Only people who argue with sentiment will talk like that.

Even the elites of Nigeria will tell the truth about Nigeria every once in a blue moon when they are not appealing to religous or tribal sentiment as you can see from below:

It's because once one part of Nigeria is allowed to leave, it will begin falling apart piece by piece.
Nigeria's elites know that if Nigeria falls apart, easy access to oil wealth will disappear.
Northern elites also know that they will become landlocked in addition to becoming the poorest country on earth.

Mainstream secular history has also shown that the Jewish people have a continuous connection to the land which dates back three thousand of years, my dear retarded kaffir. Meanwhile your beloved Palestinian dogs and pigs are the descendants of Arab slaves called fellaheen and sharecroppers who were brought in chains to work the land by their Ottoman owners.

Only difference is that the Jews are the aggressors, as you mentioned they feel entitled to the land because of biblical history.
You mean the same Ottomans who sold the land to Zionists in the 19th century?
In the 19th century, virtually all the land I that region was sold by the Ottomans to European Zionist Jews at hugely inflated prices because it was difficult to farm the land and most of the Arab sharecroppers and slaves didn't want to waste their lives working for dirt cheap pay from their Ottoman masters, so the Ottomans sold the land to Zionists. A lot of wealthy Jewish families in the West like the Rothschild and the Mayer families paid the Ottomans well in order to acquire the land. So technically, your Palestinian dogs are squatters and the Israelis have every right to evict them from the land.

Remind us again how they got dispossessed & explain to yourself how the ottomans got to reign in the region from 1516 -1917. Palestinians have as much right to claim that land,

Your lack of reading skills is even more appalling - when did i mention biblical history because i clearly stated 80 years, which dates back to the 1940s.
So the people who have a continuous identity and attachment to the land from thousands of years ago are the colonisers, but the ones whose identity dates back to 80 years are the real owners?
Thank you for proving just how stupid the average South African is. No wonder a dimwit rapist like Jacob Zuma was able to succeed in South African politics.

The whole world has agreed there should be a two-state solution to attain peace in that region and yet Israel continues to grab land meant for a future Palestinian state. And then you all wake up like dummies on some October 7 Saturday crying terrorism when all along Israel had been terrorizing Palestinians. Nonsense!
The Internet is the worst place for the exhibition of ignorance and stupidity because the internet never forgets!
Imagine making this type of blunder when the truth about who is rejecting the two state solution is well known to all the world, smh.

And who is a Palestinian? There has never been a nation or state called Palestine in history. What are the names of some of the past Kings or rulers of Palestine? Or the name of their capital city or cities?
You can't answer any of those questions because no such thing has ever existed
All the major cities in that area have Hebrew names like Jerusalem, Bethlehem, Nazareth, Hebron etc and Hebrew is the language of the Jewish people.
The Jews were offered land in East Africa, but as principled people, they rejected it because the only land they wanted is the land of their ancestors.
Your ignorance is appalling.

MzansiCoolio:
Are Palestinians terrorists or freedom fighters? They been under Israeli occupation and apartheid for 80 years now.
What freedom? The land does not belong to them and if they insist on any nonsense they will be dealt with like the born criminals they are.

How else should they gain their freedom? Their retaliation shouldn't be labelled as terrorism - Israel itself are terrorists disguised as a democracy.

MzansiCoolio:
The ruling African National Congress (ANC) in South Africa has reignited calls to rename Sandton Drive after Leila Khaled, an activist and member of the resistance movement Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine.

The ANC in the Greater Johannesburg region launched the petition this week and picketed outside the US Consulate on Thursday.

The petition has been supported by ANC secretary-general Fikile Mbalula, who posted a video on his X account, saying the petition was supported by Luthuli House (ANC headquarters).

“We support the renaming of Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive, not yesterday, today,” he said.

Khaled, 79, is recognised around the world as the first woman to hijack a passenger aeroplane and the face of female Palestine militancy and resistance.

In 1969, she hijacked a passenger jet flying to Tel Aviv from Rome and diverted it to Damascus. There were no injuries.

Other people championing the call include Thuthukile Zuma, the daughter of former president Jacob Zuma, who has been calling for people to sign the petition.

On Thursday, the ANC Greater Johannesburg Region, with members sporting Palestinian keffiyehs, hosted a picket outside the US Consulate, demanding the City of Joburg implement its Council resolution to rename Sandton Drive Leila Khaled Drive'.

“The decision was taken five years ago, and we urge the city to expedite the implementation of this important resolution not only in honour of Leila Khaled but in solidarity with the struggle of the people of Palestine,” said ANC Joburg regional secretary Sasabona Mangaye.

According to a September 2023 report in the SA Jewish Post, Joburg's Transport MMC Kenny Kunene, who is also the deputy president of the Patriotic Alliance, which is pro-Israel, will not allow the renaming to take place.

“I disagree strongly with the renaming of Sandton Drive to Leila Khaled Drive, and the Patriotic Alliance will never vote for it,” Kunene told the publication, adding that local heroes were more deserving.

In December 2018, the ANC, supported by the Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF), tabled a motion in the Johannesburg Council for the renaming of Sandton Drive to Leila Khalid Drive.

At the time, EFF Joburg region chairperson Musa Novela said the city of gold had a responsibility to stand with the people of Palestine and highlight their plight.

“It's our duty to stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine against the oppressive state of Israel.”

The Democratic Alliance (DA), which was running the city with the backing of the EFF and others at the time, shot down the motion, and its Community Development MMC, Nonhlanhla Sifumba, said the motion lacked substance as the name Khaled held no meaning for the people of Joburg.

She said at the time that street names should promote a sense of ownership and the character of the city as per its street-naming policy.

“In this case, this motion fails to meet any of the requirements.”

The motion was reportedly adopted.

In October, Khaled, on her most recent visit to South Africa, delivered the keynote address at the Third International Dilemmas of Humanity Conference, which was hosted by the National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa in Joburg.

Over 14,500 people have been killed in Gaza since Israel began it's bombardment.

The Palestinian death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to over 14,500 - including the massacre of 6,000 children and 4,000 women - since the outbreak of the Hamas-Israel conflict on October 7.

FamilyBBC Africa News: Seventy-year-old Ugandan Woman Gives Birth To Twins by ShoeGetSize(op): 1:06pm On Dec 01, 2023
A 70-year-old woman has given birth to twins following IVF treatment, a hospital in Uganda has said.

https://www.hostpic.org/images/2312011734420091.jpg

Safina Namukwaya delivered a boy and a girl via caesarean at a fertility centre in the capital, Kampala.

Ms Namukwaya, who is is one of the oldest women to give birth, told local media it was a "miracle".

The hospital congratulated her, saying it is more than a "medical success; it's about the strength and resilience of the human spirit".

Dr Edward Tamale Sali, a fertility specialist at the Women's Hospital International and Fertility Centre (WHI&FC), told BBC the mother used a donor egg and her partner's sperm for the In-vitro fertilisation (IVF) procedure.

The babies were born prematurely at 31 weeks and placed in incubators. Dr Sali says they are currently "stable".

n 2019, a 73-year-old Indian woman gave birth to twins following IVF treatment.

"We've achieved the extraordinary - delivering twins to Africa's oldest mother aged 70!" the (WHI&FC) posted on its Facebook page.

Ms Namukwaya told Uganda's Daily Monitor newspaper that her pregnancy had been difficult as her partner abandoned her when he realised she was going to have twins.

"Men don't like to be told that you are carrying more than one child. Ever since I was admitted here, my man has never showed up," she said.

This is Ms Namukwaya's second delivery in three years. She gave birth to a baby girl in 2020.

She said she had wanted to have children after she was mocked for being childless.

"I looked after people's children and saw them grow up and leave me alone. I wondered who would take care of me when I grow old," she is quoted as saying.

Typically women go through menopause between the ages of 45 and 55. Fertility drops around this time but advances in medicine have made it possible for them to give birth.

IVF is one of several techniques. During the process an egg is removed from a woman's ovaries and fertilised with sperm in a laboratory.

The fertilised egg, called an embryo, is then put in a woman's womb to grow and develop.

Right from the beginning, from the earliest of recorded history, Benin has always dominated Eko politically and they would have continued to do so till this date were it not for the British taking over and forcing Oba Akintoye to sign a treaty which made Lagos a British Colony.
Up till that point in Lagos history, all the Obas of Lagos from the first Oba of Lagos Ologun Kutere were buried in Benin. It was only after the British freed Lagos from their Benin masters that Lagos Obas began to be buried in Lagos itself.

seunmsg:
Awori l'onile, awon l'omo olofin
Baba tiwan l'onile, awon l'omo olofin

The above is absolute nonsense. The current Oba of Lagos is from the Ologun Kutere ruling house. Ologun Kutere was enthroned in 1749 after the death of Oba Akinsemoyin. Akinsemoyin did not have male children old enough to take the throne so Ologun Kutere, the son of Erelu Kuti and Alaagba was appointed Oba. Erelu Kuti was the daughter of Oba Ado while Alagba was an Ijesha man who worked for Oba Akinsemoyin.

Since 1749, the Ologun Kutere lineage has been producing the Oba of Lagos including the Akinnolu. The Binis stopped ascending the throne since 1749 and so shall it remain. The Bini ruling house (Akinsemoyin) went to court after Akinolu was appointed and they lost woefully.

VEHINTOLAR:
Stop spewing gibberish,Obanikoro is not a bini name ! You guys will just be sounding like an Authority on a subject matter you know nothing about ! How on earth is Obanikoro any Bini name when the word "Oba" itself was alien to the Binis before the arrival of Oranmiyan,a Prince from Ile Ife in their midst ?! The word "Oba" was coined from OBAtala, the first king in Yoruba land and who owns all the Yoruba Oba's crowns till tomorrow! Is Obatala not a Yoruba deity today ?!

Believe it or not,the only connection between Lagos royalty and that of Benin's is Oranmiyan ! Go and read the Ijaws'accounts of the history of Benin. The Ijaws stated very clearly in their own accounts that the "Benin royalty is of Yoruba descent" ! The Ijaws are Binis next door neighbors and they witnessed the arrival of "an highly influencial Yoruba Prince from Ife with his very large entourage" ! Go and read the Ijaws accounts of Benin history,it's on the internet !

I don't know if you're a Bini or not but the truth is that Yoruba culture influenced Bini's culture greatly, it's not other way round ! Is "Oyegun" a Bini name ? That's a Yoruba man's name from a family or compound with a renowned chieftaincy tittle ! Words like "Iya Oba", "Olori", "Asipa","Balogun",etc are well rooted in Yoruba language, they are all Yoruba names which the Binis have retained ! Bronze casting which Benin is renowned for today all over the world, was actually an ancient skill of the Ile Ife people which was taken to "Ile Ibinu" - Benin by Oranmiyan's entourage !

These Binis are quite funny and highly illogical in their reasonings. You claim Aworis are Binis but the progenitor of Awori people,Olofin Ogunfunminire was a Yoruba Prince from Ile Ife. Awori's quarters is in Ile Ife till tomorrow! Did Ogunfunminire change his name to Yoruba name or what 'cause that's clearly a Yoruba name ! As a matter of fact, the Olofin there is one the tittles of Oduduwa - Olofin Adimula of Ile Ife.

Take it or leave it,Bini people are not Yoruba but the Benin's royalty belongs to the Yoruba and that's the only connection with Lagos ! Olu of Warri recently affirmed his Yoruba root when he visited Ogun state, the king of Accra - Ga Mantse (Adangbe of Accra) recently visited Ooni of Ife in Ile Ife and openly confirmed his Yoruba root,so many Kings in disapora with Yoruba ancestry have repeatedly told whoever cares to know that they are Yorubas from Ile Ife,it is one inconsequential Bini people in just a state in Nigeria who stupidly believe they can rewrite Yoruba history,ko Jo!
