EducationRe: Unilag 2013/2014/admission by shopisky(m): 2:42pm On Jul 30, 2013
Omosivie,:
I can't advise u to study this course. Pls don't rush into a university and study any course. Can u boldly tell someone that u're studying home econs educationhuh? I know of someone that's studying crk and she's always ashamed of it and she tries to tu.sh it up a little bit.
That's very true bro, don't apply for any course with the intentions of pulling out when you get to year two. You will need a CGPA of 4.0 and above to do that. Besides, education students are not allowed to cross to other faculties. Just wait for the cut-off marks and see where you stand first before making decisions.
Omosivie,:
It's not really possible to do that cos it's a cumbersome process.
1, Ur Gpa must be above 4.5.
2. There must be an available space in the department u want to move to.
3. Ur department must be willing to let go of u. In some cases, ur department won't want to let go of u if u're one of their best students.
You will only need 4.5 when you're crossing over to professional courses like ENGINEERING,Law etc. As your current department, they will not have the right to reject your transfer. But still I will not advise anyone to depend on such procedures as you don't even know what you will face when you get in. Just make sure who have interest in whatever course you are going for and don't go for a course with the aim of changing.

Ignorance is Bliss in your case.

It clearly says in the link above that "...The colleges and universities are ranked by web popularity in 200 countries."

And if you are truly a UNILAG student,That says it all.
And guess the owner of Africa.com is also a Unilag student or Alumnus. Or she was probably paid by Bello, (our V.C) Bros, envy cannot lead you anywhere.

vicade: And for the 1000th time, 4icu ranks universities based on web ranking. The population of unilag and its IT penetration has more to do with the ranking rather than academic excellence, integrity or reputation. When it comes to those 3 parameters, I'm sure UNILAG won't be in the top 20 in africa;and that's without including the south african universities.
guy get ur facts right. Webometrics is based on web presence, 4icu is not. If u are not convinced, chk 4 urself, by d way i feel UNILAG is a step above others not because am a student.

There is a seperate list for SA Universities so has not to interfere with the list, SA unis are no doubt the best in africa and in top could have about 7 or 8 unis check this, www.4icu.org/topAfrica/ if not for SA unis, UNILAG would be 7th

Thiago (baby Messi). Guess we

will
grow up to be world best.
Anything
Messi will always beat anything
Ronaldo whether you like it or
not.
Sorry haters, maybe Ronaldo
should try again next year and
this time around, he shouldn't
be scared of taking a important
penalty kicks like he did againt
Spain in the Euros. And hope as
well that Messi doesn't score
100 goals. But time is ticking
for the guy. The likes of Reus,
Mata, Oscar, Wilshere, Falcao
Naymar etc are closing in on
his World No. 2 tag.

shopisky: Represent d tens and unit digits with x and y respt. From d 1st part of d question, 3x = 2 + y y - 3x + 2 = 0 -----(eqn 1) From d 2nd part, 10y + x = 36 + 10x + y 9y - 9x - 36 = 0 by factorising we get y - x - 4 = 0-----(eqn 2) [note that because we are dealing with a two-digit-number, we multiply the tens digit by 10 and add to the unit digit] Now solvin equations 1 and 2 by elimination method (eqn 2)-(eqn 1) we get 2x - 6 = 0 x = 3 by subst. (x = 3) into any of d eqns, we get y =7 therefore, the tens and unit digits are 3 and 7 respectively givin 37
infact, answers to questns like this dont need solvin, just look at d options, which fits the 1st criteria? (three times d tens digit = 2 plus d unit digit), only 37 fits, cos d tens digit is 3, times 3 gives 9 which equals 2 plus d unit digit (7).
