Upon all the lying Mohamed's and Dullard Muhammadu's, Mohammed Ali was the only one death decided to take. |
yorme:Patience, even if they decide to keep us waiting for 2 more years |
whizpet:Lies upon lies, haba. Too much exaggeration. Can u imagine, 1million calls? It would take 347 days to receive 1million calls assuming you are receiving 2calls every minute. This propaganda govt has really lost touch of reality. |
U guys doubting this young man's age are just disgusting. OK even if he's forty, the guy is 40. How does that affect you? He's done very well 4 himself at whatever age he claims he is. As in, for some people to just sit down in one place and start calculating d age of someone that is already so successful. What do u even gain from doubting his age. Something u can never prove no matter what. |
University of Lagos (UNILAG) students have opened an online petition against the school authorities for suspending the student union body (ULSU). The objectives of the petition includes: The restoration of The University of Lagos Student Union Body popularly known as ULSU That no bonafide student of the aforementioned university be required to sign any documents they do not want to sign before being allowed back into campus. That all the demands the Student Union body placed before the management be considered and addressed subsequently. These demands include power supply, availability of basic amenities including water and a proper regulation of prices of goods on campus to ensure that the traders do not take advantage of the students. http://www.newsroom.ng/unilag-students-drag-vc-un-online-petition-restoreulsu-gathers-momentum/ |
Flexherbal:That's not the point I'm trying to make bro. I'm saying we shud stop believing evry1 lied about their ages |
I've always wondered why Nigerian youths always doubt the ages of their players and celebrities in general. I've been a Mikel fan right since 2005 and recall how young be looked then. I remember when he celebrated his 20th birthday and many Nigerians where saying he was over 30 already. Almost ten years later now, the same Mikel who people said was over 30 then is still playing regularly in one of the biggest clubs in the world and as just been named captain of super eagles. Guess he should be like 45 by now going by their calculations in 2005. We youths should stops this habit of always doubting celebrities ages. Afterall none of us was there when 'him Mama dey push am out of Belle'. I know many youths of today are jobless and haven't achieve d much at 30 plus, but that doesn't mean someone else cannot be successful at 19. We should just stop this habit cos I think it breeds laziness in us and the coming generation who will continue to think that they cannot be succesfull or famous at a young age except they are from Davido's family. Dont we see how American Celebrities become famous and successful at very young ages. Why must ours be an exception. We should stop having this believe that we cannot be successful at young ages and maybe we can be leaders of tomorrow. Afterall, most of our presidents where very young whe n they became famous so why can't we. This is just my humble opinion. Not every body is an age cheat. |

As a child, Iheanacho was not so lucky and in his first major newspaper interview since bursting on to the scene this season, the 19-year-old reveals the hardship he felt as a youngster. Brought up in what he describes as a ‘poor area’, he was one of the worse-off kids and could rarely afford even 20p to watch football. Iheanacho has flourished in this season’s FA Cup, scoring at Norwich in the third round before a hat-trick against Aston Villa in the fourth. City’s squad signed his match ball and could be heard singing the fans’ chant of ‘Ihean-atch-io’ inside the Villa Park dressing room while their shy star performed media duties outside. With nine goals already under his belt in an excellent debut year, he is ready to lead the line for City at Stamford Bridge but has no recollection of ever seeing an FA Cup tie back home. ‘We didn’t have the money,’ he says. ‘Maybe after the game I’d hear the scores and all that. I’d be at home playing football and my friends would come back after being there to tell me. We didn’t have a television at home.’ Iheanacho is quiet at first, not entirely comfortable with opening up about his childhood, his knees twitching as he explains that his family would use what little money they had on bread rather than luxuries like television. It is a demeanour far removed from the nerveless striker who belies his teenage years on the pitch. ‘Sometimes I watched the Spanish league — it was a bit cheaper, maybe 30 naira,’ he adds. ‘But the Premier League was 50. Sometimes I’d watch the Premier League if I found the money, or I’d go there and beg them to let me in. Or sneak in for the second half and pay half the money. ‘I support Barcelona because I watched the Spanish league. I saw Yaya [Toure] playing for Barcelona… and now I’m playing with him. It’s a dream come true. ‘I have to be my own man but he is a big influence in Africa. He has done a lot in Africa and I hope to do that as well.’ Toure, along with fellow Ivorian Wilfried Bony, took Iheanacho under his wing when City manager Manuel Pellegrini unexpectedly refused to sign a striker last summer because there was an academy lad capable of stepping up without the need to gain experience by going out on loan. http://footballlive.ng/footballnews/9ja-news/iheanacho-i-paid-%e2%82%a650-or-begged-to-watch-epl-now-i-play-with-yaya-toure/ |

ihondben:MTN foundation confirms your results themselves from your school. Any existing beneficiary who doesn't qualify is not included in the existing beneficiary list they displayed on national dailies. And since they already have your DYA details, all you need to do is to hope and wait for alert just like everyone else. (As long as you're on the list). Hopefully, barring any issues, they should pay soon. |
I've sent you a mail but you haven't replied yet. |

Seems there is huge possibility that Enyeama will be given a big punishment by NFF. Who should replace him if he is stripped off Eagles captaincy. Ejide Mikel Emenike Musa Onazi. I think Mikel is our best option for now. |
It’s always motivating when a Nigerian is in the news for achieving something positive. Mufutau Akuruyejo is the first Nigerian to receive the CERN ICT training where he will participate in the nine-week open lab programme courtesy of MTN Foundation and Oracle. He left Lagos for Switzerland on Saturday to receive the training and hopefully become certified by Oracle. Mufutau is a 500 level undergraduate of Unilag and he emerged as the only African from over 1,500 students all over the world that applied for the scheme. MTNF and Oracle are passionate about boosting ICT skills in Nigerian students and Mufutau is one of the many beneficiaries. The purpose of this programme is to accelerate the development of cutting edge solutions to be used by the worldwide LHC (large hadron collider) community. Over 4,900 students from Nigerian Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education have benefited from MTN Foundation’s scheme and these students have been awarded scholarships worth hundreds of millions. http://www.bellanaija.com/2015/06/23/mtn-foundation-scholar-mufutau-akuruyejo-makes-nigeria-proud/
