We can lament all day long, this a multi billon dollar industry, drivers sadly are the pawns. The app company in America, Europe are even trying to remove the "entitled pawns", by rolling out more driverless cars.

On the CNG issue, imagine if every Nigerian motorist, install CNG, what happens in the future when a cheaper alternative comes on board, how do you safely dispose such amount of cylinder in an environmentally friendly manner, ultimately who bears the cost of the disposal? Honestly in our desperation for short term gains, we sometimes forget to look at the bigger pictures, mother nature always bear the cost.

I don't honestly mind entitled passengers, note not disrespectful passenger if they are actually paying the right fare for a trip. Imagine a trip from Ejigbo to Iponri estate, for less than N10k, and the passenger was lamenting... upon how much she is paying, i am not putting on my AC, i calmly told her lots of traffic and fuel is almost N1,400 per litre.

All for what? When and how are they gonna make this money back? Cos d moment they start increasing commissions we will all shout. And if they increase the fares back Riders will leave them.

For me more apps coming to compete in this space will only drag d price further down. The current App companies should collaborate or govt should regulate them to standardize the fares.

If I where in govt I would force Indrive and Bolt to have comparable prices with Lagride so as to make them desirable. Right now they hardly get customers cos the difference in price between Lagride and Bolt/Indrive is like night and day.

All over the world, Germany, UK, Spain, China, even Kenya and Tanzania, the govt regulates prices and fixes minimum fares to ensure a decent earning for the Industry players and protest the jobs of regular taxis.

To be honest, how would u feel if u were a yellow taxi operator after Uber and Bolt came into Nigeria? Bolt especially crashed trips of 5k to less than 2k.

I use CNG and what Nelo is saying annoys me. I installed CNG for myself, not for the app to reduce price. All the Danfo and Keke and CNG, do they care about if they will make profit if they carry the old price? They didn’t install to please any passenger.

What is bad is bad regardless o… I doubt he understands the insane ratio of distance/price if per km is 250. That’s like traveling form Ajah to Ikorodu for 15k. Imagine if 3 passengers enter, they will average 5k for that trip.

Driver will squeeze face all through the journey.

This isn’t speed cam, this should be for document, speed cam are mounted on scaffolding installed across the road, it normally have like 2 or 3 cameras to cover each lanes.

It’s similar to the camera at Allen junction that captures traffic light offenders.

The thing is everyone should only speak of their own experience and not try to shut others off. I know folks wjo earn 70k daily after expenses, i have once tried it 2 months ago, i did it for just a week and i had to rest all through the next week. Though it is better when you own the car sha...People make money on this ehailing till tomorrow, it is just that, there's a new influx of classless drivers who don't care or know enough about this hustle before venturing in it and are picking terrible prices. What do you mean you're carrying rides of 2900 or 1800 or even 2,500? Are you normal? Be you on CNG, electric, give yourself some decency. You don't just carry riders and base the cost on fuel alone, your time and vehicle maintenance must be factored in. The prices i saw yesterday when I wanted to work a little was not even encouraging for what weekend used to be. The thing is that money is not yet in circulation, people are just coping but they have to adjust. Many people really need ride for important meetings, events and movements, if we focus on this folks, even 3 or 5 quality ride a day is okay for any driver, you have less time on the road but desperation and hunger wan kill some of them. I use fuel with a car with Venza engine, but I am sure i make more than some on CNG or electric. I no fit carry yeye prices, i am patient and i understand positioning from just reading people's experiences here and on the job experience. I still work my 9-5 on and off but I no dey even wait for Salary before I take care of little bills or myself. Even my boss sef dey observe me when I order food or buy new clothing, she no dey try werey reach my side, coz I exude confidence in my appearance and manners/conduct. Some Uber drivers no dey even eat, them don resemble beggars finish, don't you think the body that works deserves to eat? Those of una way dey accept yeye prices, make una give una sef brain o. Make una no go spoil this Ember period for us o. Thanks to all the OGs here, una advices and tips brought us this far. I started around this time last year, and since then, the difference is clear. Imagine owning a car and being broke most times, unable to pay some bills even your enemy go doubt you but na you know your self, but now we can use our property(car) to make money to use to do ads and support the main hustle. God would help us all, Amen 🙏

3. Not sure what u are trying to say but are u aware electric car drivers deliver 50k daily? Do the maths urself.

I have been ignoring their bonuses since, cos all na wash.
Me wey fit work only 2/3 days in a week sometimes self.
This one just happened ni jare.
Winning indrive bonus, just fund account normally and ignore their mumu bonus.
I no just wan make the target waste when I only had two trips left.

Cos it used to be 4.8(0) for a new rider/profile, not the 5(0) that's rampant now.

They are gradually phasing out negotiation, that's their plan.

Indrive is cunning and very stingy - I'm sure everybody knows this.
Apart from the freedom to choose rides and negotiate, every other thing about them is scam (as you rightly said).
But it is worthy of note that indrive doesn't do card trips like others, so, because of this, there are a lot of things that might not work on indrive: being unable to withdraw bonuses is one.
Even, the bonus self, na only commission e cover, person is on his own with other charges.

You see that "one click" of a thing, na the riders I dey pity cos those who are ordering rides with that one-click BS will get frustrated when drivers don't pick their trips.
Any time I see that one-click orders, I go just dey laugh.
Though, some reasonable riders use that one-click and increase the prices to somehow fair amount, so, no driver go need to start bidding higher again.

Whichever way it is, indrive na real scammer .
Those people sabi the scamming work no be small.
Well, na the newbies and the greedy drivers go dey enter their scamboard.

Lastly, abeg I no be indrive advocate ohhhh.
So, I no receive any board meeting invitation.
