Guys, people are making REAL LIFE DECISIONS just by reading your experience from this forum. Some will quit their job, relocate their families, sleep under ajah bridge because you have unknowingly sold to them an unsustainable version of the job! Stop adding sweeteners, addictive or ginger to your experience. It is not fair on others. Partners read this stories and they go back to press the neck of their drivers.. Don't be unfortunate!
Pls note that not everyone has the same IQ or street smartness like you, some do not have the ability to think deeper, they just ACT, because you share not ur experience but tales by moonlight.
Again, don't be unfortunate.
Thank you.
Is Pearl 50k net profit(after fuel and comm) daily a sweetner? 50k after fuel and commission, before bread, caprisone drinks and fruits grin.
Because if half of drivers are making 50k net profit(after fuel and comm), why are we dancing azonto at Alausa again huh

U will find those lucky trips ones in a while but it's not sustainable except u just drive for fun and not for any monetary target.
I have used Indrive and it's not compatible with me and my earnings, I have challenged anybody using Indrive to show me Profit (after fuel and commission of 50k daily)
Pope and Glithronix are grandfather's in Indrive but they no fit. But babies in Bolt or a combination of both Apps can do this without stress.

No serious high earner on Indrive, na prayer and fasting u go dey do daily to get trips and meet your target. Some days will be good but some days will be very very bad. It's not like that on Bolt, everyday is a good day, provided u can put in d hours
Wahala! So Bolt drivers gross 95k daily for 50k net, while Indrive drivers gross 80k daily for 50k net profit... 600k+- weekly.. Wawuu! abeg which part of Lagos una dey get these rides from. grin... abeg, make una share motivational dashboards

I will check them out this night,I remember when I told my rewire I needed led headlight, dude blatantly told me 15k for both, the next day I enter ladipo ,they were quoting from 12k for both, that night one thing say make I check AliExpress naso I see 7k for both headlight plus shipping, sharply I place order after confirming from the seller it is compatible with my car, when I received it ,I drove to my rewire to fix,he was surprised and asked for the price I bought it ,I told him he should not worry and replace the old one that was dull, for the past one year if I put on my headlight from twenty metres ,people dey cover eyes 😆 🤣
Normally, using led light is an offence. But Nigeria problem has gone beyond arresting motorists for led lights. Some don't even know how to use full light, you will flash them, they won't burge or they don't even know when to put it off in some instance, in traffic, busy street with street light, everywhere they are on.
The worst are the Keke napep and bikes, some are using colour led light and always flickering it, endangering their life. Very funny guys. Flickering the liight and inconvenienting others is vibes for them. grin.
Those using led light should know how to use and consider other road users.

The CNG will also go up. What happens then?
The truth is Ehailing fares are too low. The App companies should realize this. There may be more trips but the overall take home is lower than if the fares Increase and d demand drops. Drivers still make more even with low patronage. So there is no reason to make fares this cheap even in the face of increased fuel price. Except that they want drivers to lock shop. This is d first time fuel will go up by double and prices will not change. It's crazy. The prices must go up. The barest minimum is that a 2.4litre petrol engine car must gross X4 his fuel money, When u deduct commission and fuel ur take home profit should be double ur fuel money. That's only when it makes economic sense. That way u can save for car maintenance.
But currently u buy fuel of N30k and gross 60k after commission and fuel u are left with less than than half of the gross or nothing. Cos in some cases u use 10k fuel to complete a 10k trip.
FUEL PRICE HAS DOUBLED, FARES MUST DOUBLE.
There is no other way to say it.
When they push a Nigerian to the wall, we will dig the wall, put matress, furnish it, put air-condition and hide inside rather than push back. Reason these birds of ill-omen government will never take us serious. We easily acclimatize to any condition. A time is coming, we will be considering Keke napep for ehailing to make profits. The recent improvement is a slightly higher demands, not improved fares.

There is a particular street around Shasha road, Egbeda, "Abeokuta street". Most weekends that I have been there, there is always fake orders coming from there. They will even pick your calls, say rubbish and waste your time. Third time I was there, I decided to park somewhere and walk to the street because is not motorable. Is a terrible location and looks dead end. Saw some guys gathered, not sure who and who. I just want to urge drivers to becareful around that axis. Is not normal to keep doing fake orders, same location everytime if they don't have ulterior motives. Ire o

Frustrated drivers.
Imagine a full business driver, using Indrive, in the midst of these scanvabegers grin.
Indrive free market strategy is working for them because they know prices can never be fixed.
They will get more customers,
their commission is intact.
Nothing can change this narration because free market is a complex economics, determined by demand/supply. There can never be a universal language among these list above.
Bottom line, everybody will still be fine

Na ur fellow drivers go increase price when they're ready, for now, let them continue with fastest finger 🖕... Coman wait for me to do protest... Na why few days back when I talk say it a norm for me to pick ajah to vi 14k to 20k on indrive, person no believe, today na 16800 i pick to vi.... We no dey rush for this side, when una don ready, una go relax, those clown driving suzukis, when car don run down out of poor ride choices, and them see money maintain, dem go wise up.... Ur rulers wey una put in power suppose don subsidise oil to 50doris give dangeote, we suppose dey buy fuel 300 - 400, but no... They'll rather share rice and build coastal road with trillions, road wey only 0.005% of the population will ever use. When una ready to put better people in power, una go let me know, till then... Business good for indrive, so long as you make it so.... If you dey do business, buying and selling, will becus amaka is selling 500 naira, make i sell 500 naira too, even tho i cost price is 550?no you'll wait till you see who go buy 600....if customer no see who sell 500 for am, customer go price 600...if una dey find who una go protest against, protest against una selves, we're out own enemies.
One of the problems of Nigeria is unanimity. I believe a lot of drivers feel this way but still chose to observe the strike action. Imagine Uber and Bolt driver loyalty going online because they believe only Indrive is the problem. Most drivers dont even believe the suppose ehailing leadership or believe there will be tangible outcome. But it is reasonable to a large extent to observe it because is better to try than do nothing at all. The trip you did was most likely because of the strike action going on.
You are right, we are our own enemies, especially when it comes to unanimous decisions.
Families,
Neighbors
Church/Mosque/Traditionals
SUG,
Political.... but as individuals, we can still try to be civil and do our part. LET EACH OF US DO OUR PART.

Lol...it has happened to me many times but the one that paned me the most was the one that happened recently. I reached pick up point after passing thro ugh bad horrible road, I saw the 2 Oloshos about 4 buildings in front of me. I picked up phone to call, that's how one yellow commercial bus filled with olosho girls was passing, they waved it down and jumped in. And immediately they cancelled. Chai. I felt like ramming into that bus.
grin grin grin...very funny reading this, but terrible in reality. This aspect of ehailing is the most traumatizing. The first thing I do is have their direct line on my phone, for those that have. The kind of non violent texts I send them after such heinous act, some return the text apologizing. Even witches and wizard are not as wicked as some of such riders grin...
What is the ideal per km now on indrive now. With 1,244/L, calculations don scatter... riders not picking 450/500/km bids, they rather accept our Zuzuki Rolls-Royce 250/300/ltr

Even if he use V8 on ehailing, he will still make money. But you have to understand that, most response from some people on this thread is squarely from business point of view, it goes beyond survival. Not just getting back your fuel money. Many of us don't even know how to calculate profit. we just plan to get back fuel money. Few years, the Tokunbo will turned Tiladipobo. Then, he will now be considering CNG , after Kazeem and Nigeria pam oil have messed up the car. So, whichever way, you are right because he will make money, but not likely good money.

Hello I’m hitting the road soon as a Uber driver as a means to offset one’s current bill and economic recession..I will be driving from Ikeja .. pls if you got any advice for me to aid my confidence in this job pls do share ..have read through the group chats for a while now and I’m quite encouraged by you guys resilience in this business ..I pray the road will be good with me cause normally I get tired easily driving on Lagos road and I’m not too conversant with the Lagos road except heading to few high brow area but I guess google map will be my partner for a while until I get used to this roads ..I hope this job is exciting and most especially encouraging financially, I guess I will find out by myself..
Boss, learn to buy fuel right, get fuel only at confirmed stations (mrs ahmodu, Mobil Agidingbi, Total Gbagada etc.
Avoid these locations,
Alakija,
Amuwo Odofin
Orile Iganmu,
Ojo
Mile2/Apapa
Amukoko,
Bagadry
Oko Agbon
Igbo Elerin
Okokomaiko
Ifelodun Ajeromi
Shigbiri
Oko afo grin etc.
If you miss road or bridge, you will certainly find your way out, no matter what. Lagos route is very interesting. Facing traffic, burning fuel or losing few bucks is better than been at the mercy of the vampire law enforcers, no revers on highway oo, no mind riders advising you to quickly use one way.
Any issue with police, always sort it on the road, no drive go their den.
Don't do offline deliveries.
Don't go inside any warehouse or store to collect delivery on behalf of rider, or using code on their behalf.
Na smartness and luck, especially this period, no be hardwok. Is not about number of trip you did daily, is about number of goodfair trip you did.
Becareful of one way, especially around Shomolu, if you are sensitive, something will tell you, you are entering a one way, study the road and car positions. For this period, stay with bolt and Uber, no go drag ride with Glithronix and co oo, you won't get any trip.
Minimum fare for this "period" should be 350/400 per km. Divide trip gross by km to have 'idea' because traffic time should also be considered.
ALWAYS PARK AT SAFE PLACE... if you need to drive 3km to find safe place, do.
Yaba, Ogba, Olowora, etc have more safe places. And if there is traffic to drive to safe places, enter any bank, eatery, find seat, queue up and enjoy AC while looking for another trip grin
DONT PICK UP at airport for any reason. Only drop off and zoom off to Ajao estate. If Jesus stops you to pick Him up, tell Him to come to designated car park. grin
If you have butter face and cool person, you go need Feli001 grin, small, chinchini touch of agbero vibes and words (not really necessary).
Lately, interms of earnings, saturday and sunday is overatted, but they are good days to build confidence.
Lastly, have exiting plans, either long, medium or short, plan na plan.
I wish you best of God.

Some people still dey judge these apps based on one trip?
You never see where indrive price on a particular trip beats both Uber and Bolt together?
Make we come conclude say indrive is better than Bolt and Uber based on that? NO!

Definitely, no experienced indrive DRIVER go pick that 10.5k trip cos they all know the real worth of such trip.
Las las, na the rider go tire and switch to Uber or Bolt when no driver is picking the ride.

You dey see prices on indrive both in the afternoon and evening/night time?

Indrive na real gamer (this period). ✅

Much respect, boss.
You can not imagine the kind of ridiculous fare some drivers are picking. Someone must have picked the ride the guy is talking about. Especially the 9-5 and side gigs geng. They just want to cover for fuel. Unfortunately, some indrive drivers are so unbelievable, out of frustration, they just want to move about(hard work), driving around like headless chickens. My advice is, they should download uber/Bolt rider app and sometimes check the ridiculous orders they've been picking this period. You run away from 25% doesn't mean you should give indrive riders all the 15%. Indrive is very interesting as is base on dynamic market.
