FamilyRe: I Dont Want Totally Obedient Children by shizzleStar: 1:08pm On Sep 02, 2014
ATSOMEH: I have always loved children who have a mind of their own, whom we term as 'stubborn', such children channeled in the right direction would hardly have problems with negative peer pressure.
Exactly my thoughts. Unlike children who will have a fight with their classmates and run home crying to mummy and daddy that his classmate who is probably smaller and younger than him beat him. I actually like children who are somewhat sturbbon, i used to be one myself cheesy cool
FamilyRe: I Dont Want Totally Obedient Children by shizzleStar: 1:04pm On Sep 02, 2014
Its good for a child to have an independent mind of his own to an extent. That way it shows the child growing up with the prospect of appreciating responsibilities even from an early age

FamilyRe: LADIES!!!! What Did You Give Hubby During His Last Birthday. by shizzleStar: 12:51pm On Sep 02, 2014
helen4: @shizzleStar, that is more like it. thank you. give us more as a guy.
Helen there's nothing really out of the ordinary. Like i said earlier, its all about knowing your man and what he loves(cherishes).

If he is the jewelry kind of man, you could get him a gold wrist watch, gold wrist chain, gold necklace OR an exotic perfume. Thinking aloud now, if he is the type that cuts his hair every weekend or every two weeks and does not have a personal clipper (possible but i doubt that) in addition to a perfume, get him a brand new clipper (original WHAL). cheesy

If you dont find any of these satisfactory, i have another idea, one that will blow your man away, but i guess by now you should be able to make a good choice. winkcheesy
FamilyRe: LADIES!!!! What Did You Give Hubby During His Last Birthday. by shizzleStar: 12:24pm On Sep 02, 2014
helen4: @ephe. Ouch. keep it alive.
@phema. Hmm, i will try that on hubby's birthday.
@ kweenkong. Sincerely, i never taught of that PLUS ephe's opinion is perfect cos am sure her gift to hubby will not be the regular type. U know what i mean(smile).
@ shizzlestar. MYOB. What's your opinion?
@Godmystrenght, sex, perfume, gold wristwatch, suede shoe, t.shirt, car, vacation, favourite food etc. Ladies keep going.
You asked me to mind my business and in another breadth asking for my opinion undecided

well in my opinion, i insist that sexxx shouldnt be considered a gift at all, cos birthday or not, man must chop kpekus, tongue let alone when a spouse is involved, its almost an everyday thing, so nothing special about sexxx. IMO

Ill give an idea thou, if your hubby is a sucker for footwears like myself, then get him a very nice pair of shoes (the type he likes to wear). eg i love simple shoes like snickers and suedes too. It could also be a very nice long sleeve shirt etc... Its really not one-size-fits-all thinggy, and theres no hard and fast rule on what present to get your hubby on his birthday. As someone you know very well, just get him something you are convinced he would appreciate and give you a huge ear-to-ear smile/grin when he sees it.

However, If you find getting him a gift too common or undecided, you can choose to give him a treat on the day. Tell him you want to spoil him on his birthday, take him out to a very cozy and appreciable jolly/social joint, let him have whatever food or drink he wants till his stomach begins to ache from over feeding (ofcourse on your bill) and then when you get home at night, you can now spice it up with a steamy sexxx session, a mind blowing Mouth Action in addition wouldn't hurt. winktonguecheesy
FamilyRe: How Many Parents Are Guilty Of This? by shizzleStar: 11:52am On Sep 02, 2014
Phema: Well, they are successful in your own standards. Nope, i will not want my children picking up such careers. Call me old school and ignorant, i won't argue. It is just what I want.
Your definition of standard is up to you. I have no intention of arguing with you cos everyone cannot want thesame thing

FamilyRe: How Many Parents Are Guilty Of This? by shizzleStar: 11:11pm On Sep 01, 2014
Phema: When every child these days want to be like Davido, Kaffy and the likes, why won't parents "force" them to take up "reasonable" careers.

I might not be forcing my kids, but I'm sure gonna steer them towards careers I think will be lucrative and beneficial to them in future, as long as I know they are capable of doing well in these chosen professions.

Aint gonna waste my time, energy and resources training a child in a profession that won't be lucrative in future.
Pls tell me you didn't mean the bolded.

Are you by any chance trying to say Davido, kaffy et al aren't having successful careers or that there careers aren't lucrative? smh!

You should have asked properly, the 's' you added to 'girl' made it ambiguous. Yes, 'she' is female.

Godmystrength: Ladystewie na girls??
this - singular
these - plural

its either this girl or these girls, you should have known that I preferred to use the plural to refer not just to ladystewie but to her likes too, the same way she chose to use these men and not this man...

Poor attempt smartie cheesy

FamilyRe: Help!! I Forgot To Give Offering In Church Today by shizzleStar: 2:37pm On Sep 01, 2014
crackhaus: grin

I believe the problem is exactly that bit in bold. Do you go to church to impress others or to care what they'll think of you if you stay back in your seat during offerings?
But I understand your point though.
exactly the hypocrisy I talked about in my comment, pleasing their fellow men to displease God
FamilyRe: Help!! I Forgot To Give Offering In Church Today by shizzleStar: 2:34pm On Sep 01, 2014
Godmother: Lol cheesy

@OP
I'm sure God is not angry with you, since it wasn't intentional. Stop worrying over nothing
Joavid: Judge not. Besides, it was not intentional and God is not mean.
What exactly dyu mean by the bolded?
she forgot her purse at home, yes not intentional

But she dropped an empty envelope into the offering box, knowing fully well she put no money into it, if that wasnt deliberate, then I don't know what it is.

This is why ego/shame should be put away sometimes. God will understand if you put your pride away and sat back on your sit since you had no money, rather than the hypocrisy of trying to save face by singing and dancing pretentiously to drop an empty envelop, God will definitely frown at it

Too early for that bruv . . . .grin
I know right, at least an overwhelming majority of those in attendance will vote him, that's a given.

Its a two away thing thou, as there's no guarantee that attendees at APC rallies will vote them too. Ekiti readily comes to mind cool

redcliff: Abeg pack your bad market and keep your opinion to yourself..this song may not be a club banger but its a beautiful song. Tell me what artiste in nigeria is doing something close to this at the moment. You nigerians are to closed minded and not musically versatile. Thats why you want to stick to what you know..rubbish
don't mind her with her with her yeye ITK, feeling like one music expert. To her if its not a party hit, then its wack...nonsense

safarigirl: [s]I'm not feeling the song yet. That auto-tune is unnecessary, Peter was dancing a little too hard (like ease into it, don't force it), the video quality is poor IMO.

I'm a big P-square fan, but this song no just be am...they tried to sound too American, we've heard Usher and CB, we've heard Pharrell and JT, give us P-square, the P-square we love, the P-square of More Than A Friend and Roll It, not this[/s].
Absolute bunkum!

Spare us the BS, Peter has always been an energetic dancer, so your opinion that he is forcing it or dancing too hard is not only flawed but also betrays your claim that you are a p-square fan cos if you were, you would have known that this was vintage Peter.

That you are not feeling the song doesn't mean the song 'no be am'. The fact that this particular song has an american flavour simply underlines their versatility, it doesn't have to be the usual 'more than a friend, roll it' kind, and TI killed it too with his well delivered verse. The video may not be the best but it will score above average.

Nice one P-Square, more of such collabo's cool
