting go,from you write up you guys have a lot of history together. I'll advise you to have a face to face talk with her,try and remind her of the good times you guys had,try to talk about you hurts n grievances and let her talk bout her. After the talk,if she still insist on the 2 weeks break, tell her you want a total breakup. Don't rush into making a decision bro, feelings are involved so you don't regret it later.....Av been in ur shoes b4 so am speaking out of experience. |

Technology has had a great run over the past few year with the design, implementation and upgrade of electronic appliances ranging from home appliances, mobile devices etc. Below are some electronic devices that were available in the early 2000 and owning/having these appliances spelt affluence for the owners. 1. Handheld cassette winder I can still remember the stress that was involved in using this device, from the to and fro winding to the inserting and playing of the cassette to see if you have reached where you were, this device was stressful but fun to use back then. 2. Cassette player If you don't know this device, then i suggest you and play because you must definite be from the indomie generation. This play was used to play cassette tapes back in thee days. 3. Megaphone I don't think any major church back in the days lacked this. Placed at a high height, this megaphone produced amplified sound to the environment. 4. Black and white television The kind of joy this TV gave back in the days was immense. Before the introduction of coloured TV this was what was available with two long antennas for trapping signal. 5. Antenna and signal booster Anytime i come across this,i get reminded of NTA and the stress that was associated with the device from the turning of the antenna stand to get a clear signal, it was not a one person's job because you needed someone to checkout the TV for a clear signal. source: https://zeespan..com/2019/08/memory-joggle-do-you-still-remember.html?m=1

From research,it has been proven that mobile phones emit radio frequency radiation (radio waves) which is not harmful to the body initially. It has also been proven that the body absorbs radio waves from mobile phones in form of heat which is not able to raise the body temperature but definitely increases the percentage of heat in the human body. Scientist have therefore warned against the constant exposure to mobile devices because the effect of long term exposure to mobile devices is yet to be proven. So as the saying goes, "prevention is better than cure" ,it is advisable to adhere to these steps below to eliminate chances of being at risk. 1. Do not sleep with your phone near you 2. Keep phone away from your head and body when not in use 3. Avoid using phone when mobile signal is low 4. Steer clear of apps that claim to block radioactive waves 5. Remove headset when not on call or listening to music 6. Avoid putting your phone in the breast pocket of your top So there it is, does mobile phone cause cancer? it is yet to be proven. should you be cautious with your exposure to mobile devices? yes, until proven that mobile devices is harmless. Things you didn't know that drains your phone battery. 1. WiFi Browsing through WiFi can can give you peace of mind and save you phone battery, true. But you didn't know that your phone constantly searching for WiFi signals puts a strain on battery life. So it is advisable to put on your WiFi only when you have a signal or hotspot to connect to. 2. Running multiple apps at one The more apps you keep running on your phone, the more it drains battery life. Even in sleep mode, apps that are left open in the background still commandeer a percentage of battery life. Keep only the apps you're using at moment open in your tab. 3.Screen brightness Setting your phones screen to a high resolution have immense effect on your battery life. So keeping your phone at a low resolution helps in improving battery life. 4. Facebook App Surprising right? When it comes to killing boredom,Facebook can be of great help. But as its killing boredom, its also killing your battery. Its advisable to use the web version of Facebook rather than the app. 5. Close applications the proper way. Force stopping applications is the proper way of killing and application because some application still run in the background even though its be terminated from the tab.
