I’ll put the Arab Spring as number 1. It had lots of influence till this day. |
yinchar:You think our lawmakers will make such law? Dey play. That law cannot work in Nigeria. At least for now. |
![]() Una Dey hear so? You must prove that you contributed substantially. Prayers and motivations no be proof for court o. |
Sometimes I don’t blame those that choose to use their money to buy property overseas. It’s safer to invest in Rwanda as a Nigerian than invest in Nigeria as a Nigerian. |
If DSS NSA and co have such tracking technology, why is it so difficult to get these bandits using TikTok with their faces on it. The video of the slain Emir looked like something shot and uploaded on TikTok. |
If they had bought a brand new plane for $250M, it would have been a better bargain. Buying a 15 year old plane for $100M is sheer lies. If anyone doubts it, search for the JetBusiness and confirm from the CEO Steve Varsano and ask if it is possible. Bola Tinubu and APC have over inflated the cost of that plane. It shouldn't cost more than $42M dollars plus customizations. |
Those of you attacking Atiku, continue. |
With agberos and NURTW louts on Lagos roads and parks? |
From the North to the East, West and South, all black African leaders are no different. Instead of them to take time to read what’s in an agreement they are about to sign, they rush to sign them and snap pictures to show they’re working. |
Japa was never conceived to solve Nigeria’s problems but to better the lives of Nigerians that can afford to migrate from the country. |
viqSmallz:Oga you’re only blowing grammar that we all know. Duties are charged by certain % of the value of goods declared by the importer. The op clearly showed the cost of those items in the screenshot. They were bought online. The seller or the store would provide proof of purchase for those items and that’s what is supposed to be used to calculate the duty fees. 1.2M naira divided by current rate of 1600 is $750. The item costs from the screenshots attached is $1433.66 when converted to USD. Why would the customs charge you $750 for items worth $1433.66? They claimed they used the value of the items now. Those two phones are old phones and not brand new. Check on Apple website and see if you’ll find that particular iPhone 12 still selling there. The second phone is S23FE it is clearly written in the description as “mint” that means it’s not a new phone. How did DHL and customs come about the valuation they gave both phones to warrant a duty fee of $750? Explain the intricacies that warrant the duty cost $750 based on the value they were purchased for and not some made up value by the DHL and customs as they claim. |

viqSmallz:Do you work or have you worked with customs or DHL? If not don’t tell me what I know very much about. They manufactured that customs duty right their in their NACHO office. Check customs website and see what they charge for items. What % is charged on phones and come back to see that what DHL presented that guy is not from customs. How come cargo shippers don’t pay ridiculous amount of duties on phones and other gadgets? We have many shippers from USA, UK to Nigeria that ship phones and resell them here. The question is if this is how customs truly charge, would those people still be doing business after paying so much for just a few phones? |
Jefferyzz:The item is in DHL custody and not with customs. Customs do not individually charge fees on items coming into the country. Tell the sender to go back to their office in UK and report the agent threatening. Do not bulge. Stand your ground. It’s either they return it or they replace the items if it gets missing. |
Tell them to return it. If they refuse, the sender has a right to file a claim over there in the DHL UK office and they’ll pay her. Don’t mind that uncouth Nigerian DHL staff threatening her. The item is in DHL facility and not with customs. Don’t bend to their wills. They do the valuation and customs fees right in their office. Customs do not charge them per item but as bulk for duties. |

Thekillingjoke:It’s possible to get 3% on 10M monthly. It’s only high risk high rewards. Crypto trading can get you that. The question is you get the mind? |

We were told that NNPC is the sole importer of fuel into the country. |
Remember Tinubu is the minister for petroleum. The head rolling may have to start from the Minister for petroleum |
The population of Mauritius is 1.263 million as 2022. 86.56% of 1.263 million = 1,093,253 approximately. Nigeria’s population is unknown but let’s go by 200 million. 67.76% of 200 million = 135,520,000 approximately. We can agree that Nigeria has population of people with higher IQ than all African countries. |

Organized scam. Before May 29 2023, fuel price was 185 naira to a liter. We had subsidy, dollar was about 700 naira. May 29, 2023: President said “Subsidy is gone” in his inaugural speech. Fuel price rose to over 300 per liter. A few weeks later “We have floated the naira” or “unified the exchange rate”. Dollar traded for about 1000 naira. June 12: Mr. President said in his democracy day speech, there was no going back on fuel subsidy removal. July: Dollar rate kept skyrocketing, prompting NNPC to readjust petrol price to “meet current realities”. Petrol sold for at least 568 Naira a liter. August 2023: Subsidy was reintroduced through the back door even though the federal government kept denying it. August 2024: The federal government has spent more than any government since 2005 in subsidy payment in 17 months. President, Senate president, Vice president asked the people to bear with them that the reforms will take time, yet the president bought a new Cadillac, a new Presidential plane, there’s also rumors of a presidential yacht which could have been bought. VP got a 21b naira residence, SP and his fellow senators got cars valued at over 160M naira each. Minimum wage given to the people is 70,000 Naira. Who is deceiving who? |
Multiply the figure by 2. The airbus purchase leaks from Sahara reporters a few months back have made me believe these guys get their facts right. It shows our so called leaders no rate or fear the people at all. |
UAE provided a list of terrorist financiers in Nigeria some years back, I don’t think I heard any news where the police invited any of them neither was there any news of the names being mentioned. |
GiggsTk:Do you still have the Pixel? |
Fommz:Is the pixel 6 still available? |
He say na Honorable Barrister. They’ll be no regrets if INEC conducts LG elections. Even if there are, let them try first. |

This is funny. You just want to blame the South Eastern people for a project that was carried out and executed by the FG. You said it costs $2bn to construct yet you do not fault the Government(s) that constructed it, but instead you decided to blame the people in the South East Region. If you have been opportune to travel around Nigeria, you’ll know that the Niger bridge serves more than just the people of the South East. Vehicles and goods coming from the Northern part of the country to the Southern part make use of this bridge and vice versa. This hate and bigotry needs to stop. It makes some of you sound and look stupid because you’re blinded by it. |
