Not that they don't know this but they are happy to be the Oluomo of ehailling industry. Who wouldn't want to sit and money will be raining into his bank account?
When u interact with these guys they are just full of bitterness and anger for the ehailing companies? Maybe because some of them have been blocked, rather than go and look for something else to do they are on a mission. For them, it's better Uber and Bolt folds up and go back to their country.

One would think if they so much want things to go well, they would have built their own app by now...put all the mega features, do marketing and and launch it free of commission and let it compete.

There's actually nothing to do, but accept fate. Next time when riders ask for such, pull over and ask them to get down from your car. If they want to be a nuisance, b ready to follow suit. Make them understand there is a reason why they have stop over indication.

I had similar experience early last year.
Was at Ogba and I set destination to Sangotedo. Got a request to badore after waiting for over 20mins for a request.

I rushed down to pickup and called the lady to notify her that I'm here already.
She entered the car and I asked her if she's going to Ajah.(my normal way of confirming rider's destination), but she didn't reply. I started the trip and she started directing me against the directions of the map. Map will be telling me to turn left, she will tell me to go right etc..
I asked her why, she said she want to pickup something. That's how we ended up on College road oh! Heading towards Iju road.

I had to park by the road immediately and ask her where she's going again. She replied me this time and said Jonathan Coker Road. Omo the thing pain me eh! The traffic on that iju road that day nobi here. The destination was about 3km from where I packed but map was saying 42mins to Jonathan Coker.

I asked her why she put badore as her destination but she denied it and said it must be a mistake that she's not going to Lekki. Na this one come pain me pass.

I quietly told her to get down from my car immediately and ended the ride with trip did not happen (when bolt still have that option).

It really pained me that day.
