First let me say that this is wrong in every way. You’re not supposed to use your worship to disturb other people’s lives and businesses. But for those that are here to make an emotional outburst about this and all those that see this medium to express and assert their hatred for muslims and Islam, please go to hell with ur hatred! How many times have people been put in untold hardship because of RCCG and MFM causing traffic jam on Lagos Ibadan expressway! Having so called youths like yourselves is the reason this country is not moving forward! Bullsh1t!!! |
Evaberry:Chaiiiii! |

maleeks:Bad guy! Chop knuckle!!! Plenty people still no Sabi dat road. Cars are always scanty on that road. I did 209km/h in my 07 Mercedes Benz C280 4MATIC |
bizzibodi:Maybe someday you find yourself going to ilorin from Lagos, follow through ogbomosho to link to that road. I hope then it would still be in top shape like it is now. I still drove on the same road about a month ago and it's still superb. This time though I resisted exceeding 150km/h cos I have a beautiful daughter now!!! ![]() |
DaimlerBen:Yes o! |

have u seen where toks tyres are shipped into naija?! I bet you'll be scared |
GAZZUZZ:I beg to disagree sir. Toks tyres that they bring here will fail you with the way they are shipped. I have seen toks tyres that failed with correct tyre pressure and not driven at speeds up to 120km/h sometimes you just gotta be lucky! |
erico2k2:We know you buy toks tyres there, the difference is that the ones we buy here are shipped in very terrible conditions like folding some tyres into another. You sure know the implication of that. |
Partnerbiz:It's not about making fp guy. I would not be crazy to do such where there are dangote trucks! It was a free smooth road and you can see upto 5km ahead. I was very sure of my car except I didn't expect that toks tyre would behave that way despite having a V rating. The other 8month old Michelin tyres at that time are still fine up till today. |
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) says that a missionary school in Abia state championed examination malpractice during the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). Fabian Benjamin, head, media and information, JAMB, disclosed this to NAN in Lagos on Tuesday. He said that cables were seen to have been secretly connected to a distant hall for hired mercenaries to write for candidates in the unnamed Abia school. “This is very unfortunate given the fact that the school is a missionary school and supposed to be a leading light against such vices,” Benjamin said. “But, rather, it was conniving, supporting and indeed championing the evil course of examination malpractice.” He said that results from such schools would be treated in accordance with the provision of the law. “We want to appeal to Nigerians to understand that such candidates whose results are being previewed may not necessarily have participated in any malpractice,” he said. “But rather, centres, where they sat for the examination, had issues during the conduct of examination. “These issues were reflected on the CCTV footage and this suggests why they must be carefully investigated before releasing such results.” He said that a task force has been inaugurated by Is-haq Oloyede, the registrar of the board, to look into all such issues and has since concluded the review of the CCTV footage and other pieces of evidence presented. He said the task force would forward its reports to the appropriate quarters for the scrutiny and onward release of all remaining results. “We urge candidates to note that no result will be withheld without a cogent reason as this explains why we are taking time to ensure that those who are innocent are exonerated,” Benjamin said. “Again, candidates are advised not to patronise any centre, office or shop for any service; please visit our offices in all the 36 states of the Federation and FCT for any complaint, enquiry or assistance.” Benjamin further noted that JAMB is yet to release cut-off marks for placements into tertiary institutions for the 2017 academic year. He said that the policy committee meeting responsible for the determination of cut-off marks had not met. The JAMB spokesperson said it is in the best interest of candidates and other critical stakeholders to jettison cut-off marks for the various courses that are currently being paraded. “We want to appeal to all candidates to jettison such speculations and engage themselves in more meaningful ventures that would add value to their future,” he said. https://lifestyle.thecable.ng/jamb-utme-exam-cut-off-marks/ |
This post is months old naaaa |
So there was this day I was headed to Lagos from Ilorin, Kwara State. I remembered there was this express road - Ilorin-Ogbomosho expressway. So me and my partner-in-crime, my twin brother decided to do something crazy about 1 year ago. My car which is a 2007 Mercedes Benz C280 4MATIC was just 9 months with me and delivers impressive performance, so we decided to give her the push of her life and see how she would fair. We clocked to between 180-190km/h the first time, then we changed and I took the wheels. Lo and behold, this car surprised me with an impressive 209km/h and could have gone more if I had pushed further but then the sweet part of the road was finishing. The interesting thing was that this car was so damn stable and we could only feel little vibrations at over 200km/h. We learnt quite a few things about car handling at the high speed. It was a costly fun though but it was fun. The car would normally consume about 15 litres of fuel from Lagos to Ibadan which is about 140-150km distance with A/c on and about 100km/h average speed. But on this day, we burnt that same amount of fuel just covering about 50km distance. At the end of the whole frenzy, after another 1hr drive past oyo, we discovered the car started vibrating at speeds above 80km/h and kept flashing the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) caution. In summary, we got to the car checked the next day in Lagos and discovered the only tokunbo tyre I had on had failed and twisted, that was the reason for the vibration. Please stay off tokunbo tyres at all cost!!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AFiuo30mEj4 |
