House of the dragon episode 10 is 5/10 for me.

I am not impressed at all.

While the entire season of house of dragon is 7/10 for me.
They went a whole 10 episode without a major battle except the one with daemon in episode 2 or 3 if i am correct.

That's kind of strange for a game of thrones franchise, even the rings of power gave us few battles and sword fights and cliffhangers.

Note!! The house of dragon is a great series but the entire season lacked suspense, it lacked thriller and definitely no mystery.

This to me is why i appreciate the ring of power the more because it had suspense, it has thriller and definitely lots of mysteries as people asking who is who, is this person still alive, what happened next?

The ring of power made us asked questions while house of the dragon just went plain and simple, not a single suspense or mystery.

I am not comparing both series.
I am just writing what house of the dragon lacked.

However i understand that the season two is when the show starts, however they should have ended the series with the episode 9 and episode 10 should have been the episode 1 of the season 2.

You don't end a season like that, it doesn't make sense.
They keep making the same mistake they did in the final episode of the last season of game of thrones.

Their final episode always gets people angry.

The person responsible for pacing of the series should be sacked because this episode 10 is supposed to be episode 1 of season 2.

House of dragon episode 9 is 10/10 for me.

Just like the ring of power, it may seems as though that we have to wait for season 2 before the real battle begins.

What i think about the last scene is that Rhanery is like a feminist, she doesn't like killing women and that was why she didn't kill Aegon immediately the queen went and stood in from of him and i think the queen knows that she won't kill Aegon is she went and stood in front of him, so she calculated very quickly.
I think the queen's boldness truly impressed her and she took a liking to the queen and that's why she didn't kill him and rather give her a warning.
Initially she wanted to roast Aegon to charcoal.

However i think we are not given Queen Alicen the honour and praise she deserves.
She wasn't only a good and faithful wife, she has a clean heart and wouldn't subscribe to murder and lastly she loves Rhanery like a sister.

The boldness she has to stand in front on princess Rhanery's dragon puting her life on the line just shows that there is no greater love on earth that a mother's love.
That scene where she put her life on the line is heroic for me.

And Alicen knowns that Sir criston has a thing for her, she knows sir criston loves and desire her but for her to keep her self and not open her legs for sir Criston for more almost 20 years now, shows that she is indeed an honorable queen and a good wife.
I am not sure Rhanery would have been able to control herself and not cheat for that long, if the reverse was the case, and Rhanery was in the position of Alicen, i am sure all her children will be fathered by sir criston thereby deceiving the king forever.

Whatever happens from now on, i am very proud of Alicent, even if she later gives in to sir criston, at least she did it after the death of her husband or even if she later decided to be bad. At least we know she has been pushed to the wall and she must protect her children.

In all of the people In all the seven kingdoms, Queen Alicent is the most honourable for me and would have made a very fine and peaceful queen.

It's surprising how HOTD continues to get better with each episode ever since the 6th one. 6, 7, 8 has been an improvement over the former!!

10/10 is now an understatement for episode 8s masterstroke of acting genius.
Look at how literally every single character in HOTD is discussed. No dull moment. Every actor brought their A-game. Look at the maid that got the abortion tea. Viserys is very much hated and yet still loved or understood.
That's how complex House of The Dragon characters are. There's always grey areas to each character.
That Viserys walk to the throne is singularly the BEST & MOST MEMORABLE scene on TV 2022. Also the dinner scene. At least man was happy for a moment before his death.
Still, doesn't excuse the fact that he's the reason for the downfall of the Targaryen dynasty. He chose love or personal interest over duty to the Kingdom and now wants others to serve the Kingdom.
If he had married the Velaryons this wouldn't have happened. Baba now has the wiping out of the second remaining Valyrian house on his head.
Although Corlys ain't dead yet sha. Rhaenys is probably next.


This is what seperates shows legacy from one another. Hardly anyone talks about the characters or personalities of major characters in RoP.
Sadly these reasons above are what are going to judge Amazon's Rings of Power and why it'd be considered below HOTD.

Cos there's hardly any character that's memorable in the show except maybe the dark Elf. The love the show continues to enjoy is mainly due to its predecessors and the characters which people are familiar with in the books or movies (Galadriel, Elrond, Sauron, Gandalf). Not because the show has been outstanding on its own or given new memorable perspective to some characters that endear them to viewers more.

While RoP has truly improved in later episodes and picked up pace, it's nowhere near the mastery of HOTD. Cos HOTD's acting alone will blow it away talkless of the writing, character driven arc, world building and entire scope.

Rhaenyra is an annoying tyrant in the books but she's been given new perspective and complexity in the show which even the original lacks. That's how you develop and improve upon a story.

In summary, Tinubu restructured administration in Lagos State and opted for decentralization of power to benefit Local Government Areas.

The other 2 major candidates hated the idea of decentralization and restructuring while they were in power.

Tinubu's antecedents show that he is most likely the candidate that will restructure the country and promote true federalism when he becomes President.

Today was my worst streaming experience. I could barely get one straight minute of action without interruption, on various platforms.

That said, from what I was able to watch, this was a much improved performance from Mount, Chilly and Kovacic. James didn't handle Leao as I would've hoped, but he stepped up and put the game to bed with the assist and the goal.

Lovely performance. Dealing with Milan just like we dealt with Juve last season. Told y'all we would beat them.

Potter's start keeps getting better.

My hope for y'all that hold the view that the right to claim a dragon goes to a next of kin is that the series gets to show how sheepstealer roasts all those potential dragonseeds when they try to claim it.
