Yes, u might not do 40k everyday some days u will do 50k someday 60k and very few days 30k maybe because u didnt start early or u closed earlier. Just mention the name of the device you are using will you compare itel with tecno?? Or oppo with Samsung... Google Pixel is the number one dey own android likewise you cant say mapping on iPhone 11 compare it with iPhone 16 iOS software inside both are not the same. Pearl1910: As if that's not bad enough, they have resumed blocking drivers for not accepting trips. Same here a month ago. I don't know I could do without them until I tried Indrive. But Indrive is too demanding. You have to always be on the look out, dragging ride with Glith & co. You can't simultaneously do other things on your phone. Indrive can be mentally draining. Many a time, most Indrive drivers don't even know when dd > ss or surge. They just keep accepting the ridiculousness, because Indrive allows the manipulation. Drivers will suffer when dd<ss and still suffer when dd>ss. But that freedom in Indrive is second to none. Indrive drivers just need to control the market and create surge. Stop accepting ridiculous fares. |

First time: VIO: Checked papers, all intact. Where is your Herkney and Lasdri Me: What is that? VIO: mumbbling. He couldn't give proper definition. Me: I don't know what that is, this is my private car with private plate... Zoom off. Second time: same. With rider also. Third time: VO: checked papers, all intact. VO: Are you Uber? Me: No. VIO: can you ome down? Me: Why? VO: want to check your extra tyre I already know they are up to something. My mistake, I came out. Before that, I told this olosho girl not to talk to them or tell them I am Uber. While distracting me with questioning, said he will show me from his phone that I am Uber, Me: told him to show me(was really angry here). Because he said they have driver details as uber . Another officer has gone to rider, unknown to me, recording her. All i heard was noise. Rider: I only book him, he is my driver oo, don't implicate me o. I just weak Called the VIO, now you don cash me , how e go be? VIO: told rider to cancel and book another ride without paying. The stupid girl quickly cancelled and trying to order another ride. I changed it for her and VIO. Eventually, sort them, took rider to destination. But I think is better to just get their nonsense paper than all these embarrassment. But is annoying because is still my private car. What I do with it is none of your business. If we are to look at the kind of business we all use our private car for, apart from Uber, all private car may have to have Herkney and Lasdri. I will only do it because of the forth and back and time wasting. Not because I feel is right. |

lexylexy: No thanks to the dashboard warriors. I won't be surprised if they start imposing some sort of Levy on ehailing drivers, since you people say you earn more than doctors and lawyers.
Everything has advantage and disadvantage. When you post huge earnings in a public forum like this, also think about the disadvantages. Also take into cognizance that it's not every driver that makes such.
Some drivers are still complaining about the low fares and seeking an increase. But how can you even justify that when some of y'all keep posting millions earnings monthly. Lagos state government Tax official viewing ehailing apps Posting the dashboard is not actually bad. But posting without details of your actual net is the problem. I smile whenever I see Bolt social media handles post with huge amounts make by drivers. Ofcurse, they don't care if you use fuel, urine or do car maintenance. Unfortunately, drivers also do this or even lie about their expenses and time spent daily, just to drive home their point of been a lucrative business. Nevertheless, it doesn't rule out the fact that you will one way or the other break even, but not as some describing it because of their ego, especially those generally low demands periods. Only few drivers post their car maintainance, but can post dashboard whenever demands are high. As if there are no other days that you will ask yourself, do you really know about this business . The point is, high dashboard is possible and also low demands and high car maintenance is possible. Week in, week out theory is still going through testing in the lab. However, motivation is good, but the absence of its reality makes it.... ...

And infact u sud establish contact with rider before moving an inch. You can contact rider after trip if the rider had a functional phone no registered on d app.

Uber is not serious. Rider can't send phone contact to driver through their app,. Driver can't send account details to riders Driver must start moving immediately you accept order, even when rider not picking calls or reply messages. Why will driver move without a response from rider. Drivers can't contact riders after the trip. But they've improved. Drivers freedom to chose order is the most important. Even Bolt still blocking drivers for acceptance rate. Imagine if Indrive is blocking drivers for the number of trip that pop up. |

They've held us hostage for more than an hour because of the issue.
What can we do about it. If you still at the point, sort them 2k and comot. If you've gotten to station, that is 5/7k problem. Had same issue, because most proof of ownership renewal comes with custom color. Custom means, not definite or standard because you can decide to change your car color next day. I was explaining and educating them on what custom means, but after some minutes, it dawn on me that I was talking to Nigeria police. All these grammar na waste of time. I just do normal and comot. I had to go do affidavit of 5k for wrong color, put it behind the normal papers. To tell you how much I hate talking or explaining things to Nigeria police. The more explanation, the more complicating it sounds to them. |

Pearl1910: If u want to do well using Indrive, then at every given time, analyse your position and know how much is good from where you are to at least 3 locations of your choice. So that when the trips to those places pops up, u can speedily accept or reject based on ur predetermined minimum acceptable fare. E.g if I am in GRA, I only want to go to 1. within Ikeja, 2k 2. Ogudu, gbagada, Alapere, Magodo, 5k 3. Yaba/Surulere, 6k 4. VI/Ikoyi, Lekki phase 1 8k I would have checked traffic situation and fixed in my head.
If u are the type that likes going to Ijesha, Ago, Festac, Egbeda, Igando, Abulegba , Meiran, AIT, Abijo. Do the same thing and u will see ur apprehension will reduce.
Don't be greedy, immediately u see a fare that satisfies ur minimum price u pick it immediately. No time to be checking time of trip, distance, amount/km and all that. Turnover is better in d long run. If u keep waiting for the juicy trips they will all pass u by then at the end of the day u will start taking nonsense trips just to meet up. Best way to operate Indrive is good short trips or medium trips. Long distance trips rarely make sense. Someone will be putting 12k from Ikeja to Sangotedo. 15k to Abijo. Meanwhile VI is 8k. Is it not better to do VI and back than to be going to Sangotedo? It's even better to do Ikeja to Yaba, then Yaba to VI than to be waiting for VI straight for 8k. Succinctly put boss. That is the golden rule 1. One way or the other, you will learn all these things without been told, you just have to be very calculative. But one of the major problem of Indrive is the 9-5/per time car owners, they picked anything pickable just to cover for fuel, couple with the desperate drivers. I really feel for Indrive drivers sometimes, the prices is simply slavery, even on Bolt if you are not patient. Bolt will test you. And there are sometimes, out of frustration ,you just want to leave the area. Meanwhile, Bolt not showing some trip destination again, what are you guys up to. I just assumed those trips are outer ring, so I don't pick them. Unfortunately, some are not. I checked one and it was Island trip. Pained me . @Glith, please you guys should create a 'permanent' hiding of trip on Indrive. Some trips needs to be permanently hidden till Jesus comes. The theory of time and KM depends on a lot of factors. During the recent Bolt surge lockdown, I did a trip to Yaba 3 times with 9/10k net. Picked 2 of them from Bonny camp roundabout, last one from Mobil, Ahmodu and close. Imagine driving 10/12km empty to island with just 15 minutes drive. Glith theory of time over km depends, but it works if most part of Lagos is a bit free. But lately, these apps are hell of a app. Not encouraging to open them. But man must survive. |
