RomanceRe: Why Cant Women Stop Begging Honestly Its Just A Shame by shooze: 9:37pm On Aug 04, 2011
Some men beg some women beg that is why you go see the most wowo female banker having plenty toasters becos the man has seen ready made babe. Come to most offices now a lot of women are married to men that don't even provide one naira and will still open throat and eat assorted. My sister dated one "today honey please can I have 10k there. " Tomorrow honey please quickly loan me 5k" and bros will never pay backm Its before gold digging was strictly a woman thing. Now some men na diamond dem dey dig. If you run with wolves you will soon howl like one that is to say if u follow long throat babe then prepare to pay the price .

Christianity EtcGovernment Please Ban Public Religious Activities In Nigeria by shooze(op): 4:29am On Aug 03, 2011
I think the government should place a ban on public religious activities . Since the Muslim fast started the mosque near my house starts blaring from as early as 3am and does not let up to 6am and we will have to endure this for the next 30 days. It gets worse when a church is having revival and then it becomes a competition as they both try to outdo themselves . This is downright wickedness under the guise of religion. Government please do something

Nothing changes a life like love. No one is saying you should pat addicts on the back but shaming and condemning them often leads to suicide because your fragile self esteem is further bashed or you spiral down more into the addiction as you feel that is your only source of solace. I don't like going all spiritual but when the adulterous woman was brought to Jesus what do you think turned her life around , the people shouting stone her or the kindness Jesus showed her. Why did Jesus not shout at zacheus and say look at a thief in the trees and rather decided to eat at his place giving him a sense of self worth. When you are an addict your sense of worth is greatly diminished. Tough love helps but guy shaming and condemning does not do jack

Your ranting honestly mean nothing to me. At least for a crackhead I can type a sentence in plain English without resorting to swearing or spewing out wannabe gangster lingo like an addict undergoing cold turkey treatment. Secondly I am a babe not a dude and when you suffer abuse from the age of 11 you can then come and we will repeat this conversation.
We can't all be superhuman like Sagamite the Great

No one has excused her lifestyle. What I need you to understand is people sometimes go through stuff and in trying to block their mind from these stuff sometimes engage in dangerous habits. I am not holding brief for Amy winehouse nor am I trying to get cheap sympathy but trust me quitting addiction is not something you just snap ur fingers and say OK I am done it takes time effort and his grace. Her "sins" may have been such that the whole world saw and could easily judge her for but who knows what addictions we all battle with privately
Music/RadioRe: Amy Winehouse Is Dead by shooze: 9:55pm On Jul 25, 2011
Thank you. I just don't think anyone would deliberately set out to destroy their lives it often starts slowly and before you know it your life spirals out of control. Amy winehouse was first a human being then an addict so saying good riddance and one addict less is in such poor taste.
Music/RadioRe: Amy Winehouse Is Dead by shooze: 9:21pm On Jul 25, 2011
I have followed this thread with amusement because its so easy to sit in judgement of others when we are no better. I was an addict for 8 years and it was Not because I was irresponsible it was rather to escape from horrors I would rather not discuss here and I know how difficult it is to quit the addiction. No one wants to wake up lying in their own vomit or not knowing if u will even wake up . I was able to break it not because of any rehab but by his grace. For sagamite your constant repitition of the word cretin is beginning to make me wonder if you are not a crackhead yourself. @ davidlyan you are a "christian" all I can say to you is what would Jesus say?
@ coogar and his crew thank you

@CC nice write up but does not always have a happy ending like yours. My mum married my dad when he had nothing I mean nothing and toiled and sweated and when money came who got the shopping malls and brand new cars certainly not my mum but a string of girlfriends . Rewind to the present dated a broke arse man for 5yrs stood by him supported him physically, spiritually materially and when he finally made it married a young girl and guess his reason I knew too much about his beginning.the guy that seems so humble now and hard-working wait until he makes money then we will see his true character. For me any struggling brother should waka far

RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by shooze: 8:58pm On Feb 15, 2011
Thank u lex87 as someone pointed out how much does the girl earn. Let's assume she earns 15k so the joint income is 32k. I laugh in swahili .not marrying guy who earns 17k does not make u a gold digger just a realist. I would never marry a man earning 17k and I don't intend to marry an adenuga either I want a man who at least meets me halfway. As I said earlier what happens if the guy never makes it I am sure love will not turn into garri. We often act as if poverty = good man meanwhile na lie. If any man earning 17k comes my way and proposes marriage na cane I go use flog am.
And to those who will come with no wonder you are not married angle whatever . I am engaged to a man who is at least comfortable. Instead of the guy to sort himself out he wants to marry marry ko marry ni
RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by shooze: 2:39pm On Feb 15, 2011
Gold digging goes both ways. When I just started work I know how many marriage proposals I got but now as level don change I know how many men suddenly see me as wife material. Most of us are drawn to success both male and female. If you can marry him its all good if you can't it all good too.its so easy to assume he will become successful but he may also earn 17k for ever. I have seen so many women marrying a man saying we will struggle together and when the kids start rolling in an no cash resentment sets in and love flies outside the window.
RomanceRe: Would You Marry Him - Even Without A Good Job by shooze: 12:43pm On Feb 15, 2011
I did not mean to disparage a 3rd class degree just saying it sometimes becomes more difficult to get a job when you have a certain class of degree as employers usuAlly ask for 2.1 or 2.2. That said I totally agree with your comment. Its easy to cast stones at the girl but how many of us will allow our sister marry him. His priority now should not be marriage but getting financial empowerment.baby food is not cheap oh

I am in nigeria. I read sociology and I earn a 6digit monthly salary and have 30 people with "better" degrees reporting to me. I got my first job without any connection but I came out tops in exams and interviews. Its not what you study amina its what you know up there and your faith and beliefs and ability to push yourself.perhaps the guy came out with a 3rd class

Run away fast. I have a friend in the same shoes but in her case she is married. The guy sponges off her and when she stopped he started going round using her name to borrow . She is helpless .you are not married so hope is not lost. I now agree that women always have an idea what kind of marriage we will have but we often still good ahead. Use your head or you will back here telling us how ur husband does not care for the home
