Phargbemmy: A lot of us says the low rating will not take them off the market, but have we reasoned that it can change the entire management!
If the Mother company has a real stake in what is happening in Nigerian market, it can lead to the sack of UCHE!. Because slipping from 4.6 to 1.1 shows that there is a long-term crisis which has of been well handled The sack of Uche might be what lead to this new inhuman and slavery kind of policy. I still believe Uche knows the system better. It might be one stupid manager from another country crossing the road without looking both ways. Something is wrong within the management. |

Pearl1910: Whom the Gods want to kill, they first make mad. That's how Uber started with unfavorable policies now Bolt is copying nonsense. Anyone that tries to take away the independence that drivers should have will suffer for it. U can't force drivers to accept and complete 90% of the trips they get. Worse still, if rider cancels, driver still gets punished. If there is no way around it, no be person go tell them to change. I haven't updated the App yet, so till then.
To Bolt Reps and Agents...reading this. I know this is done for Riders to have a better experience on the App. But u have to put the drivers in the center of all your decisions and policies. What I think u should do if u must enforce this policy is 1. Make minimum fare to be at least N800. 2. U know d unfavourable trips in Lagos, so when someone is going to outskirts of town just make d fare automatically to be minimum X1.5 more than the current price (surge or no surge) To compensate for d many disadvantages of taking such trips.
Don't forget how u started, don't think u r Indispensable, There are ehailing Apps on the fringes just waiting for you to slip up You are right boss. But at the same time, there is no policy whatsoever that can be substituted for DRIVERS FREEDOM. The policy is even contradicting, what is the essence of displaying destination. Moreso, may be Uche is not charge anymore. Because only Uche understand this business as pertain to Nigeria business environment. I will advice Bolt drivers to have their Uber account handy, even if you are yet to be on "Driver score"... Uber please welcome drivers with open arms |

Pearl1910: Una wey dey give newbies illegal tips on a public forum una dor o. Driver score has been introduced to check excessive cancellation and trip selection. Rating checkmate coming up. I think Bolt is about to lose drivers to Uber if they should continue with these new features. Except expert device another Kanuisagoat techniques Ketch. |

Themi06: Bosses. Wahala dey o. How does my rate keep dropping? I rate my riders 5 star most times and i beg dem to rate me 5 star too. Still e dey drop everytime. What can i do bayii? 4.5 they’ll block my ass Please, if you can stop begging riders for rating, it will be good. Riders will start holding other drivers ransom for such. You can DM Kanuisagoat, for KBolt training on how to.. ... But ofcurse, if that doesn't work, to save yourself from blocking that may affect your means of earning, you have to continue begging, strategically though, not desperately. Because man must survive! |

BAZ001: In the olden days if you can’t read or write you are an illiterate. But this our generation if you can’t operate (apps / techy / online ) you are an illiterate, even if you can read or write. Though Corner44 talks about semi-illiterate only him can explain
So I don’t care your level of education if you can’t operate simple apps like banking apps , ehailing apps, Snapchat, Twitter, wether on android or iPhone you are an illiterate. There is nothing you can tell me today , Once I hear “Where are you”’, what’s the color of your car? What’s you name ? Can you on your hazzal light (festac girl) Are you my driver ? If you like wear suit and have phd you are an illiterate.
Having said that , we have 3 types of drivers approach to this hustle 1. Hoodlum driver approach : very high temper, waiting for rider to mess up and dey flare up, shout at you, like you and rider get personal beef before.
2. Ikejamanism/simps like or mumu approach Licking riders Ass cos of ratings, Shouting yes ma upandan, going down to open boot, carrying bags and undies for ladies, dashing dem 500# and keep d change
3. Veteran approach: They only care about d trip, is it surge, is it cash trip, is it long distance , is it good road. They may not greet you at all or care if you ask stupid question. Just let’s go.
In all, the mood of the driver per time and quality of trip determines their approach.
I’m not against you or your post just stating my point, in fact Some or must drivers too are illiterate but story for other day.
I understand we need to be calming down too But dis Lagos no dey help matter. Many are mad few are roaming How on earth will you exclude or forget LazyD approach?

Dailyparrot: An Uber rider requested me and I drove to his house. When he came out, he said that the place he selected is different from where he's going.
I told him to update the location and the next thing I saw was "rider canceled". The Ekuke canceled the ride while sitting inside my car. You know that Uber app does not work like Bolt. If it was Bolt, being close to each other would have made him get me easily when he requests again.
But Uber will be giving you 20 minutes pickup when there's a five minutes request close to you. Not until you keep rejecting those long pickup that you will eventually get the closer one.
While I was waiting to see if he could get me, I kept refusing other requests coming to me not knowing that this nigga has gotten another driver and was stylishly waiting for him inside my car.
Just in few minutes time, a corolla was coming towards our direction. The next thing I heard was "sorry bro, my new driver is already here".
He immediately jumped out of my car and started racing towards the corolla until the guy passed us and continued his journey. It even happened that the corolla guy was carrying a rider.
As I was watching what was going on from my rear mirror, this idiot of a guy ran back and entered my car again that I should carry him to his destination. I asked him how much he wants to pay and he said it's a 500 naira trip.
If not that yesterday was a Sunday, what will it cost me to just give the dude some headbutt.
I told him to leave my car at once.
I really suffered yesterday because I couldn't get Bolt cash trips. The only 3 trips I did on Bolt fetched me 12k gross, whereas all my Uber trips yesterday from morning til night could only get me 13k net.
I truly lost out of Bolt surging trips yesterday At some point in this hustling line, you will need the touch of Hoodlumnism. Either you are AntL, LazyD, IkjM. Is even more annoying reading the bolded part. Sorry for your ordeal boss.

Yeyegbami hope you came through for the guy...

Lets please try to assist those that are well known here pls... At some points in life we'll faced with challenges we never bargain and looking all sides we can't see anybody to help out.
Before a grown up man would come out with his known moniker to seek for help it means things have gone beyond limit.
One of our main purpose in life is to help humanity even though we'll be taken for granted and be paid back with ungratefulness.
But in all we do let love lead.
Till today I still appreciate to kodre and mama radautoworks for coming through last yr for me when the whole world was crashing.
May God bless them with long life and peace. Dru23 nko? .. I believe what transpires between you guys, oyel to Jamaican rice, have direct or indirect impact on your journey so far in ehailing.
