Politics › Re: Relationship Between Rainfall And Powe Supply In Nigeria by shiftmarket(m): 2:30pm On Oct 17, 2013 |
lionshare: I am not sure if this is the right place to post this, but I have always wondered why power supply seems to improve Only during rainy seasons. In my area, since July soon has the rain increased the power supply improved. Perhaps the experts in the house can explain the rationale behind this... And if this is only peculiar to Nigeria. The dams are fuller during this period as a result of the rains. More power is therefore usually generated. That is why it is during dry seasons that most govt brandish MEGAWATTS generated because this is like a peak period. Consequently, If the last mile infrastructure do not fail as a result of lightening or wind (eg poles falling and transformers blowing or like a previous poster said, if they are not drying their wires) this is the period to get more stable power. |

Family › Recommend A Creche In Ajah by shiftmarket(op): 3:17pm On Sep 25, 2013 |
Our baby will be 3months old soon and maternity leave is almost over, please anyone staying in ajah who was in a similar situation and can recommend a good crèche nanny should let me know. Please it has to be a pocket friendly rate without losing the most important role of adequately taking care of a child of that age.
Thanks family.

Next question will naturally be any recommendation at a reasonable price although I appreciate the fact that no price is too much for these little gift God has given, still a not too pricey one balance with reliable service will be appreciated. It does not have to be a big name I think. remember, its has to be around addo, ajah.
thanks again |
Family › Re: Recommend A Nanny In Ajah by shiftmarket(op): 10:30am On Sep 24, 2013 |
Thanks everyone then, Creche has it then. Creche was always my preferred choice until I started hearing things like child being too young to be in a school (crèche) etc, but with your overwhelming advice I will bow to superior logic.
Many thanks |
