The Ybnl boss and rapper Olamide Adedeji has partnered with Seyi and Layal Tinubu to donate food to the less privileged during the lockdown to curb the spread of COVID-19.
The partnership was brokered by Layal Tinubu’s Noella foundation and has Olamide’s YBNL and Food Clique as major partners.
According to a joint statement from Tinubu and Olamide, the partnership aims at delivering emergency food relief items to over 1000 persons across the state.
“For the past couple of days, my wife and our foundation, Noella Foundation, partnered with a music label, YBNL, Olamide, Fireboy DML and FoodClique to deliver emergency food relief items to over 1000 persons across the state,” Tinubu noted.
Speaking further, Tinubu said, “This is the first week of such an initiative, and @noellafoundation and YBNL will be actively doing its best to support Lagosians and Mr. Governor’s formidable Team weekly.” YBNL signee, Fireboy DML joined the team as he actively helped in packaging and distributing food relief items to people across Lagos State.
Olamide and Tinubu join several notable Nigerians donating food item relief to people across Lagos state since the lockdown that was occasioned by the spread of coronavirus in Nigeria.

Famous Nollywood Actress, Funke Akindele and her husband, AbdulRasheed Bello popularly known as JJC Skillz, have been sentenced to 14 days community service.
Funke Akindele and her husband were charged to court for violating restriction orders in Lagos.
On the 6th of April, 2020 at about 11am, Funke Akindele Bello and her husband Abdul Rasheed Bello were arraigned at the Chief Magistrate Court 1 Ogba on one count charge
They were brought to Court by detectives from the State Criminal Investigation Department Yaba led by the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of investigation, DCP Yetunde Longe.
The prosecuting team was lead by the Hon Attorney General of Lagos State, Moyosore Onigbanjo, SAN.
The charge was read to the accused persons by the Court and they pleaded guilty.Alongside then arrest in a statement on Monday, Police Spokesman, DSP Bala Elkana noted that Azeez Fashola a.k.a Naira Marley is now in police custody.
According to DSP Elkana, the singer will also be charged to Court for violating the restriction orders.
He further revealed that the command has launched a manhunt for the remaining persons who attended the party.

This is so shocking! The Ogun state police command on Sunday arrested the duo of Kehinde Bello aged 48 and 20 year old Monsuru Bankole alleged to be members of a syndicate who specialised in vandalising Telecom mast in Ifo local government area of the state and its environ.
Monsuru and Kehinde, according to statement from the Spokesman of the police command, DSP Abimbola Oyeyemi were arrested following a distress call received by the police in Ifo division that hoodlums numbering about ten have invaded an Airtel telecommunication mast at Ogun village area of the town and were about carting away the back up batteries of the mast valued at about N3m.
Receiving the distress call, the DPO Ifo division of the police, CSP Adekunle Samson was said to have quickly mobilized his anti robbery team and swiftly moved to the scene.
The hoodlums on sighting the police were said to have taken to their heels but they were hotly chased and two members of the gang were arrested while others escaped.
Recovered from them are: a Volkswagen bus with registration number APP 871 XH, twelve telecom back up batteries valued at about three million naira, gas cylinder, iron cutter, and other house breaking equipments.
Meanwhile, the Commissioner of police, CP Kenneth Ebrimson has ordered a massive manhunt for the escaped members of the gang and also directed that the arrested suspects be thoroughly investigated with the view to charging them to court as soon as possible.
