christistruth01:The entirety of Lagos is Ijebuland. You’re correct. |
christistruth01:lol. You call VI Ijebu land. VI? You no even mention Ikorodu. VI wey dey centered. Soon una go call Badagry Ijebu land. |
Yoruba Land starts and ends in Oyo. Go to history and verify who are the people called Yoruba and who named them. |
BoldBrainz:Okay, you are right. Thank you. |
Paraman:Losing his seat is temporary, that’s even if it happens. He’ll regain it in the next election |
Beremx:lol. Where she dey go to use 2,142.8 liters of fuel monthly? She dey travel round the country? |
See as so called “honorable members” dey yell af each other. Chai. Everybody just dey flex power. No one wants to be submissive. |
Pass it into law in case another person takes you to court in the future. |
Anything that has to do with car maintenance. First I scan it, check the code errors online, YouTube for similar problems others may have faced. You see these our mechanics in Lagos, they are so carefree. When I had to change my transmission fluid, I bought a new funnel, cleaned it at home, put inside a nylon bag and told the mechanic to use that funnel to put the fluid into the box. I did so because I saw the hose they use in changing the fluid and said no I can’t let them use this same hose that has been used to run different types of fluid into my transmission. I go set a day aside and sit with you till you finish the work. I even join in the work to clean out some stuff. |
All these for a position you can’t take to your grave. |
Some clothes washing instructions state “do not bleach”. Are you sure that shirt doesn’t read the same? |
The same coastlines that belong to the federal government? Lagos flooding issues is mainly due to bad, blocked and ill planned drainage systems. Fix that first and see if it will work or not. Abi coastline pass through Surulere? |
Also remember to criminalize agberoism |
See the kind of people we elect as leaders. You budgeted 2.24trn naira for over 7000 projects (mostly useless ones) and budget a little over 700bn naira for health for the entire country. Still we have some people supporting this madness all in the name of party and tribe. Just know that if you think you’re enjoying some benefits from them it’s only for a period of time. |
If una serious, come down to Isalu-Ijanikin express way. Just after Second gate agboju, there’s a refuse dump site there. They push carts against traffic even at night. |
helinues:If the leaders do the right thing , the youth will not just “wake up one day and start destroying and looting businesses” Give me instances when these you mentioned have happened in Nigeria aside during ENDSARS protest. Mind you that happened only towards the end of the protest when louts started taking advantage and looted peoples stores in some parts of Lagos. The looting of warehouses that stored Covid-19 palliatives that were meant to be shared to the people was carried out during protests right? Or it was some “disgruntled election losers” that did that as well. The truck carrying cattle that broke down on the road and cattle slaughtered and pilfered by some people in a northern state are also “disgruntled election losers”. The government have a responsibility to govern in fairness and justice, failure to do so whatever the repercussions are they face it. They live in luxury and expect the people to be the ones to bear the pains of redirecting a country they put in the wrong direction to begin with. |
helinues:What exactly are you insinuating? If those in power decide the best way they can govern is to punish the people with insensitive and cruel policies that does not affect them is it wrong for the people suffering the cruelty to retaliate by staging protests? Are you telling me you or no one close to you in your family and friends clique has not complained about how bad situation of things are in this country? |
mrvitalis:I don’t run gen most times. I hate gen because of the noise. |
mrvitalis:I use prepaid meter at home. I don’t turn on all my appliances at once. Most of the time what I have on is my refrigerator, one or two fans, a few light bulbs etc. My refrigerator is inverter type (consumes very little electricity), TV is energy saving type, light bulbs are all energy saving. I do not recharge every month because one recharge takes me through 3 months. |
Someone like you must not be allowed to get power. It is certain you’ll misuse it. What a shame. |
mrvitalis:If this is how you calculate and run your business, I’m sorry to say you’re terrible at it. Steady power supply beats generator usage hands down. I have an office in a shopping complex in Lagos. There is no national power there at all. We used to run generators daily. Before the hike in fuel price, I used to spend 10k weekly and about 40k monthly on petrol. When fuel prices came up to about 600/l you can imagine how much we spent on fuel weekly. An independent solar company came and installed solar panel and inverters in every shop and office. Currently we spend 20k on power monthly. Some spend less, some spend more. Depends on your consumption. If NEPA can guarantee steady supply of electricity, I will choose it over use of generators over and over again. It’s cheaper, cleaner and better. |
